Question about USB-ERB08 VI relay

I just had a question of specific labview...  So for our relay VI (which works fine), we want to now that she continuously power on all seconds, instead of having to click the button a hundred times.  It seems it would be an easy solution, I'm just having hard time understanding.  I played a bit with "loops" and "wave" screws, but did not have much luck.  I have attached the VI for the relay.  Thank you.

I can't write the VI for you because I don't have the particular VI you are using. Here is a screenshot of what the code should look like with DAQmx VI is used instead. This should help you understand my slightly better text.

Can you get it someone please let me know if all precautions must be taken when using a mouse; usually is it necessary to exercise caution while connecting and removing the mouse from the USB port.
From now on, the mouse is detected automatically and there is no icon for 'remove hardware safely '.

    Thank you very much

    Best regards

    Hi Karthik,

the icon "Remove hardware" usually appears with resources such as hard drives, ADSL modems etc. who have the ability to buffer data, and it is necessary for this dump buffer to the device before it is disconnected.

Your mouse is classified as a device of human Intervention, and as such it does not buffer all data therefore should not be removed "without problem". You will be completely sure just to unplug it when you need to.

  • Question about USB DAQ 6363

    Hi all,

I'm new with LabView, currently, we plan to purchase NI DAQ USB 6363 to use the entry to read the value of the resistor, capacitor and a diode and use digital i/o to check the functionality of the analog shift register. I want to check if it is possible that NI DAQ USB 6363 to acquire communication RS232 function because I want to drive barcode interface on it. I'll use LabView to log the reading result of database (SQL, Access) to do some data analyzation. IM also confused on test bench OR what is the relationship between she and NI LabView? is this another software to install except for LabView?

    Thank you

No, you do not connect an RS-232 device to the DAQ card. The RS-232 is connected to the pc. If your pc lacks a built-in port you can use a USB-> RS232 converter.

    Hey all,.
While the analog TV tuner that is inside my Qomsio E10 is OK for now, I'm looking forward to get a Digital Tv Tuner USB from Toshiba adapter.

1 MCE (version 2004 on E10) will be able to use this DVB - T Tuner for me to record digital programs in MCE?

2 "Intervideo WinDVD Creator 2 Platinum for Toshiba" (comes with E10) will be able to see the PX1211E-1TVD so?

If not, what software could be used to record DVB - T programs?

  • Many questions about the HP 50 g

I just ordered a HP 50 g graphic calculator! I have a few questions about this so hang on tight! What is the USB connector on the calculator? Mini-USB, micro USB, or is it a connector owner, "custom". Then, it would be possible to connect a keyboard to the HP 50 g by using the USB Port? Is there a program that would make this possible? (I doubt it would work if you plug it..) I have a Mini-USB to female USB 2.0 connector. So I could just plug the keyboard right, provided that the port on the calculator is a Mini-USB Port. If this is not so that I could use my female to female USB adaptor to connect the keyboard.

  • Questions about TV Tuner Satellite A500/040

    Hi all

I'm new to the Tuner of TV analog digital hybrid and I'm sorry if my questions seem as stupid.

I have two questions about the of digital TV Tuner analog integrated hybrid in the Notebook Toshiba Satellite A500/040. My understanding is that the TV tuner hybrid integrated able to decode TV signals high definition and their display on TV via its HDMI port. I wonder if I could watch TV shows on your laptop without connecting to a TV. If so, is the software needed? There are several USB TV tuners for desktops and laptops on the market, A500 hybrid TV tuner works differently these USB TV tuners?

    Thank you

    Young

    > I think I know that the TV tuner hybrid integrated able to decode TV signals high definition and their display on TV via its HDMI port.

    N ° this s tv tuner not a HD!
It s a digital tuner that provides digital video signal 576i and not 1080i.

Of course, you can use the HDMI port to connect the laptop to the LCD HDMI port but you will not get the quality video full HD as blueray for example.

