query return different values

Hi all

We have EBS 11.5.10.2 installed on solaris

The Apps schema owns all objects and public synonyms created for all objects in the apps schema.

now when I run the query of applications such as:

Select * from PA_REP_UTIL_ORG_GE_V;

get the error:

ERROR on line 1:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kksfbc-analysis-infinite-loop],.
[[0xFFFFFFFF7C7432B8], [] [] [], [], [],]

Whereas, where sys is the same mark. She gives the value...

also raised a SR with oracle and they said to apply a patch... but the question remains...

Please notify

Kai

The request that we have in the crontab is given below. We reel to a sql and run the sql.

Select 'Edit'. object_type | » '|| owner: '. ' || object_name |' compile;' of
DBA_OBJECTS where object_name in (d_name select do.name)
of sys.obj$, sys.dependency$, sys.obj$ po
where P_OBJ #= po.obj #(+)
and D_OBJ #= do.obj #.
and do.status = 1
and po.status = 1
(and po.stime! = p_timestamp);

  • reload the page when SQL query returns a value

    Hello world

    the title of this discussion may seem strange, but I'll try to explain why I need this:

    A user has the ability to connect on my APEX application. There are several tabs in my application that are visible only if a certain SQL statement returns a value which is not the case by default. The user has also the ability to download a file that is transferred to an external system that analyzes the file and writes the data in the database. During this writing process - which may take several minutes - conditions for some of the tabs to show the will becomes real (-> the query will return a value). When the user refreshes the page manually, the tabs will be displayed. However, I want the tabs will appear automatically when the condition is met.

    Is it possible to refresh the page as soon as the query returns a value? It is perhaps possible to check it on the client side and trigger a refresh of the page when the condition is met. It would be even better if only the tabset has been updated, but refreshing the full page is fine as well.

    Thank you!

    Here is an overview of how it can be done

    This is possible thanks to a dynamic action being performed on a timer.

    View default tabs and dynamic action hide them on loading the page if they are not to be considered

    Create a dynamic action that will execute your query every 5 seconds or more

    If the query returns data, you can use the dynamic action to show your tabs using javascript

    I recommend you post your declaration in the {} code tags (without the spaces) so that we can actually read.

    You are absolutely positive that nothing has changed on the data between when you run in the morning and in the afternoon?

  • SQL query return different result 11 GR 1 material and GR 11, 2

    Please tell us what could be the reason for the behaviour of offset lines thie.

    Thank you

    Piesset

    I think it is probably a bug in 11.1.0.7 (and possibly other versions), I get the same results as your 11.2.0.4 9.2.0.7, 10.2.0.3 and 11.2.0.3, and this is the result, I expect.

    Your not in the paragraph is equivalent to:

    SELECT *.

    OF tab_main, tab_sub

    WHERE tab_main.sos = tab_sub.sos (+) AND

    tab_main. Contract = tab_sub.contract (+) and

    tab_main. Contract <> 1;

    Since you have null values in tab_main.contract they are lost by the predicate since null = value is never true (or false).

  • Return only the columns with different values.

    Hi all

    I am trying to solve a seemingly trivial problem but can't seem to get any clear answer anywhere in any forum. Consider a single table with 5 columns and only two lines:
    row_id           first_name         last_name        age            gender
    1                    John                  doe               27             M
    1                    Jane                  doe               27              F
    Assume that there is no primary key or any other constraint. Also assume that there are only and only two lines of this table. So I need basically a query that, overall above lines, would return first name and sex, because they are only different columns in two lines, as well as their values. Even if I can get sort of column names that are different and that would be enough that I can easily access the values later. It is also important to remember that I may not know the names of the columns in the columns, so basically, somehow, I use user_tab_columns in the process.

    Any help appreciated.

    The exact release could be just a varchar variable that lists all the columns that have different values with each column name separated by commas. We'll call the query you want as a QUERY. So, if I do something like

    In this case:

    SELECT     RTRIM ( DECODE (a.row_id,     b.row_id,     NULL, 'row_id,')     ||

    DIFFERENT_COLUMNS
    ---------------------------------------
    first_name,gender

    This assumes that you have really a table, then you can use ROWID to distinguish the lines, since there is no primary key.
    If this isn't the case, you first assign ROW_NUMBER in a subquery.

  • Compare multiple columns and return a different value

    I have more access to excel and I'm running my previous workflow in numbers of duplication of issues.

    I have a worksheet when a sheet with all my power tools.  On the "Power Tools" sheet I have columns for the brand, Type, model, purchase date, etc...  An example of this would be: pass a "DEWALT", "Jackhammer" Col B, Col C "DCD995M2" and so on.

