in the client Xp I configured the vpn connection correctly according to the examples I found in the Cisco documents.
When I try to connect from xp client nothing happens I turn on debugging and I get this error:

I recommend something similar. But instead to "no protocol-tunnel-vpn l2tp-ipsec", you can also place the order
"vpn-tunnel-Protocol l2tp ipsec" in the DefaultRAGroup tunnel-group concerned both group policy. Just make sure you don't violate one of your other VPN. See this for more details:

How to know the hierarchy of what the ASA uses to match a package? Since a package can only correspond to a class-map, I created the access list to refuse statements to ensure that the packet matches what I want. Example - tcp-traffic-acl access list, I didn't include the traffic tunnel so I denied the traffic of the tunnel at the beginning of the access list. This is the correct procedure given that I did not know what order the ASA aligns packages to my access to my class-maps lists. Y at - it an order? TG-voice has priority in the plan of the policy is it automatically get used to match first?

Here I have only an access list. How know if order used to filter packets? If I don't want the tcp-traffic-acl include NOT packages that could possibly correspond in the VPN tunnel that I put a refusal at the beginning of the list of access for VPN traffic to be sure? What would be the rate used by the ASA to determine if a packet matches a rule of class-card for a package would correspond to multiples, but from what I've read, that it does not get included in other once it corresponds to the first match. Understand?

NAC Appliance with ASA (for remote user VPN)
I have a pair of firewall 5520 cisco which is used as a VPN gateway (for remote user VPN) and perimeter firewall Internet (to provide outbound internet connectivity).
We allow the NAC to remote VPN users. I have it will be deployed with active 3 layer inband.
The problem with this design is that how to ensure that outgoing internet traffic does not pass through the CASE?
I heard about couple of optioins:
-ACB (for send only IP subnet to VPN users remote to go through CASE)
-Version 8.x characteristic of ASA (Restrcit access to VLAN under Group Policy).
I intend to do with ASA firewall where I can set a new subinterface on the SAA (with a new tag VLAN) and under the group policy for remote user VPN, I select the option to "restrict access to the new VLAN.
My question is: is - it still works (even if the firewall have a route to the internal network by using the 'inside' interface and NOT the new interface of the NAC). If this does not work, please let me know what are the other options for this type of deployment.

Remote access VPN with ASA 5510 by using the DHCP server

Can someone please share your knowledge to help me find out why I'm not able to receive an IP address on the remote access VPN connection so that I can get an IP local pool DHCP?
I'm trying to set up remote access VPN with ASA 5510. It works with dhcp local pool but does not seem to work when I tried to use an existing DHCP server. It is tested in an internal network as follows:

No Internet connectivity with ASA 5505 VPN remote access
Hello
I configured ASA 5505 for remote access VPN to allow a remote user to connect to the Remote LAN officce. VPN works well, users can access Office Resource of LAN with sahred etc., but once they have connected to the VPN, they are unable to browse the internet?
Internet navigation stop working as soon as their customer VPN connect with ASA 5505 t, once they are disconnected from VPN, once again they can browse the internet.
Not ASA 5505 blocking browsing the internet for users of VPN? Is there anything else that I need congfure to ensure that VPN users can browse the internet?
I have to configure Split Tunnleing, NATing or routing for VPN users? or something else.

What you run into is a default behavior of the ASA in which she will not route traffic back on the same interface on which he arrived. So if the VPN traffic arrived on the external interface the ASA does not want to send back on the external interface for Internet access.
You have at least 2 options:
-You can configure split tunneling, as you mention, and this would surf the Internet to continue during the use of VPN.
-You can set an option on the ASA to allow traffic back on the same interface (this is sometimes called crossed). Use the command
permit same-security-traffic intra-interface

IAM components have weblogic. then ok. But you don't need to ohs2 here, unless your application itself requires OHS for hosting. But here, you mention that it is fair to IAM - so no need to OSH here. IAM installing requires weblogic.
wanted to know where should I create provider (weblogic1 or weblogic2), and install webgate (OHS1 or OHS2 or both)?

When you post the code, you'll want to post a [url http://sscce.org] NBS so that it is clear that what you try to do it. For example:
1. in the validation of code, put {code} before and after him, then he will be readable.

4. There is no such thing as bool. It is a Boolean.

To answer your question: If you create Test 10 objects, then, given that foundThing is an instance variable, there will be 10 variables entirely independent foundThing. An adjustment will not affect the other. In this case, the easiest thing to do would be to foundThing static, so that there is only one copy which is shared by the Test class as a whole. This isn't the only way, or even the best way in all cases, but you have enough other problems to face, so for now to keep things simple.
Finally, when you have a variable that is shared by multiple threads, you need to either make all the access to this variable synchronized on the same lock (reads and writes), or you need to declare the volatile variable.

Question of AnyConnect with Cisco ASA 5505
I keep hitting my head against the wall on this one. Whenever I try to connect to the AnyConnect SSL VPN I get the following error
"No address available for an SVC connection.
Up and down, I checked that my VPN pool be present and assigned. I have removed/re-added it so many times. I use the SMDA to implement through the wizard. Any help please?