I found this Australian page from Toshiba:
    http://www.MyToshiba.com.au/products/notebooks/satellite/A500/psam3a-04000e

You will find this passage short text:
+ With tuner TV built-in, you can even watch analog or digital TV everywhere where you travel, while the HDMI ports make connecting high definition on your TV screen and sound system. +

You can also watch TV on mobile phones display! It's a key reason why the TV tuner built in ;)

  • A few questions about Toshiab reocvery disk for Satellite P300-133

    Hello guys,.
I had a few questions about unpleasant surprises of recovery:

(* 1) * I just make recovery DVD using Toshiba Recovery Disk Creator and he asked initially for 2 DVDs - but when one has been done it does not require a second blank DVD. Is it possible all the Windows Vista system files to write on 1 DVD?

(* 2) * if I could reinstall Windows Vista using recovery of HARD drive option (by pressing F8) without using the recovery DVD?

(* 3) * HARD drive partitions that will be formatted (just system C: or C: and E :) using HARD drive recovery?

(* 4) * what is DVD - Image of the hard drives or the installation of Vista recovery files?

Its pretty bad idea to not include BONES on DVD when I paid for it.
Thanks for all the Toshiba problems :(

    1. I think the recovery disk creator means 2 CDs. I also have a Portege M700 with Windows Vista and a DVD. I got it and after that, I have a clean install of Vista with all the drivers and tools of Toshiba. Nothing is missing.

    2. Yes, you can reinstall Vista using recovery of HARD drive option when you press F8 at startup. You don't need the recovery DVDs, but you should create a when your HARD drive get some errors or something else. If you need a new recovery DVDs, you paid for one.

3 HARD drive and complete partitions will be formatted, so backup your data first on a DVD disk external DRIVE, USB stick or something else.
After the reinstallation, you have factory settings.

    4. the recovery DVDs is an image of the HARD disk on the factory settings. If you perform a recovery, there are all the drivers and tools are already installed. Of course, on the disk are files of installations of Vista, but you can use this DVD on your Satellite P300. The disc cannot be used on another Satellite or on a PC.

If you have any other questions, take a look in the user manual. There are a number in the formations of the recovery. It s in Chapter 3.

  • Question about the new Yoga 10 HD +.

    Hello

A few questions about the new Yoga 10 HD + that I hope you can answer.

I bought the former model, last year. Love the design and long battery life, but a few major questions made me return.

    • Somewhere that I've read that it can not read NTFS on USB so I guess that's the same thing with a NTFS formatted microSD card?
    • Can it read exFAT formatted microSD cards?
    • Anyone who has questions about the audio via bluetooth?
(I know that BT is not exactly High End HiFi but the old 10 Yoga for some obscure reason - most likely a driver problem which nobody cared to fix - rang * very * worst with visibly distortion while both my phone and a Tablet noname cheap I have zero about fidelity - any of my devices bluetooth audio) I tried aptX or not)

So to avoid buying it back it also I really I would like to see if I can get my questions answered before buy you.

While I love the form factor and long term issues above are only two Mayor dealbreakers for me. Bad audio quality = no joy listen to spotify, local etc. MP3s. not of NTFS or exFAT = some great movies.

My old noname android Tablet really could use an upgrade so I'm really curious it may be, or I should watch the competition and will be form factor and battery LIFE.

    Thanks in advance.

    EDIT:

If it does not support NTFS or exFAT on microSD card have someone at - he tried ext3 or ext4?

I mean with Linux Android root, it should be a no-brainer to support at least when it comes to royalties unlike NTFS or exFAT where it * might * have some trouble with Microsoft.

I used a USB through a USB OTG cable. NTFS or exFAT have been recognized by the Tablet PC. FAT32 is seems to be the preference.

  • I have a Photosmart C7280 and s question about a decision of the network.

