Question about compatibility card mother Satelite P500

Hello

I have a Toshiba Satellite P500-14N (only part no PSPGSE-00600FGE) with a problem on the motherboard.

SPS: A000052610

P/N: 31TZ1MB0100

PCB: DATZ1GMB8D0 REV:D

I find a motherboard

SPS:A000052120

P/N: 31TZ1MB0190

PCBS: DATZ1CMB8F0

2 motherboard is 100% compatible with each other

Toshiba offers two different models of P500 with different hardware platform.
It is with the PSPGSE and PSPG8E part number.
They are not compatible or identical and have different chipset, processor and graphics card.

I recommend you get your PSPGSE of the same motherboard.

I found a small free tool called turn the wide-screen LCD. You can google for it if you want.
But as far as I know, this tool is only compatible with Win XP and Vista, so I don't know if it will work on laptops with pre-installed m Win 7.

  • Compatibility card mother HP/Phenom 960 t

I have a HP P7 1054, Alvorix H-RS880-card mother Μatx, rated at 95W max (oops on the purchase of a Phenom 965BE).  The motherboard is compatible "9xx" and Phenom 4 x 3.0 ghz 960 t is assessed to 95W.  Will this motherboard support unblock this CPU to present itself as a 6-core, it is strong?  I heard some motherboards do, some don't.  Moreover, the fact that this CPU is 3.4 ghz "turbo" (T) affect compatibility it is, as it technically isn't just a 9xx, this is a 9xxT.  I am currently very literal, it should work if I buy it. Add cache L3 of the Phenom my Anthlon 3.1 stock vs ghz 4 x 645 is primary, without renouncing a clock speed.  Looks like a good 95W replacing the 965BE, also 3.4 ghz but 125W

I decided to just give up the illegitimate child of 970T and get a Phenom X 6 1045T, I know works, 95W, has 6 hearts, of course, has the L3 I want, 50% L2 more than my 4 X and will run at 3.2 Ghz Turbo when 3 or more cores is closed. For $99 at my local Microcenter, it's worth on my Athlon X 4 645 3.1 Ghz.  Without risk, HP even built desktop computers with this CPU on my exact Board.  The computer is much faster than me in any case using Solidworks.  Now if I can just sell my 125W Phenom X 4 965BE with zero minute on it...

Thanks for me direction away from what would have been a dead end...

  • Satellite P35 - compatibility card mother/cpu?

    Hello

    I have a toshiba laptop p35 with a motherboard K000018150.
The vehicle currently has a 4 538 mobile pentium 3.2 GHz and I want to know if it is compatible with a processor intel core 2 duo 1.6.

I can't find any support for this model.

    Thank you

    I agree with Pererk

You check you chipset which is placed on the motherboard.
It is very easy to read using a material like Everest Home Edition diagnostic tool.

Chipset properties can be verified on the Intel page
You will find the news which processors are supported by this chipset

But note; Although the chipset would support a new processor, it is not easy to tell if the laptop would be stable after this upgrade due to the question of compatibility of the BIOS.

  • Tecra M7: Question about PC card compatibility

    Hello

I have a Tecra M & and am quite satisfied with its performance. I work on a lot of video editing and had to get a Seagate 300 GB eSATA external hard drive in the hope of making life easier for me. I bought a SIIG eSATA II ExpressCard and believe that it is not compatible with the provision of the PC card in my system - which I believe confroms to standard CardBus.

Is it possible to use my ExpressCard card? If this is not the case, is there a CardBus card that would allow me to use 3 GB of my new SATA hard drive throughput delivery?

I've invested nearly 150 GB punds on things and wish to exploit technology to the maximum so that I can get smoother work with my video files.

Any technical contribution must be assessed.

    Thank you
    siraJ

What model Tecra do you have? You have entered am &' so uncertain. I haven't seen a converter SATA CardBus and doubt that it is likely, given the high SATA transfer rate.

You may need to consider taking your gear back for a refund. But before do you that please confirm the Tecra model number so that we can look at this more.

  • Question about sound card on Satellite Pro L40

    Hello

I use a program called Sibelius and recommended an ASIO compatible sound card.
Can someone tell me if the sound in the satellite pro L40 series card is compatible ASIO?
If not I can plug a card external sound which is compatible and if so how can I turn off the internal sound card.

    Thank you

I really don't think not someone will be able to give you information about the ASIO compatibility, but I see no problem, that is if you want to use the external device. Card internal sound, you can disable it in Device Manager.

  • Satellite L305-S5920: Question about PC card, new use HDD & Win XP

I recently bought this machine in the mail and on arrival was disappointed to see that it is not equipped with a Firewire plug - I thought that all the machines which had today? Too bad, I thought I'd use my PCMCIA Firewire card. But then I found that what looks like a standard PCMCIA socket has a block to halfway down on one side which prevents a normal PCMCIA card being inserted. Snookered. What is this decision? Not one of my PC cards will go in.

I then tried, had always been my intention to replace the 160 gb HD with a new 500 GB it and install XP on it. It's a very long story, but it culminates at Toshiba telling me that "this model will not work XP. Someone at - it ideas how to get around this problem?

Either way, I don't seem to have all the means to re-establish a new HD Vista if/when this one fails. Am I expected to go out and buy, or I missed something? There is no "recovery partition" on the hard drive so there is no way that I can produce my own recovery disk.

