Qualcomm-atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dualband wireless network module is dying

I have a problem with the 802.11 wireless network module a/b/g/n dualband Qualcomm atheros - after a few hours of work my computer starts a fall connection for 5 to 30 seconds (I installed monitoring software). It is not question of modem or router from a connection wi - fi on my laptop works very well. I also tried turning off my Norton Insternet Security, but it does not solve the issue. Once I connected my pc to the router although eithernet past all the connection problems.

Question: what is the good replalcement for module of qualcomm-atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dualband wireless network? I can't figure out what model it is and qualcom seems to offer a different set of products now.

Hello, I had problems updating my Qualcomm Atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band Wireless Network driver Module. I looked as hard as I could to find out how to determine the number of chipset, but no cigar. I even took a peek inside my computer to see if I could find something, but that was of no use. The Atheros Wireless Diagnostics utility tells me I have the wrong driver installed (there is 99.9% chance it was my fault). Here is a part of the diagnosis result: installation of the test pilot

    Hello:

I have compressed upward and attach the file atheros.cz that you need (under attachments below).

Note that it is only good for W8 and older, so it may not work on W10.

I also read a post from another Member of the forum, which wants to install W10 where MS W10 compatibility checker reports that the wireless card you have is not supported.

So... try this and if it works, unfortunately, you will need to get a new wireless card.  I suggest you only watch on maps wireless dual band usb external.

Download and uncompress the file that I attached to his record.

Go to Device Manager and click on the network controller needing drivers.

Click the driver tab.  Click on set to update driver.  Select her browse my computer for driver software option and navigate to the driver folder, that you unzipped.

Make sure that the include subfolders is selected and see if the pilot goes like this.

The hardware ID you posted is present in the driver installation information file.

    Hello

I have a laptop HP 14 which is currently used for academic purposes. However, at the school, the WiFi is dual band, and so I can't connect.  At the moment I have a QCA9565 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi adapter and I am aware that is not double band. So is it possible to replace the current single band with a dual band adapter? Is it is possible to replace the card, then you have suggestions of what to buy and how to install the product in my book. If there is a free alternative, please keep me informed.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello

    You are the very welcome.

I bought an Actiontec Powerline adapter. It was about 50,00 USD.

Everything will work. Dear sound usually gives a higher flow.

You don't have to uninstall the card wireless on your PC.

Really easy to implement. Plug an adapter into the wall socket close to router. The provided plug ethernet cable into the port on the router and the port on the wall adapter. Repeat the process by plugging it to the wall adapter near your PC. Connect the ethernet cable supplied to the wall jack and the ethernet port on the PC.

    You're good to go.

  • ProBook 440 G1 continually lose Qualcomm Atheros WLAN connection

    Hello world

I just bought the HP ProBook 440 G1 free BACK. I have intalled Windows Pro 8.1 and installed divers downloaded directly from the center of Support of HP in this link. For the wireless drivers, I realized that the I have the QCA9565 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter and also Qualcomm-Atheros Bluetooth 4.0 QCA9565 adapter, so I downloaded the latest drivers from here (1.00) and here (11.0.752.0) respectively.

In a few minutes using the laptop, I noticed a steady decline in my internet connection. I checked my router and everything will, work well with other gadgets. So I searched the Internet and found the same problem for other models. However, here and here official HP solutions, apply is not for my Qualcomm-Atheros. I even tried to install the drivers updated in these solutions, but nothing is happening because they are specifically desgned for the Mediatek combo (Ralink).

Finally, you also you know that I've updated the BIOS with the latest version (01.20 REV. (A). can someone help me solve this problem please?

If the research on mine, I found many new versions of the driver that is compatible with my QCA9565 WiFi and Bluetooth component as listed by the official support from HP.

    I started with this:

    • [Questions] Official HP 10.0.0.270 (5 December 2013) here
    • [Questions] Official HP 10.0.0.270 (17 February 2014) here

But my problem has not been resolved, so I tried unninstalling those and the installation of these:

    • [Problems less] Bundled WiFi and Bluetooth for AR9485 10.0.0.276 (12 December 2013) here
    • [Much less questions] AR9485 10.0.0.287 (March 25, 2014) here
    • QCA9565 10.0.0.297 (July 22, 2014) here

With the latest driver I have no problem at all, everything works fine. I suggest you download and install the bundle complete 276 (for divers bluetooth too) and then just update to 297 driver through Device Manager.

