query time-out

Hello
Oracle version: 8.1.7.4
I run DBMS_STATS. GATHER_SCHEMA_STATS (ownname = > 'TOM') and now I need the time between one table and another.

for example in dba_tables I have:
TABLE_NAME          LAST_ANALYZED
TAB1               2012/10/01 18:00:00
TAB2               2012/10/01 19:00:00
TAB3               2012/10/01 19:30:00
TAB4               2012/10/01 19:40:20
...........................................
...........................................
I want to get this result:
TABLE_NAME_FIRST     TABLE_NAME_SECOND               ELAPSED_TIME
TAB1                    TAB2                         1 h
TAB2                    TAB3                         30 min
TAB3                    TAB4                         10 min - 20 sec.
How can anyone I write this query?

Thanks in advance!

I just checked again the 8i documentation:

http://docs.Oracle.com/CD/A87860_01/doc/server.817/a85397/function.htm#88260

Note: This function is limited to use with the analytical functions. It only accepts numbers as arguments and returns the interval literals.

Then remove it and work directly on the difference in date to extract the days, hours, minutes, etc.

  • SQL query time-out

    Hello Experts,

I received 2 days with a performance thing, but no luck.

We have a custom user who runs specific sqls in an instance both Test and Prod. Prod its < 1 sec for each race to test everything taking more than 5 seconds. To do this, we have created a trigger to get the sqls. But I did not how to go further and compare things with env Prod.

While the generation to explain the plan gives

    SQL > SELECT * FROM TABLE (dbms_xplan.display_cursor ('cavskqs3j74qr'));

    PLAN_TABLE_OUTPUT
    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    SQL_ID, cavskqs3j74qr, number of children 0

    begin XXINT_INV_ITEM_IMPORT.check_item (i_version_number = >: i_version_numb)
    o_return_message = >: o_return_message); end;

    NOTE: cannot fetch SQL_ID plan: cavskqs3j74qr, CHILD_NUMBER: 0
    Check the value of SQL_ID and CHILD_NUMBER;
It could also be that the plan is no longer in the cursor cache (check v$ sql_plan)

    11 selected lines.

You will appreciate if someone helps me on the same?

    Thank you

    Prabhat.

Find out what is in: XXINT_INV_ITEM_IMPORT.check_item

It is a function or a procedure or package, and inside, is the statement that goes wrong.

It is the statement that you will need the execution plan of.

If you have the active trigger (both on the prod and UN-made) you will have a lot of TRC files. This TRC file should mention somewhere

    XXINT_INV_ITEM_IMPORT.check_item

Then you TKPROF this trace file, then you should be able to find higher education, even though the total runs only 5 seconds.

It seems to be a time-out on this query.  My software is located 20 minutes for a query.  MS SQL server is set to unlimited for remote queries (we did it to help isolate the timeout).  So, I guess the wait time that is happening at the level of ODBC driver.  Someone has all understand how to solve this problem?

  • Error time-out in the SOA BPEL process

    Hello

I just started using SOA Suite. My first project is a simple process, initialized by querying the database for the new records. This documents should be addressed to the competent authority by electronic mail. But anyway ends place blamed with this error:

    Anomaly of the non-recoverable system:
Waiting for reply has expired. The conversation id is 1% 401312896230. Please check the detail process instance.

    WLS LOG:

I get emails despite the error. But the records in the database are not removed after their reading that I put in the db adapter Setup Wizard, so my e-mail client is spammed with the same messages all the time.

    Any advice will be appreciated.

In step 6 of the wizard configuration of adapter, you specify the primary key correctly? And also did you see any error message in the soa server diagnostic log file?

And also, when querying the database; by default, the interface of the BPEL would be one-way unless you check the option in step 4 of the Setup Wizard that is the synchronous post to BPEL.

If you check this option, your BPEL interface would be come synchronous, and if you do a lot of things in the BPEL flow, there is a chance that the customer gets

the time-out waiting for the answer.

    Thank you

  • How to change the time-out settings in Analytic Provider Services...

... or how disable automatic lack of coincidence between APS and essbase Server (using XMLA interface).

    First a brief summary:

I already spoke with the support of Bissantz regarding this issue and the recommended increase me APS time-out settings or disable automatic lack of coincidence between APS and essbase server after each query.

Yes, they are already set by default, but you can increase them if you wish.