I then tried to play a DVD, to be told that it was the wrong region and could not be played. Quite absurd to place this restriction on laptops - I live in two Americas and Britain - but once again so much worse, I'll just load AnyDVD and continue nevertheless. But no - the carpet * a drive mounted by Toshiba is one of the few that cannot be decrypted.

Therefore this machine, which works well in its own design constraints, is nowhere near what I wanted and expected it to be. Can someone suggest a solution to all of the above questions? Because I already ordered a different brand which according to me does not have these limits, but it would be useful to keep this as a spare if I can fix it.

    Hello

First of all, I doubt that there is some design flaws
Akuma has already said, there are devices that supports different standards.

In any case, for the first I recommend that you check this Toshiba page we:

    [Satellite L305-S5920 - details-| http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/support/jsp/modelContent.jsp?ct=DL&os=&category=&moid=2241928& rpn = PSLB8U & modelFilter = L305-S5920 & SelCategorie = 3 & selFamily = 1073768663]

You will find here all the details on this model Sat L305
In the detailed specifications, you can find the info that this laptop uses the Express Card slot (ExpressCard/34 and ExpressCard/54). You must use Express cards instead of PCMCIA cards!

You can also install the Win XP I n know not why, someone said that you can not do this strange however, you can install the Win XP and I found XP drivers too! Please visit US!

The recovery of HARD drive partition is placed on European models of Toshiba. I put t know how it works on Toshiba WE series (perhaps drive HARD recovery is not available on laptops in the United States), but perhaps you need to create the first recovery disk in order to recover the laptop to factory settings.

  • question of compatibility card motherboard and CPU E430

    Hello, thinkpadians colleagues.

I have search the forums for something similar, but had no luck. I bought an e430 from a friend that she needed money, and it came with the Sandy bridge 3254h4p HM77 motherboard and an i3 2330 m processor. I am not very well informed about the compatibility of motherboards and processors, so here:

Am I completely reserved for the processor sandy bridge or can I try an Ivy such as the 3210 m i5 bridge provided with later versions of the thinkpad? I am aware that it came with a different motherboard and architectures, but the issue remains as I said it is possible to upgrade from different generations, as long as the motherboard supports.

Assuming that I'm stuck with the bridges of sand, I'd be able to install a bridge tdp processor sand 45 (I have the i7 2670qm in mind) or am I also pasted with tdp 35 options?

    Thank you in advance.

I was wrong; the HM77 should work with an Ivy Bridge.

You can always meet problems of heat with a chip of 45W at full load.

  • Stupid question about compatibility

I would be happy to search the forum for inDesign to discssions on compatibility with other editions, but it seems that it is impossible. Where this stupid question.

Problem: a uniform translation ends me back-saved files in InDesign CS, which I created originally, but I can't open them.

This that I have to spend $500 on an upgrade so I can open it or is there a way they can back - save it so I can open it?

    Thank you

I think that I get it now. I doubt that the files have been saved as files InDesign CS. As I said before, it is impossible to back - save as InDesign files. Only InDesign X can save to a file, InDesign X. very probably, the provider is you open files in a later version of InDesign and save as native file of this version, InDesign 4, 5 or 6, you cannot open.

    You have three options:

    1. You are upgrading InDesign to be compatible with the version of the provider.
    2. Only translated text files, then you replace the text in your files.
    3. Having the export INX since InDesign 4 provider. If they use later to edit it can be a loss of hassle and risks of formatting.
  • Question about graphics card driver updates on Satellite U300 series

I am installing Spyder2 Pro on Vista Home premium 32-bit, but I have problems with this load in CS2. I contacted Colorvision and they suggested that if the video card is more than 6 months old I would need the last update. I searched toshiba/intel Web sites and could not update, when I download and try to install it I have the version more up-to-date, which is 7.14.10.1263.

    Can anyone help!

    Hello

I think you probably have an error during the download of the driver. As I know the latest version of the Intel VGA for Vista Home Premium 32 Bit drivers is '7.14.10.1409 '. Please click [HERE: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/filter_results.aspx?strTypes=all&ProductID=2301&OS FullName = windowsvista + * + Home + Premium % 2 C + 32 - bits + version & lang = eng & strOSs = 153 & submit = Go % 21] and download this driver to update your graphics driver to the latest version.

Would be recognizing some comments if the update worked for you.

  • Question about graphics cards for Equium L40 - 10 X

HI - new to this, but really cut so I hope someone can help me. !

I bought an Equium L40 - 10 X in August and thought it was good for what I wanted, especially after seeking advice and addressing the 'expert' at my local pcworld.

However, I think that the graphics card is good enough to support the games I got - Medal of honor Warchest, Hitman Triple Pack and Call of Duty 2. They all sem to recommend a graphics card than nVidia as a minimum requirement. The card in the laptop is an Intel (r) 945 Express Chipset Family (I think) and the OS is Vista Home Premium.

I have problems include the loss of graphics and stutter during playback.

Can I have a nVidia graphics card or is the that I've had enough but I just need to change some settings?

Really don't have an idea, so help would be much appreciated!

    Hello Dicker

You are shown how the customer can purchase the wrong product. It may be your fault or due to bad Advisory Service. L40 books are pretty cheap with the average material. This laptop is good for everyday work (Office Automation, writing letters and surfing) but certainly not for the complex graphics applications and games.

Sorry but there is not much to do. Only thing to do is to increase the RAM to the maximum, but forget the graphics card upgrade. Something like this is not possible.

    Good bye
