• Question of Eve Equium A60-155

  Hi all

  I an Equium A60-155, which was set up a few times (some with DVD original recovery and a few with the Windows XP Pro CD standard), but has still a problem persistent... whenever the unit to standby and then brought out of standby, it fires upward, but with a black screen and no response from the keyboard. The only way to get into Windows is turned off manually and restart normally.

  Someone else had this problem or a solution? I think it might actually be the hardware at fault because he had so many different re - installed.

  I read that the graphics driver and BIOS upgrade might be very useful in such cases.
  You should compare the pre-installed driver and BIOS versions with the versions on the Toshiba page. If there is a newer version, then I recommend to update these applications.

  Logical question of Eve:
  Enterprise Edition Oracle 10.2.0.2.
  
  M work waiting LOGIC for 1 year but still i have not had this...
  I m not be countinuously no data foud errror on the logic of the standby database.
  
  I found the table causing the problem (db_logstdby_events) and jumped this table and table instantiated using the package bwlow:
  
  exec dbms_logstdby.instantiate_table (...)
  
  but when I start to apply the logical waiting process it gives again some were found for the new data table:
  
  I even tried to instantiate the table to EXPORT/IMPORT assistance over time, but the same problem same deal with.
  
  As much as I knew abt the error that is:
  Table1:
  ID
  10
  20
  30
  
  
  Now if sql apply processes on standby logic tent performs the operation of (for example) updated as below
  
  Update table1 set id = 100 where id = 50;
  
  above request will not be completed cos he'll never find 50 values which is not in the table. That is why this error coming...
  
  
  Now my concern is... no user didn't dare change/make of such changes on the logic ensures. So if there is no change in the tables, then apply it sqll should get all the values to be needded for an update...

  How do you know that the database pending is compatible with the primary?

  Are there opportunities has one or several tables have been created on the eve before they were created on the primary? (If Yes check in DBMS_LOGSTDBY. INSTANTIATE_TABLE)

  Or jump and re-instantiate the table.

  Allows to consider from scratch,

  What is a controlfile :--> its a small binary file that records the physical structure of the database.
  The control file includes:
  The name of the database
  The names and locations of the partners of the data files and redo log files
  The timestamp of the creation of the database
  The current sequence number
  Control point information

  Now, down to backup controlfile--> will have the exact backup of the controlfile used by the database (including the role of the database) Please note that this controlfile cannot serve as a controlfile standby when you try to use it it will return the error

  Backup controlfile as Eve--> will anything similar as for the previous command except for the role of database that are not primary indicator but would be pahysical Eve, all other information would be same.. like with it it will not be an exact replica of the primary database.

  It is the only difference from what I understand concepts.

• question about sync of drain plug and Eve delay block

  If a session in my primary database applies a large transaction, then it could cause to delay block drain plug, which is writing the changed blocks to the data files in the primary database will be delayed until an attempt is made to read them, now that they will be written to the data files. However redo generation for the big transacation is not delayed, nor is archiving, and so do it again is sent to the database Eve with a minimum of delay. It is not possible or even likely that the large transaction will have been written to pending data files then written to the primary data files? If so, is it important?

  I support unofficially about 10 users of Sat Pro Tour of A60 tops mainly, many of them have problems with power saver applet after installation of xp sp2. Start-up the energy saver fails with a criticism 0x7E (I think) error and try to uninstall the cmdlet fails causing a laptop that suspend & resume - hard remains necessary to start. Basically everyone has ideas on how to solve this problem?

  Yes even if you give "edit the editing of database" or "alter database mount standby database", there is no difference, because controlfile is the type of sleep.

  The command above just goes up, it doesn't start any recovery.
  If you recover the database pending, it will apply only available archives.

  you need to automate the process of recovery as

  SQL > change database recovery managed standby database disconnect from the session.

  Then recovery will be automated.

• Satellite A-L50-M6S - question SSD

  Recently purchased by Satellite L50-A-M6S computer laptop. It worked well on standard included HDD.
  I decided to replace the HDD with SSD (Intel SSD 520 Series), previously used in an another Toshiba laptop.

