  Yes the Docker and laptop are 2 separate elements which can be locked together and remain together until you unlock them. They can be transported as a single unit or 2 separate. Its a very good design as it all works as a single unit with the battery powering the two units. You need to distribute the docking station, if you want to use the DVD player but its not that heavy and much smaller than some portable DVD players

• Two questions about HD Dock.

  1 - I want to know what is the left button on the remote for? OK, I just see an answer to this Q in another post.

  2 - can I put the phone on the dock all night or it will ruin my battery? (I know that its supposed to work like an alarm clock).

  There are several schools of thought, but everything that I've read, the only damage to the battery is if leave you it plugged 24 hours a day every day. Li - ion batteries are meant to be used.

  Most laptop manufacturers have extended information about the use of the battery and the worst thing you can do is to never take a lapotp of the charger. Your phone must be able to flow down 25, 50, 75%. I run my verse down to what it stops every two months - it recalibrates the phone to the battery capacity.

  I charge my phone at night many nights - so similar to the docking station and all my phones have lasted 2 years with great autonomy.

  Hello, I'm relatively new to Prelude and I have three questions.

  -First for a reason I is more then I move the panels to other positions and block them. This tab little hot spot is missing?

  -Second, the finder in the project panels may not find anything I come home (subclass names, clips, comments. What I am doing wrong?

  -Third panel marker Type used to display the five types of markers and now only three shows (a subelement, comment and speech Transcription.).

  I have tried resetting the workspace, close and reopen the app and even restart my computer... Nothing helps.

  I am currently using the latest version... Prelude cc 2014.

  I'm on an iMac with OS X Yesomite 2010 mid...

  It works the same way. Simply drag the main tab to a new location. You will see the familiar forms "purple."

  I'm not sure. Seems to work OK for me. Try different media swallowed another folder.

  You can assign thinapps by groups of users defined in Active Directory? At the moment we are allocation in pool or individual users according to their needs. I ask because we encountered a situation where a user has lost their vdi desktop and are to be given a new one with a completely different name, unfortunutely they lose some thinapp is assigned to them, unless he has received pool because it is received on the desktop and not a specific user.

  Create groups of application security in your ad.  Example:

  ThinApp_AdobeReader

  ThinApp_Office2010

  Create security groups and when you create the package you add groups when you are prompted for specific groups who can access this program.  Assign groups or users to security groups of applications that want to use it.  You can then use repository view ThinApp (as you do now) and he attributes the package to a pool but only people in the security group can actually run it.  Another way to do is run a script using ThinReg.exe and it will look at the security group and provide access to the program if the user is in the appropriate application security group.  It will also record requests for the correct files on the virtual desktop.

• When capturing installation - if I saw the virtual machine is it captured as well?

  All right, let's assume that I am ThinApping an application and I'm in the middle of the installation of the main application and a few children and updates applications.

  Snapshots of workstation are stored on the host computer. ThinApp scans the guest and will not see the snapshots of work stations. So you can take snapshots of work when you want, they are included in the package.

  Applications disappeared from the hard drive, question marks are in the dock for the most part disappeared instead of icons.  I also note that Intego X 9 virus check cannot perform an audit on the hard drive.  I ran disk utility and checking the material.  No noted problem.

  Has anyone gotten the 200W 3 Thunderbolt Zbook dock and all managed to make it work?  I recently took delivery (a few months late) and cannot operate.  When I plug it (and I made sure each driver I have is also present on the HP site), I start running in a series of questions.

  • Device Manager indicates an unknown device which is shown with an id of vid_174c & pid_3074, which should be a hub 3074 ASMedia superspeed, but none that I try to get the drivers not installed works for this device.
  • All of the USB ports on the laptop stop responding
  • My connected monitors appear, but in Device Manager, I see two copies of the monitors connected through the dock, and each has an exclamation point that the device drivers are not installed.
  • My ethernet seems to work fine
  • Try to install any sort of updated drivers (found in various places on the web) results ASMedia a BSOD
  • The laptop will be bad shut down or restart with the cable in place.  Forcing a hard stop (power button for several seconds) sometimes results the laptop is able to start and other times it simply crashes to the POST screen.
  • Unplug the docking cable, while the laptop is booted up only shows nothing unplugged.  a reboot is required (usually a hard reboot) to get actually the mobile register that the dock is disconnected.
  • Similarly, sometimes after a restart, the laptop will not register when I plug the dock, unless I have successfully completed a cycle of full restart where the laptop is connected to windows without the dock, and then been rebooted (no hard restart) and connected in a second time.

  My current setup is a proc xeon 64 GB of RAM and the graphics card NVidia M4000M (running in only discreet mode via the BIOS settings).  The only ones I haven't installed drivers are Intel video drivers, because I have disabled hybrid graph.

  I'll add a link to the other thread, which has been more active lately, essentially dealing with the same issues.  In this way, we have at least a place to continue the discussion...

• Question HP docking station: how to change search provider

  Hello

  I just got my first computer HP after being a Dell customer for 10 years. Its also my first Windows 7 PC.

  On the HP docking station, how can I change the search engine? I see that it is default to Bing. I can't see how to change to one of 2 choices; Support of Bing and HP. HW I add Google or any other provider?

  I've changed on IE on the top right of the browser, but I see no way to change/configure the search provider in the HP dock.

  There is an important question: If during the Xperia Z2 charge in the docking station (with closed cards) I accidentally pour water on it, what consequences will have?

  The point is that electricity and water do not mix. Get the wet handset while on the accusation is dangerous, the water could affect the direct and the sudden exit at least a fuse... worst casting, fire, or electric shock. It's just a big no!

  It is a question for DELL Chris-M.  I have a problem with the conduct of a 4K monitor from the dock surface.  The tips below gave recently.  Microsoft deny all know this for me.

  You have everything I can come back to them with to show them, it's a real problem, and no hardware is developing.  Any statement from them, or someone I can refer to them?

  Disable STD Garland
  Monitor 1 connects to the dock SP3
  Monitor 2 connects to the SP3

  Long term = solution
  Microsoft is aware of the issue with their dock. They are developing a dongle special connector to the dock that works with the process of formation of link to boost the signal strength has negotiated with external monitors. As to when this will be available in September. Note the dongle won't be available in stores. You should open a case with Microsoft and show them that the problem occurs when you connect directly to the dock AMD. They will then send you the dongle.

  Hi all

  To get help on another subject, I came across a question.  There are 5 ports USB 2.0 on my Thinkpad Advanced Dock.  They are 'native' or are they acting as a 'hub '?

  And if someone could clarify the difference, too, please.  My understanding is that 'native' ports on a full 480 Mbit/s each while the ports 'wheels' share than 480...  Isn't it?

  Got an answer to my own question...  5 ports USB 2.0 on the advanced dock 2503, are, in fact, NATIVE ports.

• The cs6 InDesign dock icon is a question mark.

  My Indesign CS6 dock icon is a question mark. On my Mac HD > Applications > adobe Indesign CS6 file is a blue folder by default and is only records of Plug-ins and utilities. All other software files and CS6 shows very well to the top/open.

  This started when I tried to upgrade to El Capitan and had file error and eventually phone with Apple care for 5 days my computer get up and run again. Computer now works on OS 10.9.5

  Any suggestions? Should I reinstall the CS6 dmg with 1 single application file?

  Problem solved.

  I reinstalled the creative suite dmg file and everything works fine. Not sure if the cleaning tool was useful or not.
