  I wonder if anyone has noticed this. They offer a value-added package update dated 08/01/2008 my Qosmio G30 HD - DVD (PQ31). The file reference is vap - 20080108132320.zip.   Please don't be crazy about me, but what you wrote is noting but totally absurd. There is no difference between the versions of Vista and all Toshiba designed tools, utilities, or packages are universal and can be installed on every version of Vista.

  I'm also using XP SP3 and it works. So, try the following:

  -Ensure to that Bluetooth stack is correctly uninstalled (answer all questions during the uninstallation with yes).
  -Download the latest Bluetooth stack.
  -Install it.

  I just updated my Qosmio F750 from Windows 7 to Windows 8.1 successfully, and the windows 10 offer appeared.

  But one thing is not fair. When I go to Device Manager it shows Bluetooth RFCOMM with the! mark in the yellow triangle.

  I do not know what WLan support for laptop cards but some Qosmio F750 models were equipped with the Atheros WLan / BT combo card.

  This module supports WLan and BT and get BT (under Win 8.1) you need to install the Bluetooth driver filter Package (Atheros package filter for driver Atheros BT card needed) and the Toshiba system driver.

  Is that Toshiba drivers are changed and don t allow overheating, but at the same time reduce the performance of the GPU. If you use the Toshiba-no driver, I can imagine that GPU now works without limit, but it results in more heat and better performance of equipment.

  If Wlan module / card is recognized in Device Manager and you should be able to activate and use the WiFi.

  If you did the recovery with Win 8 media you cannot make another copy.  HP Support Assistant does not.  Can do only one source of recovery.  Whenever I came back to Win 8.1 due to problems, I had to move again to win 10 using the FREE option.

  This SP3 contains all fixes and updates.

  Workaround solution:
  Remove/uninstall the audio driver.
  Install SP3
  Restart the device
  Reinstall the audio driver
  Reboot the laptop and test again.
