• Question of balance of load on services deployed in two slaves

  Case:
  One master: 192.172.1.1
  Two slaves: 192.172.2.1/192.172.2.2
  There are service deployed in (192.172.2.1) slave1 and slave2 (192.172.2.2). A service will call the Service B, which is also deployed in slave1 and slave2.
  
  Condition:
  If I s as Department_A tmshutdown in slave1, there is a living as Department_A in slave2.
  
  Question:
  Now there's A service requests in slave2. If service B in slave1 will be called by A service in slave2 or not?
  
  My experience proves it of true. However, in my mind, the request to serve a slave2 only service B in slave1 slave2 not call. Is this wrong?

  If the service is available only on the B service and slave2 is available on both slave1 and slave2, service one can always call the B service on both slave 1 and slave 2 instances. A local idle service will always be perferred to a remote service, but if the local servers offering a B service are busy the system will also use remote servers.

  Each service has a charge associated with it as specified by the LOAD parameter in the UBBCONFIG * SERVICES section.  The default value is 50.  If some services are known to take longer that other services, an application can specify more load for long-term care services.

  The * section parameter NETLOAD MACHINES can be used to specify an additional charge to be added when calculating the cost of sending a request to a particular machine to another machine.  If NETLOAD is specified then Tuxedo will prefer the local machine to the remote machine by running the load balancer.

• Unable to return to a retirement account - Microsoft Money 2002 question of balancing

  I use Microsoft 2002 Deluxe and was trying to balance an account retirement and had to defer to correct an entry, and I am unable to return to balance. I did it in the past with no problems. When I select the side in cash to the account "balance" the form for the pop with 31/03/2012 balancing finished and when I hit next it back me toward the side of the money in the account. I don't get an error message. I tried to change the date for balancing, and it does not work. Everyone knows this and can you help me? O r should I buy another financial software and hope that I can convert my files?

• PIX OSPF question load balancing

  I have a pix 515e with two default routes, via OSPF from two routers on the "outside" interface

  Route #2 is currently being preferred spending much more than the #1 router. There are thousands of destinations for traffic. These two routers are still NAT nat rfc1918 IP Internet (the pix doesn't nat)

  Can you get it someone please let me know how the PIX is load balancing? is it by destination IP address? is it something else?

  When you click deliberately misled to avoid the pen tool not to snap to grid, it tends to not snap to grid.

  Since you didn't say exactly what you've done, I can't say if what you have is wrong, but I can tell you how it is supposed to work. If you select an anchor with the direct Selection (white pointer) tool and move around there must always line up on the grid. If you have several anchor points selected, Illustrator will jump to the grid from the point of anchor/s who is / are closer to the grid which can be when your mouse is.

  I'm pretty new to illustrator and you want to create a little background for an e-mail template html that I do.

  I have the artboard the value 800 X 666 (weird, I know, but that is how it is done), assign leaders pixels and placed at 70 and 730 px vertical slides, giving me a centered box width 660px.

  Then, I turned on a grid of pixels with a line each 10px with 10 subdivisions.

  My problem is that the grid is not guides. the origin (0,0) of my work plan begins to halfway between 2 lines of pixel grid and guide lines start slightly.

  Where am I wrong?

  You need to zoom to see the ten divisions of the grid of 10 pixels your magnification is too small to display the gridlines.

  If you notice you don't see 72 divisions for the first 72 pixels

  When I click on the message, it opens a new page, but there are no details available for example, what files were involved or anything else.
  
  The question is: Is there a way to know where these 2 data failure? (where, I mean what files were involved).

  Could you post your tag and all that is immediately below? I wish that the implementation is Vertical or absolute.

  If it is vertical, or it may be vertical, you should be able to set the horizontalAlign on the Application itself. If it is absolute, you could change the layout of the application to the vertical, the horizontalAlign to center value, and add a canvas immediately below demand with all content. Difficult to say without seeing the MXML, however.

  We have a situation in our project.
  
  We have weblogic8 sp5 server with a deployed MDB consuming messages from distributed queues created the WLS8. Commercial services OSB post messages on these distributed destinations.
  
  Set up:
  Production environments have 2 instances of servers wls8 and 2 instances of servers (weblogic) OSB.
  
  Production environments have 4 instances of successful wls8 servers and 2 instances of servers (weblogic) OSB.
  
  Server WebLogic 8 has a custer created with only hostname comma seperated. for example, host1, host2.
  
  OSB (WebLogic) server has cluster created with the host name and port separated by commas. for example, host1:port, host2:port.
  
  Scenario 1.
  
  Wls8 address of cluster meets she OSB services businesses, load balancing is not the case. Messages of light on one of the managed server wls8. If that server goes down, while messages on the other server. With this, we have overcome failure and no load balancing.
  
  Scenario 2.
  When wls 8 managed server URL is used with separated by commas in OSB business, some time of load balancing that happens. Is also not concluding that during the successful wls8 server goes down and that he gets up, stops work and all messages from load balancing accesses one of servers.
  
  Scenario 3.
  Produciton environment, we have 4 instances of successful wls8 servers and 2 instances of servers (weblogic) OSB managed.
  DiscutΘ in: scenario1, using the address of the cluster load balancing does not happen and all messages go to 1 of 4 managed servers. When using URLS separated by commas, happenes sometimes load balancing but it is load-balanced in 2 of the successful wls8 servers. 2 others receive all messages.
  
  
  We have the custom error handling made to catch all errors have occurred when an exception occurs in the proxy or service when calling business. Tried to add URLS different 4 in business services endpoint uri. If part of the endpoint is down, it gives an error and mail flow gets abandoned. Tried with activation of number of attempts. With that, when any end point downwards, it will raise an error that is collected in the collector to custom and then error try another available uri. With that, for any error and after the flow of e-mail successfully, an error is recorded.
  
  Pointers on above points will be useful to solve our problem of loadbalncing.

• Questions about 10g Grid Control (where/how)?

  Should install US 10g Grid Control on a separate machine, then our production database server or is it play nice on the same machine? The production server is a decent UNIX machine currently used 12 instances; We have capacity/room for EM if it will work well here. If this is the best on a separate machine, will be Windows 2003 (2 CPU 2 G of RAM) enough?
  
  The current databases are all 10.2.0.4 and configuration with Enterprise Manager on an individual basis. Should I remove or stop these agents EM if I go to the Grid Control?

  You can certainly seven. database repository of WHO and in large installations, it is highly recommended. If you are going to hang Grid control for monitoring and alert you want as stable as possible to ensure the capture and alert as expected and breakdowns in the grid control functions affect not your ability to be alerted when monitored environment has a problem.

  It is not necessary that the repository of control grid and WHO will be on the same platform there fore mix windows and unix to the SGC and the repository is fine, but ensure that the environment will be as stable as you need it to be to achieve the objectives of grid control.

  I don't think to it is possible to have an agent write in several databases WHO, so how is possible to have our redundant OEM Management Server?

  Install two agents on each target. One points to a WHO the other for other MSOS.

  This is the standard mode of operation.
