  I want to configure my new two external monitors to function as an extended desktop MPB lid closed, but am not clear how. What I see as I type this now is the screen MBP as usual, the external monitor to the right has the image of the desktop from my laptop but nothing else, and your screen to the left with the Yosemite stock to the image of the Sun and nothing else. They are connected by a Targus docking station, I guess that properly since both are alive and well.

  What I would do with lid closed is the screen to the left of the screen MBP and see right monitor as an extension of the left. I tried to close the laptop to see it would automatically migrate to the left monitor, but it does nothing.

  In system/display Preferences, you can set to mirror or extend.  https://support.Apple.com/en-us/HT202351 if this does not work, you might have a problem with your connection.

  I have a Qosmio G20-108 with BIOS 1.2. I've set a scheduled task in Windows to run at night and wake up the computer to do. This only happens when the cover is open, if it is not closed, the task is not executed. Does anyone know if the reactivation of the BIOS will work if the lid is closed? Update the BIOS to 1.4 make windows work power the machine on the lid closed?

  On an unrelated note, where can you get information about what is in the various versions of BIOS? I'm not used to slapping just the latest BIOS on a machine if I have the problem, I want to know what is in the update, what are the features it has and what suits it contains! An hour to search the net and support of Toshiba pages and I cannot find a thing, except for the file to 1.4 real day.

• Qosmio G50-129 no sound with HDMI connection

  Hello.

  I have a Quosmio G50-129. Recently, I tried plugging it into my Sony Bravia LCD TV via the HDMI connection.
  I have video output but there is no sound on the TV.

  I tried to set the HDMI as audio device as default and the sound level meter in the sound properties panel appears to show activity, but nothing comes out.

  Can anyone help?

• Very slow / freeze while working with photos in Photoshop Elements and Canon DPP

  Suddenly my Windows XP has become very slow or crashes when working with photos.  I have Canon DPP and Photoshop Elements installed, and in the two following occurs: I can edit a photo without any problem but when I try to work with a second picture the system slows down / freezes.  It unlocks after a minute or two each time.  I tried cleaners registry check disk, Disk Defragmenter, virus, etc. etc. scans and no problems.  All other works very well and this problem started just out of nowhere.  Any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated.

  I am currently evaluating Developer SQL and I'm looking for most of the features that allow connections several clearly distinct to avoid DBA errors when working with multiple connections in parallel.
  Currently, it seems that developer SQL provided these features:
  -Organization of folders in Explorer-> for example, we can create a folder per environment (DEV,...).
  -name of connection-> each user can define his own name. These aliases will appear in the tabs and the title of the main window when opening a connection.
  
  These features ar fairly limited if you compare with a tool like Toad, which used to associate colors with connections (good feature!) or define custom fields. In addition the database user is not displayed in the SQL Developer interface, unless we add in the name of the connection...
  
  Do you know if there are plans to improve these features in future releases of SQL Developer?

  The last 3 days have been nerve wrecking for me. I am the owner of a Satellite L500 D and at the moment, I decided to connect it to an external monitor, to enjoy a better visual experience, until I have buy a desktop computer.

  Well, day 1, I had problems with the speed of the wireless connection (the laptop is related to the router via a wireless connection only). Physically, what I've done, it is simply connect the monitor to the laptop, while closing the lid, so it won't get in the way. And Yes, I had already checked the 'Status quo' feature in the desktop "when I close the lid of my laptop.

  I went to a speed of 30 Mbpps to love... 1 Mbpps, or even less, so that it becomes almost unbearable for surfing the web, let alone to download all the files. After calling my ISP support line and a subsequent visit by a technician (he's even changed the router), we were convinced that the problem lied in the router, or disruptions in the connections wireless neighbors, microwave ovens, cell phones, that sort of thing. I even thought that the problem had something to do with my wireless keyboard/mouse set that might interfere with the connection because it uses the same 2.4 Ghz band range.

  After spending a lot of time to ruin my head, I suddenly noticed how the speed would increase simply by opening the lid of the laptop. And the surprise... If I just lift the lid a bit (like 10 cm) above the keyboard, I hear a sound of 'connection' and therefore, the connection speed is always high.

  Have you ever had such an experience? Is the antenna (is it located anywhere in the keyboard?) of the adapter that stops whenever I close the lid? Is it possible to permanently program the computer to have the connection all the time?

  We speak/write here on laptops and computers laptops are designed for mobile use and all of the material placed in the laptop is also optimized for mobile use. It is logical that wireless antenna must be placed in the book part where it can get better WLAN signal. Because of this key WLAN antenna is placed around the screen. When you open the display WLAN antenna is best placed to pick up WLAN signal.

  If you want to use the laptop as the lace and desktop replacement by with closed side cover I recommend using connectivity LAN only or perhaps some external WLAN as WLAN USB stick antenna.

  I use my X 60 with an external monitor (without stand) and I would like to turn off the feature that puts the X 60 to sleep when I close the lid.  Is it possible to disable this feature?

  do not know what operating system used on but in windows 7: Control Panel, power on the left-click options choose what closing the lid, then choose when I close the lid, you want to choose do nothing.  There is a setting for the battery and the other to power.

  I think that's not possible. You can connect only on the laptop using the hardware switch!

  More why you close? You can use the internal display as a second monitor. I do the same thing with my mobile phone ;)

  Here are its features:

  • ' Simulate Signal ' block generates a Sawtooth signal with adjustable parameters - ampl, freq, offset of phase

  Yes, you can view layers and doesn't blindly!

  Select the Advanced Mode to display all controls.

  

  Then, when the controls are all showing:

  Check / check Show backdrop.

  Use: All the layers (or select a layer)

  Mode: behind.

  Pro Tip: make a smart object out of the layer before applying the filter, so it can be changed if you change your mind tomorrow, or next week or in five minutes.