I currently have two workstations connected to a router via ethernet cables.  They are connected to a single (not HP) printer with USB cable through a USB switch.  Two laptops to connect to the wireless router.  I could replicate the existing configuration with the C7280, but the idea of a network in which the laptops were allowed to participate is very attractive.  One of the laptop is running Windows version 7, the other computers running Linux.  If I go for an ethernet network, the laptops will be able to connect to the printer via the router?  If I go for a wireless network, desktop computers will be able to connect to the printer via their ethernet cables?  A couple of Wireless USB adapters are a possibility.

I understand that you have questions about networking with your printer.

Yes, wired network connections will be no problem to connect to a wifi connected printer.  Most routers bridge cable and wireless to work as a single network.  There are some routers between wired and wireless networks, but these are before any company grade routers and network equipment.

A wired desktop computer will be able to print to a wireless printer as long as it is connected via the same router.  Conversely, a wireless computer can print to a printer connected Ethernet as long as it's the same router.

I recommend using a network for the printer configuration, if possible, to avoid printing problems.  USB hubs have been known to cause printing problems, although this isn't always the case.

  • Technical questions about X 1 carbon Touch base

Please forgive me, I'm still recovering after the shock and frustration generated by dealing with Lenovo Tech Support.

I recently received my X 1 carbon Touch and I have tried to understand some - I think - fundamental questions.

As you know, to win 8, Lenovo doesn't have a custom recovery solution / owner. However, there are a score of Lenovo recovery on the machine. I'm /assuming/ this, somehow, can be used through the default / built-in mechanisms of recovery Windows, but I want to know exactly how without necessarily experiencing myself with it.

In addition, the computer seems to be equipped with a mechanism of alternative stand-by, fast recovery called Intel or something like that. It is enabled in the BIOS and apparently makes use of a hidden partition of ~ 8 GB on the SSD. However, I find no indication of this mechanism working. There are no settings that I could find in Windows. I changed the BIOS to 'Immediately' setting in order to test the functionality, but put the computer to sleep does not seem to generate behavior that is somehow different from regular sleep.

In any case, I would like advice or information on my questions above. I understand works the thing of recovery fast in order to decide if I want to recover the partition or not. I would also like to know my options I should never need re - install the delivered factory OS without actually crossed the steps. I would also if someone could tell me the best way to get support from Lenovo.

/ * I called Lenovo technical support with these issues. The person sponsor and those to whom I then was sent to had no idea what I was talking about. They had difficulty understanding terms like partition, standby, sleep, resume, and even software/hardware and implementation. It was suggested that my computer may be Intel and Lenovo not... They seemed to really come from an age of the computer. I asked to speak with someone who would have some basics of the machine that Lenovo delivered to me. I find it reasonable. At that time, I was told to talk to a knowledgeable person, I have to pay a fee. Seriously?

    elfstone,

To find out how to work the various Windows recovery methods, please see this Microsoft Web site:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-8/restore-refresh-reset-PC

The sole purpose of the recovery partition is to work with the "All delete and reinstall Windows" function of Windows 8.  If you have specific questions about the factory recovery that you can't get items from Microsoft, let me know.

Regarding the plan of hibernation from Intel, as you noted, it takes a partition dedicated to your SSD which cannot be used for other purposes.  The only parameter in Windows is inside the application of arrangements of Lenovo in the power section.  Lenovo calls this function "in waiting for 30 days.  The only thing you can do is it turn on or off.  Here's how works "waiting for 30 days:

    1. When you close the lid, or otherwise put the system into standby mode, the system of standby for 3 hours.

03:02 hours, the system will wake up and check things like not attached AC, wake-on-LAN not activated, USB device not attached, etc..  If conditions permit, the system will enter wakefulness of 30 days for example deep sleep.  If the system returns in normal mode to 'sleep'.

    3. deep sleep means that the content of the memory is written on the special hibernation on the SSD partition.  It is very similar to the traditional hibernation except what happens faster using methods of BIOS instead of Windows methods.  But this isn't anywhere near as fast as normal sleep/recovery.

