• I think I got contradictory responses after receiving responses to my question about my Photos of girls.

  I think I got responses contradictory re using Time Capsule to put the Photos on TC app file and use it as an external hard drive. They say not that you need to partition it and thus voiding the warranty and the other just say Yes.

  We are all users here give advice... I'm not surprised, that we sometimes give contradictory recommendations. Even I give advice that conflict if my knowledge of the situation is defective or still in development.

  You can do this... but it is risky and unsupported.

  A user may have had no problem and so promotes using say the TC for iphoto or photos to store the library... and recommend using it this way based on their experience. That is to say the statistical evidence of a user, they promote what apple says NOT to do. If it works for me it should work for you too... and Apple is so fake.

  Now we have to dig very deep to find Apple say do not STORE a LIVE ON the LIBRARY NETWORK DRIVE.

• Question about iPhone 5 c to iOS 9.2 update

  A friend has an iPhone 5 c running iOS 7.1.2 and the phone has 32 GB of storage space.  She tried to upgrade to iOS 9.2 for several days now without any success.  At first, she thought it was a matter of space and she has managed to release about 7 GB of space.  At this point, it's what's happening:

  • It connects iPhone to her computer laptop (Windows 8.1) via a USB cable
  • She starts the update of iOS on iTunes
  • Finally, iTunes displays this message: "preparing the iPhone for the software updates...". "and iTunes will also display a message stating:"iTunes is updating the software on the iPhone.
  • It leaves the computer and only iPhone and iTunes displays the messages above for more than 24 hours.

  The fact that it leaves on literally from one day to the next and the update is not complete so upset she and I.  At one point, she accidentally disconnected the iPhone from his computer and iTunes has detected the disconnection, but when she immediately reconnected, he eventually returned to the condition described above.

• Question about the photo (using the folders and Photos app)

  I am new on the app Photos - aperture used briefly but never really liked. I used to manage/sort all my photos with simple folders on the hard drive. Now, I would like to move the direction of the Photos app.

  A few questions:

  1.) if I add images, are they duplicated on my hard drive when I import them from Photos?

  2.) how to delete images permanently? I need to do a cleanup, which is easier in the Photos. If I delete the images here (and also delete the "recently deleted" album), why they remain in their original on my hard drive folder?

  1 - Yes by default which is highly recommended, as was the case with iPhoto you then delete the photo source since it is safe in the library

  2 - pictures works just like iPhoto - nothing outside the library is not affected by what you do in the application - see 1

  OK... I don't know WHAT DIS has been abandoned. HOWEVER, with my MSN Premium subscription, it is always available for download and installation.  However, it does not seem to give me all the files... which is some clip art, templates, etc... I get thumbnails, but when I try to open them, it cannot locate the file. I intend to try and buy on Ebay, but it's a little annoying that so obviously, I should be able to get this for free (w / my subscription paying). Could something is happening with my PC? I never met of errors during download/installation...

I'll do some work, make some changes, etc... and when I go to save work, an error will appear saying it is impossible to save in C: / / etc... • Question about the photo galleries and derived works

  An extended license allows you to market the use of the image, but changes to a real image could cause a problem to the artist who argued that the image.

  Duplicate the orange shape and change the fill color to blue. Draw your new shape on that layer, using the Intersect option.

  Yes, it seems that this picture has been simplified, and it does not show the level of appropriate detail.

  This shows what we call "cross instance archiving". If you enable this, one storing data on multiple nodes. So if you are in a cluster, and archive locally, if this node dies, so how you get that archive the data to retrieve, put the archives in several places gives you extra security for those who are paranoid. I think that it was more useful in the days where Oracle shipped just archiving logs, now that lgwr writes to the remote node, you are less likely to need it.

• question about cleaning the sensor of the A57

  Dear community of Sony,

  I have several questions about the cleaning of the sensor of the A57.

  Recently, I noticed several dark specs appearing on images when shooting at low opening (F20, F22), especially when there are high for them (like the sky in a landscape photo) contrast. To my knowledge, I've categorized as possible of dust on the sensor. I have read the section of the manual about cleaning the sensor and followed the procedure. However, the problem remained. I have previous experience with cleaning of the more resistant the probe of a Sony NEX dust particles, so I applied it to the A57. I used the specialized sensor cleaning tools combining two parts kit - wet and dry. Noted little dust on translucent mirror as well, so I cleaned up afterwards. Later, I considered this mirror could have some specialized coatings.

  So my first question is: should I have done some permanent damage the mirror or the sensors? Currently, the camera works OK, although some features of dust still remain. It seems that I had pushed some of them to the edges of the sensor.

  I'm not so happy with the tool that I used. I'm thinking about this one for a more thorough cleaning:

  I'm considering installing Windows on my 2006 iMac. I have a few questions I was hoping you might be able to help me with that. I know that this machine will run Windows 7 or 8, in terms of system resources, but probably doesn't have the RAM for 10.

  The girl has reached Apple Obsolescence and no longer can be upgraded to newer versions of Mac OS. Unfortunately, this also means that she can not get the latest version of iTunes and don't talk to my phone. But she still my entire library of music.

  I know that used at least iTunes is available on Windows, but I seem to remember that they took it. Y at - it an option to put my iTunes music on an iPhone 6 in a Windows environment? I don't mind if I need to convert files or otherwise work for her. I have just a few old out-of-print stuff that I really miss being able to listen to anywhere other than my office.

  I'm pretty much stuck with versions before 10, due to the RAM thing. Honestly, I haven't used Windows since around 1998, with the exception of a terminal XP at work, so I don't know much about it. Any recommendation on which version is the best? And I can buy a copy online directly from Microsoft?

  If I would be better off buying a new laptop for very cheap, it is also a possibility. But my Mac still works well, despite not being not supported for updates, and I hate wasting perfectly good material. I just don't have the money for another Mac right now.

• Question about importing video footage in Premiere Pro

  I'm new to Premiere Pro and have a question about it. I need to move all my videos on my new computer (Windows) from my old computer (iMac running iMovie). Where should I store my images so I can access inside Premiere Pro? I just need to store everything on a hard drive, and then create inside Premiere Pro projects when I need to import images in, or should I create a 'library' to store all my movies in? Setup bridge would be another beneficial way to view my videos (I use Lightroom for my photo library)? I'm just trying to discern the way I need to store and organize everything in order to get started with Premiere Pro. Thank you!

  Premiere Pro has no capability of database for the media in general, only in a specific project. 'Import' is not like in Lightroom, it does in PrPro is tell her where to look for the media while working on this specific project.

  So... you need create your materials on a particular disc, presented in a way that you can find them in a folder structure you design.

  A typical use of PrPro spreads parts on several disks. OS/programs on the system drive, a disk each cache PrPro & cache of database files; preview files; and project files. Media probably on another drive and exports on a final drive.

  Access the disk cache & cache database files, preview files and project files are the two ways of reading & writing, in addition to being constant. Multimedia files are used unalterable and exports only Scripture, their connections can be a little less robust.
