  • Calculation of the time wall of a SQL query.

    Hello

    While trying to discover the time of running a SQL query (wall time) I read in one place that CPU_TIME/EXECUTIONS of v$ SQLAREA, is the precise runtime we can come close to.

    I can't use "set timing on ' or 'DBMS_UTILITY. GET_TIME' that I need to extract the execution time of the story because the query will be drawn to an end, and I need to know how long it took to DB level and compare it with the end time before calculating the % of time used in the DB level total.

    Maybe another way to track sessions and the user TKPORPOF but now I donot want to take the help of the ADMINISTRATOR at this initial stage.

    Is CPU_TIME/EXECUTIONS of v$ SQLAREA where (SQL_TEXT) AS "SELECT... OF... %'; should be enough?

    user2925917, yes as Brian already answered your understanding as posted above seems correct.  Except in the case where there has been only a running query you will download an average time.  The problem with averages is that one or two unusual executions that can skew the average, but in most cases the average will be probably fairly accurate.

  • How can I download software Mac on a PC

    Hello

    I recently had a conversation with an Adobe to live agent with a query regarding software download Mac on my PC at work.

    I explained that this was due to my speed internet House being extremely slow and internet high speed of my work being extremely fast.

    He explained that I could not do that.

    However, when I received my follow-up e-mail, it contained the sentence: "-cx wants to download and install CC on different computers (refusal)"-cx is good to go now ".

    This isn't what I was trying to do. The software is download at work, taken from the House and installed on my Mac.

    I have a feeling that she now had to think that I tried to do something untoward and digress the.

    So, is it actually possible to do so without bringing my Mac physically in my office working?

  • Windows Media 11 cut the DVD video

    I had problems with DVD playback in Media Player so I uninstalled reinstalled 11 10 and 11 again. I can watch DVDs, but it cuts off the right side of the video. I looked at all the settings and everything seems fine. I'm a regular reader and it works very well with it, but I like better the resolution in Windows Media.

    How can I solve this problem?

    I find this on my own. Remove all codecs, and use only one. I use Windows Essentials Codec Pack. Found here: http://download.cnet.com/1770-20_4-0.html?tag=mncol%3Bsort%3Bp&query=codecs&searchtype=downloads&filter=platform%3DWindows&filterName=platform%3DWindows&sort=popularity+asc&rpp=10

  • awrrpti script - awr report fails

    Friends...

    OS: Linux

    DB: 11 GR 2

    I'm trying to solve this riddle, supposed to be a simple fix but not able to finish it...

    We run awrrpti script to generate AWR report for the whole day. What I do is ask DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT and get the snapshot min (first) and max (last) of the day. Then I fed that range from snap_id to awrrpti script to generate AWR report all day to single instance.

    It works perfectly well, but if instance gets restarted during the day then my approach above does not work and AWR report generation fails.

    Current approach:

    1. the DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT query

    2. download MIN (snap_id), MAX (snap_id) for the day

    3. power #2 to awrrpti via bind variable

    4 generate the unique HTML report for the instance

    Query used to collect the id of component software snap-in min/max:

    Select min (snap_id), max (snap_id)

    Of

    (select snap_id, begin_interval_time, end_interval_time

    of dba_hist_snapshot

    where begin_interval_time > = trunc(sysdate-1)

    and being_intreval_time < = trunc(sysdate-1+23/24)

    );

    Tips to avoid failures of AWR report generation if instance gets restarted?

    How to go to the entry below in simple sql? It is possible to start «WITH max_startup...» "in the sql script?

    Yes, there is no problem. Is it just another way to write the query

    But you can use this one instead:

    SELECT MIN(dhs.snap_id) min_snap_id, MAX(dhs.snap_id) max_snap_id
    FROM DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT dhs,
    (SELECT MAX(startup_time) max_startup_time FROM DBA_HIST_SNAPSHOT) mst
    where dhs.startup_time = mst.max_startup_time
    and begin_interval_time >= trunc(SYSDATE-1)
    and begin_interval_time <= trunc(sysdate-1+23/24)
    ;

    again will try, test and update this blog

  • VERY URGENT how to exclude the tag Span of the CSV

    Hi guys I have a scenario where I put colors on values in columns, so I use span tag in sql query.when I download reporting in html of its fine. But when I download to CSV the span tag comes with the value of the column. How to avoid the it.i don't want no tag span in CSV.

    Published by: Robertson das Sep 29, 2011 12:54 AM

    Sorry - I've updated my first answer before you saw the second idea:

    Put the: audit of the QUERY in the query, so if CSV does not include the period.

    It should work. I guess you have different colors by column based on the value? If you only need two States - color background or not, then you can use the option to highlight the interactive report.