    I have a second sheet in the same document which is my front end if you want.  I wanted to have selections for this dynamic drop-down list but it seems it is not possible without scripts, but is not the immediate question yet I'm the mention the case where someone knows a good fix.  The second sheet "Sorting Test", I created manually drop-down boxes, one in column A of the brand and the other in column B for Type.  I'll choose the brand and type and I want numbers autofill the rest of this line based on these two selections.

    Example:

    In the 'Sort Test' sheet I select DEWALT in column A and I select the drill in column B and I want DCD995M2 is displayed in column C and the purchase date in column D and so on.

    Excel in it would be a game table or something similar.  So far every site and search google only gave a lot of people who try to do VLOOKUP or correspond to errors, but I've really met anyone corresponding to two distinct cells from two separate columns and return data from this same line a match was found on.

    I must also mention I'm really trying to avoid adding a hidden line that combines some of these but I know it's the most noticeable work around.

    Basically, I want to match two selections separated against two separate columns, and when it finds the match, I want it returns a different value of this corresponding line how I got everything just copy this formula on adjacent cells and simply adjust to the column in the same row matched.

    I know that I shouldn't do this on separate sheets, but it's just a choice that I made a point of design.

    Any help would be appreciated, because I'm trying to really get the most out of the numbers, especially with how it syncs between desktop and mobile and I have more access to Excel.

    You can it as what you do and why?  This will help us understand what drives the design.  Leave out how to solve the problem,

    also post screenshots can be very useful

  • Query must return the values null

    Hi once again, everything

    The query below should return zero values for the date, but instead it brings back each transaction in the table, any ideas why?

    AND CID.REFERENCE_ACCOUNT = GLC .CODE_COMBINATION_ID;

    Yes. It's true. You must use TO_DATE to convert a string to a date and you must use TO_CHAR to convert a date into a string.

  • Function return undefined values

    My function returns undefined values. It seems that the return of the function statement is executed before the database is queried and values are assigned to variables. If I do an alert within the loop for () I get the correct values from the database, but these values are not affected before excecuting the return statement function. How can I do this differently?

    function getColumnNames(table){
        var rs1, rs2, rs3, rs4, rs5;
        db.transaction(function (tx) {
            tx.executeSql("SELECT * FROM schema WHERE table_name=?",[table], function(ax, results){
                var size = results.rows.length, i;
                var item;
                for (i = 0; i < size; i++){
                    item = results.rows.item(i);
                    rs1 = item.col1;
                    rs2 = item.col2;
                    rs3 = item.col3;
                    rs4 = item.col4;
                    rs5 = item.col5;
                                    alert(rs1); //correct value is returned here
                }
            });
        });
        return [rs1, rs2, rs3, rs4, rs5];
    }

    Hey Fabian,.

    You are quite correct that the return statement is executed before the database returns the results. There are ongoing asynchronous calls. You can set breakpoints in JavaScript code to see what is happening. You can correct the problem by using function callbacks. I edited your code below to use the callback functions - there might be a few typos, but the general approach should be wooded.

    function getColumnNames(table, callback){
        var rs1, rs2, rs3, rs4, rs5;
        db.transaction(function (tx) {
            tx.executeSql("SELECT * FROM schema WHERE table_name=?",[table], function(ax, results){
                var size = results.rows.length, i;
                var item;
                for (i = 0; i < size; i++){
                    item = results.rows.item(i);
                    rs1 = item.col1;
                    rs2 = item.col2;
                    rs3 = item.col3;
                    rs4 = item.col4;
                    rs5 = item.col5;
                        alert(rs5); //correct values are being returned
                    callback([rs1, rs2, rs3, rs4, rs5]);
                }
            });
        });
    }

    // example of how to call getColumnNames with callback
    getColumnNames('importantTable', function (result)
    {
        console.log(result);
    });

    // alternative version
    function onCallback(result)
    {
        console.log(result);
    }

    getColumnNames('importantTable', onCallback);

    I hope this helps.

    See you soon,.

    If you look at the output above, it dates back in the min_dt_from_grp column.

    MY question is if the analytical function calculates for a particular/set group, which is by statute and for what min (date_from) partition is 25-apr-2007 for the GROUP H (Status column), then why I have different values returned by the query above in the min_dt_from_grp column.

    Hello

    Because you have specified an ORDER BY clause for the analytical function. In doing so, you calculate the rows on a window. Since you have not specified a windowing clause, the default applies:

    RANGE BETWEEN UNBOUNDED PRECEDING AND CURRENT ROW

  • Gauss hypergeometric function does not return a value

    I need evaluate the Gauss hypergeometric function (mathematics > elementary > hypergeometric functions > Function.vi Gauss) for one of the following constants:

    a = 11/6

    b = 1/6

    c = 5/6

    for different values of x, all of which are negative.  A value of x is - 4.  When I run a VI with this function, it returns NAN.  I don't know what is current as the help file says the function is set to leave Neg. infinite to 1.  A condition is placed above being defined more precisely to 1 which I'm not interested.

