  I'll show you why you _shouldnt_ think about buying an external drive to your machine.

  1. Yes, there are a LOT of external HD DVD readers, most of them are hollow connected USB
  2. you could connect it to your laptop, Yes and no doubt you could play HD DVD movies on your computer, but NOT in HD from your screen only supports a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels, but need to HD movies at least a resolution of 1280 x 720. Any sufficiently fast computer with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 or higher is able to display HD video, even if the computers are generally not advertised as such.
  3. No, you cannot connect directly to an HD TV, I mean why Don t you then buy a HD DVD player?
  4. Yes, you could, but you are quite familiar with the computer systems to exchange a player that is integrated into your machine? If you would really spend money for the reader, you should ask then spend the extra money for a technician. ;)

• G25-AV513: Questions about the use of this device

  I recently bought the Qosmio G25-AV513 but it was an open box, so I went back there and has been convinced, it was beautiful... so I started to set up at home and low and behold... bad pixels. So I went back and asked when would happen more... and I was told no more are regular and doubtful if they will be. But they have another oped model that runs like new...

  So the question I have. I'll buy this mainly for use high game... dunno if I should adjust for this model... now that I know, that a newer version came in the second week of January... but if it is not suitable for use games and audio/video I lost out on the G25.

  All recommendations... ?
  Do you think that this new model would be the next progression or and a good bet... or just different and not worth risking the g25 on.

  Of course, you have an American machine and the hardware configuration is not known to me. The fact is that each new unit has especially more recent pieces of material (more MB on graphics card) or more of RAM. Qosmio G20 G25 United States is a great unit. A friend of mine has one and the game works fine.

  In my view, you can compare your device with a newer version, but if you like playing games, in my opinion, the G25 is the right one.

• R200 - Question about screen external resolution 1920 * 1200

  My boss bought this screen and is a little disappointed because he cannot reach the maximum resolution of the screen tft 23 "1920 * 1200.   AFAIK on external display the maximum resolution is restriction of the graphics card and unfortunately there is nothing to do. The only thing you can do is check all the settings in the menu TFT. I'm pretty sure that you will find an option for switching of photo format.

• Question about two external monitors on Qosmio G30-161

  After having asked a similar question recently, I still don't know if this can work (and I don't want to buy an HDMI cable to DVI, if this does not work); so...

  Can I fix a TFT monitor (analog) output of the screen AND attach another TFT via HDMI (with a HDMI to DVI connector) connection and run the office during these two?

  I guess that the computer laptop screen will be disabled in this State, but this isn't a problem that I would be willing to go down with the lid of the laptop.

  All information around this type of installation will be most appreciated

  At first, I have to say that the Satellite P20 is portable very nice. I got it 3 years ago. I had Satellite P20 304 and I've updated the WLAN and drive optical drive with DVD-RAM.

  WIFI compatible cards for Notebooks this model are:
  PA3212U-4MPC (Agere 802. 11b) and
  PA3273U-2MPC (Atheros 802.11ab).

  According to the specification upgrade BT is not possible. Anyway can you please post exact description of model P20 (P20 - xxx).

  I have a class that accepts an object of type "Screen" (net.rim.device.api.ui.Screen) in its constructor. When I instantiate this class, I include a class that extends the screen as a parameter. For example:

• Question about the names of raw device in Solaris

  I finished installing the network infrastructure and software of RDBMS. I called CO. (GUI) to create groups of disks. ASMCA correctly entered the disk group, I created for OCR and voting disk during the Installation of the grid. Now it's time to create the Group of disks for data files.

  How Node2 correctly find the c1 700 GB * s3 shared slice for this installation of CARS? What is the point of setting ASM_DISSTRING anyway? I mean, we might be able to get the names of node2 slice on the ASMCA list. But it's the same range, appearing as a different name. There isn't, so no point in checking (the box in the GUI) it in any case.

  Fireup ASMCA and select both ASM instances and see how many 700 G LUNS are available.

  By the way really cares not ASM on the physical name of the disc... I recognize a drive in the disk header reading.

