Question of Bootcamp by trying to create bootable Win7 USB

Then...

I already reset my NVRAM;

I use a wired connection;

Formatted my USB 2.0 Stick... And when I try to create a USB bootable with Windows 7 the following message is displayed:

I use the Windows 7 .iso file! What is going on!?

Only bootcamp v 4.1 and 5 will support win 7 in all, deleted MS support before that BONES 10.11 came out and bootcamp support is no longer NEW installs of it. Grandfathered installs os Win 7 can still be access by bootcamp or installed through vmware, parallels or virtual box.

El Cap comes with 6 BootCamp.

If you have not already start to a previous operating system instance if you have a TM backup or another boot device at your disposal.

    Hello;

    Let me welcome you on the HP forums!

    According to your description, my guess is that the program that you used has replaced the boot files on the hard drive, NOT on the flash drive. Thus, your PC no longer starts.

    To resolve startup problems, you need access to a PC for this phase of work in order to create the necessary support to fix your PC boot loader.

    You will need to create something called a CD-ROM to repair Win7 - which you could have done for free when Win7 was working.  This will repair the boot loader files, and if that is the problem, your PC will start OK after that.

    But now, which can be obtained (with supplement) from this link: http://neosmart.net/blog/2009/windows-7-system-repair-discs/

    When you download this file, it will be an ISO file.

    To make a CD bootable it, you will need to download and install ImgBurn: http://www.imgburn.com/

    Once you have installed, run, select the option "Save image to disk file" and select the downloaded ISO file and that it points to a blank CD.

    To make a USB bootable of it, you will need to download and install RUFUS: https://rufus.akeo.ie/

    Once you have that, it is executed in the input of the unit, use the drop down menu to select the USB stick.  Near the bottom right, where is written 'Create a bootdisk to aid', select the ISO file downloaded.
    -------------------------------------

    Boot from the media that you have created and follow the instructions in this link: http://www.sevenforums.com/tutorials/681-startup-repair.html

    You will probably need to run Startup Repair three times for him to fix all the boot loader.

    Once completed, your PC should start OK.

    Good luck

  • Trying to create a bootable Windows 7 x 64 Flash drive. Get the "invalid MS-DOS function" error message when you try to copy the file 'bootsect.exe.mui' of the Windows ISO on Flash drive

    The title pretty much everything said.  I have an installer the ISO of Windows 7 Professional x 64.  I am trying to create a bootable flash drive using these instructions:

    http://www.OSNews.com/story/20795/Installing_Windows_7_on_the_Aspire_One_or_Any_Other_Netbook

    I followed all the steps in the guide without problem.  Windows Explorer shows the drive is NTFS.  I can copy all other files of ISO on the FlashDrive without problem.  Only, I can't copy this file.  I tried to copy it to my hard drive rather than on the flash drive, and it still does not work.

    I tried to create a file with the same name by using Notepad to see if there was a problem with the file name.  I can copy this file on my hard drive flash drive, but I can't always copy the ISO file.

    I am running Windows 7 Home Premium x 64 edition and using a Corsair Flash Voyager 16 GB flash drive.

  • Questions of BootCamp

    Hello! I have a mid-2012 MBA running the latest OS. I'm trying BootCamp a x 64 Windows 7 .iso that I picked up on an old hard drive. I copied it on my MBA and whenever I try to get BootCamp running, it installs the .iso image file, with a beautiful result: error "device bootable USB could not be created.". I tried to disassemble the .iso but BootCamp keeps making it to the top every time. Also, I tried reset PRAM/SMC, different USB/.iso, pretty much everything I could think of. In addition, I tried to run only the last options BootCamp after manually download BootCamp utility 5 manually, "Version of 7 or a later version of Windows Installer" and I get an error once again: "the installation disc is not found." I'm running out of options... Help would be greatly appreciated! Thank you

    I have an MBA mid-2012 latest (El Captain) OS running.

    I'm doing a bootable Windows USB installation disk (which, in theory, is possible via BootCamp).

    I am trying to install Windows OS is Windows 7 x 64.

    The USB is formatted in FAT32 and MBR.

    Turns out I have used corrupt .iso files. Well, everything works fine now! I fixed the problem by downloading the official Microsoft Windows 10 .iso image file directly.

  • Create Bootable Linux full Installation on a Flash drive

    Hi, I tried to install Ubuntu on my 16 GB flash drive, using a live 8 GB with Ubuntu flash drive and have been broadcast in a lot of trouble. I scoured internet for several days, but all the guides I can find are to a flashdrive bootable Windows or to create a partition on your hard drive. I followed a guide windows (here) and I think it installed correctly, but the player is no longer available for the mac boot loader.

