• Delete the question numbering

  Hello

  I am using Captivate 4. I want to remove the numbering of a question answer multiple choice. I read in a previous post that in previous vesion of Captivate that this was not possible and a work-around was to make the first letter of the issue of the same color as the background. The numbering to copy and so you wouldn't see it. Can someone tell me if Captivate 4 lets you remove the numbering?

  Hello

  Click file > export > captions and subtitles of the project. This will give you a Word document. Modify the document to remove unwanted numbering. Close and save. Click on import > captions and subtitles of the project. Re-import the mass in the project document.

• Find/change the question numbers and create the Table of contents

  Hello! I need help to find all my item numbers and apply a paragraph style so I can use them to create a Table of contents page.

  The sample numbers

  #12345

  #12345-5

  #12345-20

  #12345-ABC

  #12345/N

  I tried to enter #^? ^ ? ^ ? ^ ? ^ ? in the search/replace and but it is exactly 5 characters after the sign #. I wonder if you can find all characters starting by # and up until the last characters.

  Once I found all item numbers, how can I apply the paragraph style to have these characters after the sign #? Because I only want to show item numbers without the # sign on the Table of contents/Index page.

  In addition, I have InDesign CS2, which have no function GREP maybe I can do this without the GREP?

  Are your numbers by themselves in a separate paragraph? OTHERWISE you can not USE the table of contents feature to list all the numbers.

  If are, then just look at # in find/replace, then set it to change formatting a new paragraph style (you must create this style in CS2) that you want to include in the table of contents, then as you say, you can use find/replace once more on the history of the TOC to remove the # of all numbers.

• CODE TEMPORAL AND CLIP QUESTION NUMBERING

  I'm editing of clips from sd cards on my iMac.  Each clip begins to 00.00.00, and longer clips were divided into 2, 3, and even 4 clips 01, 02 etc.. No matter how many different ways, I imported the images, change preferences, using what has been suggested to me - I can't see timecode media browser. My colleague has imported the same images on his mac pro and can see timecode and the clips are not cut into segments.

  I'm pulling out my hair.  Can anyone help?

• Need help with a simple list of question numbers

  I have an ArrayCollection, a collection of whose columns is a price: number. I want to get the price max() and min() in this column. I created a temporary table that contains just the price; It looks like this:

  When I try to pass the array to max() like that, Math.max (temp), I get an error on the table on the number of force.

  The temp table contains the correct data. How can I activate it in a list of values that the methods Math.min () and max() will accept?

• Progress indicator & quot; question 1 3 & quot; When I have 2 questions.

  I have 2 question slides in my project and the progress at the bottom of the question slide indicator the number correct question and the total number of questions while I'm editing the project. However, when I publish my project and play again, he says 'question 1 of 3' and "question 2 of 3." But I only reallly have 2 questions. I tried to delete all questions and recreate their and I also even imported my other slides in a new project and created new questions here, but the problem is still happening. Even if I just hide/delete question numbers, having an incorrect number of total issues throw precision score in the quiz results, so I can't let my project in this way for public use. • MEMORY SYSTEM classic blackBerry: Blackberry classic 'System' memory in environments; Storage and just access grows until the phone freezes

  Ive had BB for over 10 years.

  I'm recently on the new classic BB and had two combined in one week.  Both display the same problem - the system memory DEVELOPS itself...  Finally, when the combined system, applications and user files hits like 15 gb +, the phone crashes, stops working, wont work correctly or for example, open a text. This, coupled with the notifications of memory almost full system, remember to remove etc...

  I have just 8 applications user, no responsible side. All applications (default Inc. those preinstalled I guess) total 730 mb, user files 38 MB.

  The top off button seems to erase the memory of the system growing (but age), reducing back to between 2.8 and 3.5 GB, from where it slides up again...

  I saw exactly the same problem reported in other threads and others, to my knowledge, none have found a cure, and there were a variety of possible reasons for questionable apps never put an end to calendars or sync for always emails...  I have a timing of 30 days and the handset prev I put this at 14, just in case, without success.  It seems that much of the problem gave up BB...

  Ive spent hours on the phone with the help of BB, hours, days sat trying to sort with emails for the BB and it seems some suggestions are not better than ive already read in the many sons and ive visited forums.  It's like they know the problem but don't have any ideas...

  Anyone who has met or experienced, what if a cure has been found?