    We used a script MATLAB Labview node to calculate these values successfully.  I know that some other programs can only calculate the function for | x |< 1,="" but="" the="" help="" file="" in="" labview="" claims="" it="" doesn't="" have="" this="" limitation="" as="" is="" the="" case="" with="" matlab.=""  can="" anyone="" else="" confirms="" this="" problem="" or="" am="" i="" just="" overlooking="">

    Also, it would be useful to check with Mathematica to verify that I did stupid miscalculation...

    Third time is a charm.

  • Different values of Excitation in the same spot

    Hello

    I am trying to acquire signals of pressure two sensors of pressure simultaneously using DAQ Assistant. I use an Ethernet NI DAQ with the NI 9237 Module chassis. One of the transducers requires a voltage of 10 vdc, while the other transducer requires 5 vdc excitation. I created a task DAQ Assistant with two channels (one for each transducer). When I run the VI, it returns the following error:

    Error-200257 occurred to the DAQ Assistant

    Possible reasons:

    Property of excitement must be the same for the related physical channels.

    Refer to the documentation for more information on the definition of excitement through the related physical channels.

    Conflicting properties

    Property: AI. Excit.Src
    Value: Internal

    Property: AI. Excit.Val
    Value: 10.0

    Channel name: Pressure_1

    It looks like using different excitations causing the problem. Can you please help me solve this problem in order to acquire simultaneous action of the two sensors and provide the necessary excitement for each of them.

    Aaron_W

    Thank you for your response. Based on what you posted and I expected different values of excitement are at the origin of the problem. However, I am always looking for another solution instead of buying an additional module because it is quite expensive for a student like me.

  • Add a string when the query returns all records

    DB version: 11.2

    create table t (empname varchar2 (25), salary number, varchar2 (20) months, number of over_time);

    insert into values t ('JOHN', 2000, "NOVEMBER2014", 0);

    insert into values t ('KATE', 2000, "NOVEMBER2014", 300);

    insert into values t ('HANS', 5000, "NOVEMBER2014", 100);

    insert into values t ("KRISHNA", 2500, "NOVEMBER2014", 0);

    insert into values t ("SIEW", 3000, "NOVEMBER2014", 0);

    commit;

    SQL > select * from t;

    EMPNAME MONTHS SALARY OVER_TIME

    ------------------------- ---------- -------------------- ----------

    JOHN 2000 NOVEMBER2014 0

    KATE 2000 NOVEMBER2014 300

    HANS 5000 NOVEMBER2014 100

    KRISHNA 2500 NOVEMBER2014 0

    SIEW 3000 NOVEMBER2014 0

    SQL > select * from t where MONTH = 'NOVEMBER2014' and OVER_TIME! = 0 ;

    EMPNAME MONTHS SALARY OVER_TIME

    ------------------------- ---------- -------------------- ----------

    KATE 2000 NOVEMBER2014 300

    HANS 5000 NOVEMBER2014 100

    What I need is:

    If the query above returns at least one record, it should display the line ' Yes. We have one or more employees who worked overtime in November2014'

    before the documents are printed

    Thus, the expected production is

    Yes. We have one or more employees who worked overtime at the November2014

    EMPNAME MONTHS SALARY OVER_TIME

    ------------------------- ---------- -------------------- ----------

    KATE 2000 NOVEMBER2014 300

    HANS 5000 NOVEMBER2014 100

    If the query returns no records then usual 'no rows selected' isn't enough

    Lothar G.f. says:

    In fact, sql * more is no good tool for use considered.

    Really?  It may be a good reporting tool if you learn to use it as such...

    for example

    SQL > ttitle left 'Yes. We have one or more employees who worked overtime in November2014.
    SQL > select * from emp where empno = 1234;

    no selected line

    SQL > select * from emp where empno = 7788;

    Yes. We have one or more employees who worked overtime at the November2014
    EMPNO, ENAME, JOB HIREDATE DEPTNO COMM SAL MGR
    ---------- ---------- --------- ---------- -------------------- ---------- ---------- ----------
    7788, SCOTT, ANALYST, 7566 19 APRIL 1987 00:00:00 3000 20

    This is just a basic example.  It is possible to get SQL * more to ask for the required criteria and that the title could adjust according to this criterion, as well as the query building on it also.

    However, the OP did not specify SQL * as the reporting tool, so there is little interest providing a complete solution which, until they specify what user interface that they are actually using.