Cisco Firepower 4110 Clustering with ASA and DFT
Hi all
We have a pair of Cisco 4110 firepower devices and have them clustered for the ASA Security Module.
There seems to be no option to add an additional logical device for the threat of fire power defence Module, so can only assume this is not supported in an active/active state.
More on the SAA Module there is no tab of remote access VPN Configuration.
So my question is how to incorporate the functionality of defense threat in the ASA, I suppose that this would be by the engine unloading in the advanced settings, but requires the SAA be in Active mode / standby and the power of fire threat defense logical device will be available?
Second question is it would have been better buy the Cisco ASA 5585 X with the Module of firepower in support of all the regular features of the SAA as well as traffic inspection unloading to the module of firepower?
I found some documentation on the Cisco site, but tend to lose sight of where the reference to FTD and not be supported of the Clustering or RAS VPN not supported by ASA or FXOS docs, so I was hoping for some insight on here.
Appreciate any clarity around the support of devices 4110 of the firepower and configuration of the FTD and ASA combines the features supported.
We run ASA v9.6 (2) and FXOS 2.0.1 (86).

On a firepower 4100 Series chassis, you can run a single logical unit. Several logical devices are supported only on the 9300 firepower that supports up to 3 modules of security.
So choosing between types of module ASA and DFT (or technically you can also deploy the RADware vDefense Pro but it is mainly for service providers).
One or the other and never the two.
The module of the SAA supports remote access VPN over 4110 of firepower. I put one in place personally nothing this month. Have you recorded the chassis with the smart licence and applied ASA licenses (basic an and 3DES / AES)?
The ASA modules take supported the HA and inter-chassis clustering on the 4100 series hardware.
If you run picture FTD, there is currently no support for remote access VPN. It is a high priority position of roadmap for a future version (post - 6.2). FTD does not currently support the chassis inter cluster but that should be in version 6.2.

AnyConnect 4.0 license with ASA-5515-FPWR

I have a small question, where I can't find a clear answer for:
A customer wants to buy a new ASA for a showroom. He wants to connect 30 phones VPN and 60 VPN users, where only 10 of them are simultaneously connected. Then we would have two choices now
-Either go with the 3.5 Anyconnect licensing, with a premium SSL 50 license and activation phones VPN and mobility AC licenses
- Or go to AC 4.0 license, where we would have to license 100 users with MORE licenses.
My questions are:
-Can I any other / more license on the SAA (i.e. SSL)
-Where to install the license
-How is the number of users (i.e. of the ad groups, local accounts)
Is there a documentation clearly indicating the answers

If you want that the phone itself to be the endpoint remote VPN access, then Yes - you need VPN phone license which requires in turn AnyConnect Premium (for 3.x installations)
"Plus" AnyConnect (for 4.x) includes 'VPN functionality for PC and mobile platforms, including per-app VPN on mobile platforms and phone Cisco VPN' (referring to the January 2015 of the ordering Guide AnyConnect 4.0 version)

Problem with ASA 5505 VPN remote access
After about 1 year to have the VPN Client from Cisco connection to an ASA 5505 with no problems, all of a sudden one day it stops working. The customer is able to get a connection to the ASA and browse the local network for only about 30 seconds after the connection. After that, no access is available to the network behind the ASA. I have tried everything I can think of to try to solve the problem, but at this point, I'm just banging my head against a wall. Anyone know what could cause this?

a way vpn with asa to the 800 router

I have a site to site vpn set up between a asa 5540 and a 800 router
I want only the vpn to be initiated from the asa with the 800 remote listen incoming connections
I know that I can define the type of connection on the asa as only come but I can find an equivalent command to answer only for the 800 remote
can anyone point me in the right direction or is it enough to simply configure the asa as are created only for this encryption card

Hello
I recommend you configure the tunnel as a dynamic to static tunnel VPN, the ASA will be the static counterpart, so it will be the initiator and the router will never be able to establish the connection.
The ASA will be a common L2L configuration, but the router will use a dynamic encryption card.

Question - the upgrade with 3 USB card and esata
I have an early 2008 Mac Pro Quad core 2.67 going to have maxed out RAM soon and are planning to get a couple of 2 TB seagates Macgurus. I'm a little embarrassed by my lack of knowledge, but I'll put my questions over there anyway. Last year, I bought a 120 GB ssd card Accelsior PCIe mercury OWC - not being aware of the s and outs of things, but I knew it wasn't a port multiplier with two external esata ports. so my question is this: since I have to live with this card can I connect the esata ports to discs in separate outdoor pens and then through disk utility make a raid 0 set, and what size of disc must be effective for the cost the least? I intend to get a USB 3.0 also so that I can use this speed also. My other plans must be a drive of fusion with the ssd 120 on the map of Accelsior with a disk of 1td existing in my drive for the system Bay and replace all small readers of seagate more big HARD drive and I'm wondering if the 2 TB is the largest capacity I can use internally. I am on a very limited budget so that's the reason why I'm thinking hdd and if there is someone with advice on a card USB 3 I would appreciate your comments - in fact, I would be happy to comment on everything I mentioned, I'm a little out of the loop on the evolution in recent years. It is possible to configure a raid with two disks of two PPI crd esata ports would there be an advantage with drives of 2 TB or 1 TB disks would work as well for raid 0. Do I intend to put in storage for Time Machine with the USB 3 map, and what size disc would be appropriate for Time Machine? I'm not lazy and waiting for someone to find out - I did weeks of research to get to this point and I just need a little advice. Time machine is a USB 2 connection. No real reason for a USB 3 connection.
There is no RAID in disk utility in El Capitan. Apple dropped the disc utility in El Capitan. However, you can still the Terminal commands to configure RAID.