I hope this solution helps someone else; because HP does not have any solution at all.

  • Qualcomm Atheros AR9485 limited connection and cannot access network problems

    Qualcomm Atheros 802 AR9485. 11 b | g | n WiFi adapter

When I first my laptop HP 019WM-14N, everything was fine, but after that I have upgraded to windows 8.1 (from Windows 8) I started having problems to stay connected to the wifi.    I get a "limited connection" that would be clear me off and auto-reconnect causing delays and a page "can't access the network.    Pilot was: 03/05/13 3.0.1.55.

Then there was an update of the windows updated the driver to 25/11/2013 10.0.0.74 and that's when things are worst.   Now he dump me off sometimes every two minutes and sometimes it will not be for an hour or more.  It is very random, but when things go wrong, it does nothing and I have to connect it to our wired to work around.

Today, I deleted the driver I got from 10.0.0.74 11/2013 and rebooted to reinstsall the orignial driver (3.0.1.155 5/3/13), but things are even worse now.   I deposited 3 times just typing this.

Is this a compatibility issue with the Atheros AR9485 and Windows 8.1?   What is the solution?

Please uninstall all the drivers of the QCA9000 series and try this Driver Qualcomm Atheros Wireless LAN QCA9000 series.

  • Windows WiFi 8 HP 2000-2b43dx guard abandon the Qualcomm-Atheros connection

I just got a laptop HP 2000-2b43dx last month and had no problem with the connection before fall, but here for the past week or so she did it a lot. It starts to get boring, that's why I'm here.

If I close my laptop and open it again it will be disconnected and I have to reconnect manually even if I have the settings in automatic mode.
And every now and then it disconnects randomly, and I have to reconnect again. It's really annoying when you try to play a game and you get kicked out of a game because of that.

I've updated the network driver and the only thing that helped was able to reconnect faster...
My old laptop has never had this problem and it only recently started to do a few weeks back.

I have an AR9485 of Qualcomm Atheros 802.11b/g/n WiFi Adapter.

  • Atheros 802.11 Driver does not not on HP Pavilion a6857c desktop PC

    Hello

I have a strange problem with my capacity wireless on my computer. Initially, I had connected my computer to my WiFi with no problems, then a while later, start the computer, the wireless wouldn't connect. When I looked for the driver (Atheros 802.11 a/b/g/n dual band Wireless Network Module), it had disappeared from everywhere: network pilots, research, etc.. I have to restart the computer several times until the pilot showed once again and I was able to use the wireless.

Now, the pilot has disappeared completely. I looked all over my computer and cannot locate. My page says wireless network is not available. Even after several re - start, he disappeared, and I can't access my WiFi. I tried to download from the HP site and get the message "your system does not meet the minimum requirements for this update. Update has been canceled. (9996) ' I've even used the tool directly on the site of Atheros, and it will scan the computer and says nothing about the driver is missing or defective; It is there just not on the list.

Then I did the HP system recovery to reinstall the Atheros driver, but he still isn't where on my computer and wireless capability vanished. I'm at a total loss about what to do next. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you.

I use Windows 8; my laptop is a Pavilion dv6 - 3284ca; my wifi adapter is qualcomm, atheros AR9285 802.11b/g/n wifi adapt

Let me know if you need more information.

You can try a USB wireless adapter. If it works, which will restrict the cause root. If it doesn't, it will restrict the issue to a conclusion. There is not a lot of troubleshooting on the left that you don't want to, so I think that an adapter is a good idea.

    Thank you

Laptops are as you order them or buy them as ready to ship models. They are not generally considered to be extensible to all. You can switch from desktop computers in general as much as the platform of the motherboard and BIOS allow.

Not as far as I know, HP makes no recommendataions on laptops and usb adapters.

Just do a search online with Googl, Bing or your search engine favoriteb for major brands such as ASUS, Linksys and Netgear. Check the reviews of the candidates you find and make sure they include drivers for the operating system that you have in your laptop. NewEgg.com is a good website to csome comparison shopping.

IF you want wifi nextgen features in the usb adapter and the chance to have a router nextgen with 802.11ac capacity of 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz, then looking for the one that many people recommend.