    4. the system out of deep sleep when the cover is opened or when you press the power button.

You have found the BIOS settings, but in fact they are ignored when Lenovo settings (and package of dependence of the Lenovo parameters) are installed on the system.  I don't really know why this design choice has been made.

Personally, I don't see value in 30 days standby, not enough value to want to give up my expensive SSD 8 GB.  I exclusively use sleep/recovery.  The battery will last several days.  And if I'm going to be away from the computer for a long time, then I'll just stop it.

  • A few questions about FileConnection/JSR 75

[I posted these issues some time ago, but got no response]

I am writing an application that targets the 4.2.1 and upward. After reading everything I can find (api docs, forum, kb, guides, web search), I still have many questions about the BlackBerry file system:

    1. Are store / and SDCard / internal name of the memory and the SD card root on all BlackBerry devices?
    2. JSR 75 leaves open the question of whether an application sees the virtual roots that are private to itself or if all applications share the same roots. How does on BBs? I have seen many examples where the path name starts by "/ store/home/user/app_name /" or "/ SDCard/BlackBerry/app_name / '. Is this necessary, or can my request simply use "/ store /" or "/SDCard/" and add the file name? If the former, are there best practices documented anywhere to manage collisions between app names?
    3. If the files are visible in many applications, there are layers of security available to protect data (I think something similar to how a PersistentObject can be encapsulated in an object ControlledAccess using the PersistentStore) or do make us our own?
    4. I read on this forum somewhere that store / is not available when a device is connected via USB and mass storage is active. Is this and other information like this documented somewhere?
    5. May restrict the COMPUTER strategies how an application uses FileConnection, particularly to the store / and SDCard /? If so, is there any guidance on common restrictions that developers should know when you write applications for general use?
    6. What restrictions are there on the names of files (allowed characters, length, etc.)?

Any guidance or pointers will be appreciated!

    Hi Ted,

I'm not sure on your remaining questions, but I'll try to answer as best I can:

    1. did not have different names on the devices until today.

    2. you have no problem on SD card and you are allowed to save files anywhere it. Not quite sure

shop around, but you should be able to save files on the file system visible and own created folders. There will be

some folders inaccessible devices that require internal processing (installed Te of applications etc..).

    3. you can open files as readonly etc. but elsethere it is not the layers of security installed. If you have data

issues of security, you must save this Te using the RuntimeStore class!

    4. I don't know, but it's a fact. But for this purpose, you can detect the toggling of mass storage

    programmatically.

    5 see point No. 3

6 see restrictions as specified in JSR 75.

    Kind regards

  • Various Questions about wireless access controller

Help me please with these fundamental questions about the role of the access (AC) wireless controller.

Assume that the access controller and Access Point are connected via IP:

-Wireless frames sent to AP to acre; include the original MAC header (on the way to wireless access)?  If Yes, is there a Cisco AC gets to fill the WLAN and LAN it is plugged (which means that it outputs as ethernet frames as if they were issued by Mobile Stations).

-Is the AC necessarily the default gateway for mobile stations? I guess not. But it is possible the default gateway?

The Cisco AC can function as a DHCP relay?

The AP creates a tunnel to the controller. All IP traffic from the AP to the controller will address the AP source and dest IP to the interface of the Manager of the AP on the controller. The wireless client traffic is encapsulated inside this tunnel. When it hits the controller the CAPWAP is removed leaving the customer's original package to be sent to the local network through the controller.

The controller should not be the default gateway for wireless clients because it is not a router. Think of it as a device that converted into wired wireless traffic.

Normally, the controller acts as a proxy DHCP. Once the customer has joined a WLAN, the controller sends the DHCP packets to the DHCP server on behalf of clients such as the IP address of assistance normally configured on the router for cable customers. You can also configure the controller to act as a DHCP server for wireless clients.