    From what I gathered online, the problem is that the reader needs a 'EFI' score with a few things on this subject for the boot loader to recognize. I tried to create the partition with Gparted on my USB Ubuntu live, but he could not format in hfs +, and even if I could create the partition on my own I don't know where to go to from there. Any help would be much appreciated.

    Please forgive me if I said anything wrong above, I work with tools, I only half understand now.

  • Repair your startup disk Bootcamp disappearing after you create the new partition

    . After some research, I found that it was the way forward to create a separate partition, and so I did another partition.

    I didn't know it would affect my Windows partition that I thought it was completely different.

    So now, when I start it up, there is no option to start with Windows. But when I boot the Mac and select Startup disk, it displays Boot Camp is still there, and all my files etc. are still there.

    I tried to create one separate partition (other than Bootcamp). After that its done and I started my computer, I found that the option to boot Windows (Bootcamp startup disk) has disappeared. But I still see boot camp Mac files. Any solution for this? Thank you.

    (I tried to find this solution on the discussion Forum, and I found: repair Boot Camp after having created the new partition, however, I'm not able to follow these instructions. any help would be appreciated)

  • How to create bootable CDs for Tecra M7?

    Hello

    I just got my Tecra M7 and want to split the drive into 2 partitions. I found several tools to do this without losing the data on the existing partition, but they all seem to rely on the use of a boot disk. I don't have a floppy drive, so I tried to create a bootable CD.

    I use CDBurner XP Pro and this tool gives me the ability to create a bootable XP image or emulate a floppy disk. If I select the programs that I want to run after startup (the partition in my case manager) and use an XP image and start the laptop (by pressing F12 and selecting the CD player to start), nothing happening, just a flashing cursor, but the system does not meet all the keys. If I use the emluation floppy the system starts and I get an A: cursor. If I look at the contents of A:, I see several programs, such as format and fdisk (according to the .ima file that I used during the creation of the CD). But I do not see the files I added, so I can't run the partition manager.

    How can I create a bootable CD that contains the files that I want to run after starting?

    Thank you
    Joost

    Hello

    For HARD drive and score editor, I use PowerQuest Partition Magic V8.0 (Build 1242). You can install the application as usual it and start the application Windows XP application. This tool is very powerful and allows you to edit the HDD as you wish for it.

  • I am trying to create a sequence to be used as a primary key in an Oracle table

    Hi guys

    I ODI version 10.3.5 and I'm trying to create a sequence that fills with row_id for a table. The schema is a database.
    And I want that this element will be the primary key of the table that is responsible to run the interface but I get questions.

    So please advise me.

    Hello

    Can you please provide the following details:
    1. What is the area of the execution of your sequence? Is it source, scene or target.
    2. what IKM you use (hopefully, you run the sequence in the staging or the target)?

    My understanding is when you check in not Null, all your lines going to the error table. So it gives no error.

    When you uncheck the not Null, it is in error because the database does not Null values in the primary key column.

    You can do the following to check if your sequence is working properly.
    Try to write an Insert Select query to DB and run it and see if it works properly.

    i.e.

    Insert (EMPL)
    EMPNO,
    ENAME,
    EMPLOYMENT,
    BISHOP.
    HIREDATE,
    SAL,
    COMM,
    DEPTNO

    )
    Select S_EMPNO. NEXTVAL,
    ENAME,
    EMPLOYMENT,
    BISHOP.
    HIREDATE,
    SAL,
    COMM,
    DEPTNO

    from EMP

    or if you can provide your query in this format, it will help find the question quickly. Please also indicate the KM.

    This isn't enough of a description to know what you're trying to do, or how you plan to use the service. The query you provided is completely irrelevant to the question you are asking.

    You ask about functions in pipeline? Here is an example of this

    -- type to match emp record
    create or replace type emp_scalar_type as object
      (EMPNO NUMBER(4) ,
       ENAME VARCHAR2(10),
       JOB VARCHAR2(9),
       MGR NUMBER(4),
       HIREDATE DATE,
       SAL NUMBER(7, 2),
       COMM NUMBER(7, 2),
       DEPTNO NUMBER(2)
      )
      /

    -- table of emp records
    create or replace type emp_table_type as table of emp_scalar_type
      /

    -- pipelined function

    create or replace function get_emp( p_deptno in number )
      return emp_table_type
      PIPELINED
      as
       TYPE EmpCurTyp IS REF CURSOR RETURN emp%ROWTYPE;
        emp_cv EmpCurTyp;
        l_rec  emp%rowtype;
      begin

        loop
          fetch emp_cv into l_rec;
          exit when (emp_cv%notfound);
          pipe row( emp_scalar_type( l_rec.empno, LOWER(l_rec.ename),
              l_rec.job, l_rec.mgr, l_rec.hiredate, l_rec.sal, l_rec.comm, l_rec.deptno ) );
        end loop;