  • Turning an update on a forall update statement

    Hello
    We use the Oracle 11.1

    This update will update more 5 million rows in a table. How can I turn this into a FORALL update? I read the online example. I know that I need to define an array of type table. I know I need to set the cursor to the table to go. My knowledge of the tables in use with the sliders is low. It's probably the simplest example to use FORALL on. I still cannot. Can anyone help? Sorry about that.

    Is it possible to perform a search and then PUT all the found files (download files from search results)?

    I around 255 files in my site updated occasionally to an asset from the library and I can't understand an easy way to download these files on the server without doing it manually on a basis of individual records.

    Any ideas?

    I need to stop a download of the query, that I thought a stand-alone application but turns require a higher level (FCPX) as a 'parent' and I do not have that, or I want to buy it.

    Motion IS a stand-alone application. It is mainly designed to make effects for Final Cut Pro X, but it is not necessary to have with FCPX nor is it necessary to have FCPX to create projects for other purposes. When you open the query, simply select project of work outside the FCPX motion. You can save regular projects of Motion anywhere on your system.

  • Call in the report for PDF download query does nothing

    I am trying to download a PDF report based on 2 queries. Each query has a where clause clause with values taken from the page elements. I installed Publisher OBI 11.1.1.5 and used the term of Publisher 11.1.1.5 OBI plug-in to create the RTF file that I downloaded then the components Shared-> presentation of the State.

    I created a new button in the region to call the report query. However, whenever I click on the button to download the PDF file, nothing happens. I looked at the debug and the button seems to be running OK, except that nothing happens.

    The APEX of BOIP configuration works since I was able to have BOIP generate another report that do not use the predefined query. In other words, parts of reports including the attributes defined print "allow printing of the report = Yes" and 'layout of report = report default layout' work very well. Reports based on the query predefined and launched with a button in the region do nothing.

    Environment: APEX 4.1, DB 11.2.0.2, BOIP 11.1.1.5

    Any contributions to this PDF issue is greatly appreciated.

    Thank you
    Reid

    Hello Reid,

    Thanks for reporting back!

    It now works with a button linked to printing the report query URL. This method was not working before because when I deleted/recreated the presentation of the report, the layout of request report report had to "use generic Report Layout. When I changed the presentation of the report query to the name of the correct report layout, button link to the print URL worked as expected.

    He therefore finally brought its fruits check attributes...

    Still, he doesn't when I create a button with action = 'Download printable report Query'. I tried several times, but couldn't make it work. It seems that it is a bug, but I can't say for sure.

    It should work as long as you have configured the report query according to the needs and assured the session state is included.

    Go ahead rather than use the with action = "Download the printable report query", I'll use a button with Action is "Redirection of URL" where the URL is the URL for the report query printing.

    In this case, my guess would be the session state, because you will always she, when redirecting to the session, and the report query seems to agree.

  • Downloading and querying a mdb file

    Hi, I was wondering if it was possible for the download of a mdb file and the analysis to produce a PDF through CF...

    I know that I need for this purpose to have a connection without dsn to this file to begin with.
    I tried:

    <cfif isdefined("form.fileData")>
          <cfscript>
                hello = FileUpload("C:\inetpub\wwwroot\cvt\","form.fileData","application/msaccess","MakeUnique");
          </cfscript>
          <cfdump var="#hello#">
    <cfscript>

    classLoader = createObject("java", "java.lang.Class");
    classLoader.forName("sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver");
    dm = createObject("java","java.sql.DriverManager");

    con = dm.getConnection("jdbc:odbc:DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)};Dbq=#hello.serverfile#;Uid=Admin;Pwd=somepwd;");

    st = con.createStatement();
    rs = st.ExecuteQuery("Select * FROM tblbarcode");
    q = createObject("java", "coldfusion.sql.QueryTable").init(rs);
    //the query is stored in the variable q
    </cfscript>
          <cfquery name="GetExample" datasource="q" dbtype="query">
    Select        *
    From          tblbarcode
    </cfquery>
    <cfdump var="#GetExample#">

    <cfelse>
          <cfform name="myUpload" enctype="multipart/form-data">
                <cfinput type="file" name="fileData"><br>
                <cfinput type="submit" name="submit" value="Verzenden">
          </cfform>
    </cfif>

    and I get:

    No suitable driver not found Driver for = {Microsoft Access Driver (*. mdb)}; Dbq = stockwagen15.mdb; UID = Admin; Pwd = somepwd;

    If I change jdbc:odbc:DRIVER driver, I get

    [Microsoft] [ODBC driver manager] Data source name not found and no driver by default specified

    I also tried using a full path to the file, the same error...

    Found after one heck of a search... comes this driver access is otherwise spelled...

    {Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)} needs to be
    {Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb, *.accdb)}

    And you need to mind the SPACE after the comma, otherwise it's a no-go...