• Nonlinear quiz and System Variables

  I a non-linear with 3 sets of content that are all accessible from a menu. Each lesson has it's own set of issues after the content slides. I have introduced a "checkpoint results slide" at the end of each set of questions to give to the learner a feeling of his performance (rather than waiting until the end of all 3 lessons for the generated system quiz results slide). I wanted the learner to have the flexibility to do the lesson he feels like, answering questions, getting feedback, back on the menu, click on another lesson not visited and so, until all the lessons are visited, he gets his results and he left.

  

  The problem is that if the learner decides to start with unit 2 and not issues, when he revisits the menu and go to unit 3 or 1 unit Captivate doesn't seem not to recognize that it is a continuation of the quiz. Thus, it defines the question numbering back to "question 1" create an impossible situation for the system generated quiz results slide because I noticed that the system variables are also no update (I on the slide to test). In the end, the result slide final quiz is filled errors NaN because the system variables do not recognize the scope I guess.

  I gave in and made the linear project forcing the learner visit 1, 2, and then visit 3 (I hate everything simply!) and it worked. What I am doing wrong? Is the system generated results slide in Captivate quiz is possible for linear activity?

  I have my own variables to provide data user for my checkpoint slides (slides personalized results) and the project worked fine WITHOUT the beauty of having the result slide generated automatic system with the options of exam questions, which is a shame. Does that mean that I can not activate the two options, and I should just create my own final results slide? I hope not.

  If I understand the question, branch of knowledge is not the solution of the IMO. This feature will make the dynamic variable quiz, which means that only questions taken by the user must be included in system quiz on the slide of score variables: percentage, score, the maximum score, etc. Take a look at the example in this blog post:

  • If you want to display the score on each side of the quiz, you must create custom mark slides (have an another blog post, but dare not post links more).
  • The most important advice: you must make sure that you get out of the scope of the Quiz while providing freedom of navigation for the user. As long as you stay under quiz (CP now has a system variable to verify during testing) the Quiz attempt is not considered finished. Since you say that responses have been reset after a game, this means that a new attempt started wss Quiz that must be avoided. An easy way is to make sure that the entire course is within the scope of quiz, which you can get by adding an object to the first slide and putting the score at the end slide.

  Existing parameters in the report do not support chained values, which means a second parameter does not know about the first. However, this may be done using a custom ascx control.
  When you mention a filtered list of question numbers, it's something that you see the interaction with the user? For example, if the user selects the spec 456 trade, then the user would give a list of question numbers to choose from, or is the list of numbers to question anything they should not be able to choose? If the latter, then I would probably recommend to add this logic in SQL written for the BI Publisher report, because it would be much simpler than to create a custom ascx.

  With regard to the selection of specification of trade, is the cross-reference needed something that is deterministic (meaning that it has a specific rule), or is - it, the user will also have to choose? The existing control of EQT usually return PKID Spec, if the rule is deterministic, then he could just report this PKID instead and understand the cross-reference in SQL?

  You can decide what you want to continue working with upper or lower case. Then you can simplify all by applying toUpperCase() or toLowerCase() to the value in the fi section. It will look like this (assuming that you are working with the lowercase):

  If (event.value.toString () .toLowerCase () is "1 c")

  Note that we ensure that event.value will be processed as a string by converting it to a string with the toString() method. Maybe that's not necessary if you can ensure that event.value will always be of the string type.

• Required radio buttons - Possible Cause of unable to submit the form?

  I'm missing something about radio buttons.  Create a form of 9 page using the layout fluid and with the previous help from this forum, am being tested now.  It's a long questionnaire and questions are radio buttons, some are checkboxes.  For radio buttons, they are a Yes/No, each set contains 2 buttons and I use the question numbers under the name of link, for example the Question a 17, 4 sets of boxes for Yes/No to sub questions A, B, C and D, thus binding names Q17A, Q17B, etc..

  The column for the response of the database table is varchar2 sense it's text, but when you supply a value like 123 (a pure number), the database will think that you are trying to insert an integer into a field of varchar2. Add the quotes will make think it's the text instead of a number.

  This is probably a bug in programming so if you want to get to the bottom of this, raise a SR with Oracle support, but if you look at the example in more detail, you will notice that he asks for one more month and given suggestion shows the month written in his full name, so in theory if you have followed the example, the answer would be not only a pure number.