  After the replacement, in the first instance, I can't boot from SSD, proved that the SSD is not detected correctly when the SATA in the BIOS settings are defined in performance, ok, Perfomance mode cut mode, but it's strange in my opinion.

  Then during work, I decided to take a walk and closed laptop cover (configured to display mode "Eve" near the coverage). After I have opened and BSOD occurred. Later that day, same sequence of actions - an another BSOD.

  I analyzed superficially minidumps windows:

  So, as you can see there is problem with SSD. I tried to test this on another computer portable Portfolio, not such a problem.
  Just in case where tested PC memory with memtest86 - no problems found. BIOS update - nothing has changed.

  At first, I must say that it is user forum so I don't think someone developers Toshiba can get this question and contact you directly.
  I also use the SSD (non-Toshiba one) with my camera and to be honest, it's a little strange to me to have this kind of problems.

  Can you please tell us which OS you have installed on it? Have you installed original recovery image that you got with your laptop?

  The TV would display different notification when the splash screen would be activated.
  If the TV turns off mode No Signal, the message on the screen in question no signal. will appear in the screen saver.

  You can disable the mode standby in Power up Mode (check user manual page 29)

  My A660-10W (new) was wrong and Toshiba (Mafil in Israel) has changed the hard drive.
  Now the computer acts differently that before when I got it like new.

  Laptop can't handle in different way. I guess you are using the recovery of images (Toshiba original Win7) and parameters are exactly the same as before.

  I bought one of these on Christmas Eve and I'm usually impressed. Debated between Lenovo and another fire of Kindle, but chose to Lenovo for the SD card option and most of the time vanilla Android OS.
  Some issues, although the orthographic value USA does not work properly. RAM is totally off, clog up, and basically needs to be restarted to read the video or anything else. Video is messed up on hulu plus, voice not synchronized with the image. This reflection needs the firmware/jelly bean update.
  Questions: can I use a female male micro USB cable USB cord to connect a USB to transfer files, play the video? Is this thing button under the camera lens cover - in the South-West of the lens of the camera - a reset button? If so, why it is not mentioned in the documentation anywhere?
  Overall, I like this tablet for the price, but feel that Lenovo must fix some bugs asap, wait a little longer for a Lenovo product.

  Power save comes into play after a few minutes of play Eve, an online game.   I then have to manually turn off the PC before it can be restarted.  I adjusted the power settings on the PC and it happens to sleep.  I contacted Dell and downloaded a difficulty that has not worked.  I have a question pending for Eve support staff, but thought that I can get a fix here.

  Check power Panel ctrl if win xp, and together turn it off hard drive option never, you can also disable the screen saver, disable standby of the system or in Hibernate besides.

• Answer question 6500 wireless fax

  I was just off a cannon MFP HP 6500, instructions aren't really good!

  My question is that the HP can be set to auto-answer, which is a pain when you also have an answering machine connected to the line, so I turned off auto-answer, I just used the land line and noticed the MFP out of Eve as Canon has done, this means that the 6500 will listen to the line (even with auto answer off) and if she hears a fax carrier will pick up? I hope that the answer is Yes and that's what would make the gun, but there is no mention of this feature in all the instructions I've read.

  Hi David,

  I work for HP and noticed your post. Since I am familiar with the printer you mentioned, I thought I will answer you.

  This printer will be picking up the incoming fax when he hears the fax tone, even if the line was actually answered by the answering machine. So that this works, there are a few conditions.

  (1) the printer should be set to auto answer. Is there a button to auto-answer on the right side of the front of the printer next to the switch.

  The fire must be turned on.

  (2) the number of rings must be set higher than the answering machine.

  If the answering machine takes up to 2 rings on the printer 3 or more rings. (This will essentially turn on listening)

  The number of rings can be set by pressing the setup button on the front panel of the printer, right to the Basic setting Fax arrow, select OK, then right arrow to rings before answer.

  (3) the answering machine must be connected to the printer and not any other wall jack in the House. In this way, the printer can control the answering machine records the sound of incoming fax, etc.