• Question about launching external web page or a file of Captivate 5.5

  I am trying to design an interactive Captivate 5.5 exercise for my students to use.  I want the student to be able to launch a file or a URL from within a page of Captivate 5.5 (I can already to that without any problems) and then... when the student completes by using this external file or URL, and the farm, I want the student to return to the same page of Captivate, repeat the process as many times as the user desires.  Is this possible?  The way it works now is that when the student closes the external page, Captivate will go to the next slide and I need to put in place a loop.  This does not seem a good way to do it so I'm looking for a better way and can't find anything in the documentation or online.

  Hi all

  We know most or all W510 or other models of ThinkPad with Conexant HD SmartAudio 20585 are affected by the poor quality of the sound.

  I have a few questions to ask, because I have not used or tried before external sound card.

  1 - is the external PCMCIA / its USB, card work with speakers inside the machine?

  2. If the built-in speaker can work with external PCMCIA / USB sound card, is the sound quality and volume of music being improved?

  (1) would like to know what you mean by work with the built-in speakers? u means you want to use an external sound card to drive the speaker built into the laptop?

  I want to say that external USB sound/PCMCIA card does the built-in speaker allows you only to speaker external drive.

  ACer laptop WIn 7 amd a8 quadruple-heart: when I log about 1 T external usb 2.0 or 3.0 hardrives or key USB 64 G,.
  Device Manager displays the devices, but they do not appear in the list of computers. I have other ext hardrives and the keys that operate without problem.
  I have to go to disk management and see that they appear but they do not have a drive label assigned.
  Then I have to give it a label letter manually it will appear under my computer.

  I tried the same features on a laptop HP with Windows 7 without all these questions.

  I have found a more permanent solution. At the command prompt, type Diskpart

  type

  automount

  If the answer says disabled, type

  automount enable

  Once I did, my USB keys have been recognized automatically when it is plugged.

  Why the setting has been disabled? who knows.

• M400 - Bluetooth is only recognized as a unknown usb device

  I have a problem with the bluetooth driver / stack. I just got my new M400 and the first time I have activated Bluetooth, battery Setup came - but Windows just said when Setup tried to install the driver that an error has occurred - nothing more.

  The Bluetooth ACPI works very well according to the Device Manager, but that's all. There are no other Bluetooth device list - but an unknown USB device. I compared the device with the id id in the inf file (which is located in the folder of installation of battery). This device is supposed to be the Bluetooth USB Controller-5 of TOSHIBA (USB\VID_0930 & PID_0508) but Windows does not recognize the device - and it is correctly listed in the inf file. Even if I try manually installing the Windows device requires just that the inf file contains no information about the device (which is not true).

  Any ideas what I can do? I already uninstalled the battery and installed the new version of the stack, but it makes no difference.

  I have it solved by myself. There is a defect in the file INF from Toshiba. From the beginning, it lists only Chicago as a compatible Windows version and windows compatibility control is a.

  If you change the string from Chicago to Signature = ' $Windows NT$ ' and out of the chain of compatibility that it all works very well. Unpack the battery Bluetooth to a folder, so just go to 2KXP/Windows/Inf and edit the inf file, then run the setup.exe in the folder 2KXP.

• Really simple (hopefully) question about GPIB-USB-HS

  I tried to reconnect a GPIB-USB-HS to a network through a PC HP on shelf Analyzer. Before removing the GPIB-USB-HS system about a week or two ago, Network Analyzer (a vintage 1989 HP 8720 vector Network Analyzer) had worked well with the GPIB unit. Now that I reconnected the GPIB device to network monitor, measurement and automation seems not be able to detect the Network Analyzer.

  My question is: if my GPIB-USB-HS appear in measurement and automation, and it passes the NOR-488. 2 troubleshooting of HW and SW utility test, it would be safe for me to assume that whatever connection problems I have with the Analyzer network, rather than with the GPIB-USB-HS itself?

  I finally got the connection working again. I just had to tighten the screws on the GPIB-USB-HS to make sure it's a good connection to the Network Analyzer so that it can work.