  • How to adjust the time-out setting?

I'm in a certain OBIEE in Firefox which, by nature, do not take a long time to run. One of my local Technical Support people suggested increase Firefox's timeout setting (he showed me how to do this once, but I didn't write it). Can you provide instructions written (or annotated images of the screen), please?

Alright. There are two ways to do this. You can extend your timeout, or you can completely disable timeout. Depending on how you are using firefox, can be useful. If you want to extend your time-out, type about: config in your search bar on the top. From there, need you a list of preferences. There is a search bar. Type "Timeout" in there. The top two are disable the time-out and the 'County timeout'. If you want to disable the timeout, simply double-click the "enabletimeout" on the top. This will change the false value. If you want to change the value of how long it takes to timeout, double-click on the "CountTimeout" and type in your new value. If this is not sensible, see screenshots.

    Have a great day!

  • Stor.E ALU 2s no time-out

    Hello
I have several Toshiba USB hard drives, that I use as storage media with a cable TV box.
Type DTP110 turns off after a few minutes if you do not use.
Type Stor.E ALU 2s continues to operate. There is no point when not in use.
Desturbing more however is the squeaking noise when the box is turned off, which cuts the power of the forced HD.
I sent a request for Toshiba if there is a tool to set the time-out, no response.
    Anyone know a solution?

    See you soon,.
    kyriako.

    Hello

I don't have a solution for you, but I may be able to enlighten us.
It is likely that the hard drive does not meet the host power management controls.
I don't think it's possible to solve by any other piece of software, unless it's an update of the firmware.
If you want you can chech in running a modern Linux host and attaching this player.
Run the drives under Gnome application and try to read the SMART attributes and / or request a counters.

The results it will show the way.
Success at the point of Linux to a kind of incompatibility between the HARD drive and your device.
Same result in Linux shows that the HARD drive does not respond to these common commands and there is not much to do about it.

  • error message "kauth resolver external time out."

    Hello

Pay my iMac (21.5 inch, end of 2013, 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor) bought with Maverick, I went successively to Yosemite and then to El captain. And since then, I have a problem starting not to power: the progress bar stuck at 60%. Start-up in Verbose mode, I get the message "kauth resolver external time out."

The only solution is to "turn off, is dry, and tension to under 30." This second time under tension, the mac restarts. A solution that is not terrible.

I used OnyX, but no verification has failed to solve the problem, everything looks ok.
Who has a solution pour troubleshoot this problem?

    Thank you for your help.

I too have this problem sporadically with some of our iMacs us upgrades 10.11.3 (from 10.10).  By chance are your iMacs have records of merger?

  • A time-out of the finite queue of wiring allows parallelism?

I have several loops (11) all running in parallel, set up with a producer--> several consumer-> multiple consumer architecture.

In each of the loops of consumer, I wired the values of time-out on the order of 1 second each of the vi "remove item" which feed on each loop. However, the overall performance of all vi is very slugish.  I have no expectation s vi in the loops of consumer, I guess the time queue supports this feature and allows labview to work its magic of parallelism. This hypothesis is correct?

For what it's worth, the loop of the producer bed synchronously large shared memory double paintings representing the acquired data and post processed in RT through virtualization (hypervisor). The loop of producer implements an element of expectation. This loop of producer distributes the data to the various queues, depending on the data type meta code embedded in the data of recevied. Then, first consumer level loops review data, update some PLC tags accordingly (via the datasocket connection) and, under certain conditions, send signals well formatted the next level consumer loops that manages storage PDM.

Each consumer has a dedicated queue and each of them are powered by several producers to the top of the pipe. I put vi waiting in each loop of consumer with a value of about half of the time waiting for data to arrive, and it did not help at all. However, the problem has been resolved by configuring the properties of execution of almost all under vi as priority of subroutine, returning with dedicated allocation of memory. I know it's basic stuff that I should have checked before hand, but everything works fine now.

    Thanks for the help anyway!

  • Time-out in the structure of the event

    Hello

I try to configure the time-out period in the structure of the 5s event using the loop, as shown in the picture as an attachment. The problem is that this time-out event occurred only when I code debugging and does not happen when I run the same without debugging. Any suggestions on this?

    Thank you!

OK, just use VISA Read to read the first three octets.  Then do another set VISA Read the number of bytes defined in dlen.  If the data does not, then you will get a VISA expiration time.
