• Questions about adding a Skype number

  First timer here, here are my questions, I live in Thailand, former U.S. citizen, have for years had major problems with government agencies to reach me by phone. My billing address is in CA, my verified phone number is thai. I believe that with a Skype CA phone number I can eliminate these problems, correct? As the Government agencies and US automated banking systems cannot recognize a 11 digit number.

  OK, so I did not have a first core of Galaxy attached to any diet, talk with a slot for sim card available. My intention is to buy a prepay sim for the available location local, and then add a Skype number. This Skype number wouldn't be usable wifi connected. A one year subscription is $52.25, but the site says nothing about other calling some how fees, or I've missed?

  With the second sim with a Skype number, dedicated to the United States calls only, and I was able to differentiate between the two by which the sim was used to receive the call. I receive a message if a call was made for me if it is not connected to wifi?

  Could I have the call transferred to my Thai number, if I were to buy call forwarding also?

  I intend to wait until I have answers from the community before I do anything.

  Hi, what you're trying to do is possible in principle, but you do not add the number of Skype to a SIM.

  What happens, is that you install the Skype app on Google Store on your base premium Galaxy then receive calls and outgoing calls via the Skype in wifi or mobile data, if you add a local SIM card.

  Check Skype calling subscriptions and distribution rates to the United States and the Thailand (subscriptions especially if you make a lot of calls or transfer calls to a number of Thai). If you buy a subscription or even 2 subscriptions (1 USA and 1 Thai) then you get a 50% discount when you buy a Skype number for 12 months, which is a good deal.

  The application on your Galaxy will inform you of all the missed calls. I suggest you only install Skype on a PC too to see the full selection of purchase options in Tools/Options. You must configure the voicemail here and select this option to allow anyone to call your Skype number. Spend some time looking at all the options that are available to you.

  You can transfer your Skype CA number to a number of Thai, if you wish and have a subscription or a credit to pay for it.

  Perhaps start by installing Skype on your base premium Galaxy from the game store, sign in with your account and take a look at all the parameters available on the app. Setting most are in the app now except setting up voicemail that can be made on the program Skype on a PC.

• Question of "signing in" Skype

  So I tried everything, I have re-installed Skype and I deleted my McAfee antivirus completely. When I try to connect, it says signing in for about five minutes and then says unable to connect. Please help, I have not been able to use Skype for about a month because of this problem.

  Hi all
  I am a new learner of Flex and action script. I just got a very simple question that, for example, if I have 3 HBox:

  So in my class action, for example, if I use:

  Then my model does not, I think that there is a mistake or something. So if I want to create a single component registered in containers of 3 or more different, can I do this?

  Yes, a single instance of a component may have a parent.

  You try to 'text' in three parts. Create a new instance for each component.

  I live in Italy and I work for a Dutch company. I'll have to call a large number of Dutch customers and they should be able to remember. It's very expensive to call with my phone to other countries, so I was thinking of using Skype for this. Of course, if I use Skype to call, I also want people to call me on Skype while I don't need to use my phone at all. That's why I read on the Skype number that seems a good idea. However, I have a few questions.
  1. I understand that does not allow the number of Skype to call, because you have to buy credits. I understand that, but my question is if buy Skype credit and I'm connected with my Skype number, when I call clients, they see my Skype number? It would be perfect if they can remember easily.

  A number of Skype is for people to call you only and didn't need to make credit or any other subscription that I am aware, so you get your number Skype in Holland and they can contact you at the national rate rather than international rates.

  You can set up identification of the calling line, this "Caller ID" Skype call, you can use your Skype number in there, or your number of laptop if you want to receive texts, your choice, but be aware that some parts of the country, telecommunications companies and even individuals turn off this option isn't 100% that each person you are calling will see your number , but most.

  To make calls from phone numbers you need credits or a subscription, from what I've seen and developed, subscriptions work cheaper than the credits and the bigger the package you sub for best case, given you call another European country, I'd watch the landline and mobile phones Europe unlimited, but you can just get a package for the call of the Nederland , your choice, but if you pay every month it's more expensive to pay each year.

  If you have a subscription, you get a discount on your Skype number subscription, look the best deal for you.

• Skype prevents the removal of empty folders!

  1. I use Skype only for Conference calls and interaction of students in university level and regular group tasks. In other words, I refuse any connection to anyone do not actively participate in a class with me at one time or another for the next two years.
     
     Now, I noticed a "remarkable" feature in Skype for these last two days (48 hours).
     
     I had to remove the empty of my desktop system folders and not until I completely closed and you leave Skype (ver. 7.22.85.109 on Windows 7 x 64) made this stop "have action."
     
     In other words, when Skype does NOT work my OS works as expected.
     
     It should be noted here is;
     
     1: I've not linked, shared or any files included in a file sharing activity to any else via Skype or a Skype session.
     
     2: the files are empty! Deleting the file, simply not work records.
     
     3: the content of the folders is not associated with uni and so has no objective sharing ever existed with or by the use of Skype.
     
     4: no application used to interact with the content of the folders have interacted with Skype never directly or indirectly.
     
     So now, the question remains:
     "Why is Skype lock up my empty folders, preventing them to be deleted"?
     
     The path to these files are NOT in systems or paths of Skype but on other players or on my desk!

  There is nothing interesting in the information "filtered". The only one I can see, is that you have VirtualBox running application, so you can stop it and see if that changes anything.

  In addition, the version of ( Internet Explorer (IE11) installed on your computer is not refreshed (judging by the mashtml.dll error messages shown in the log). Know that no matter what browser you use, Skype is still using IE engine installed on your computer.

  I just realized that Skype is the only program that I use when calls are down in fact sometimes. Why it does this? Curse works very well, Teamspeak, too. Skype is the only program I know that sometimes descends just calls without a visible reason.

  Try to have a computer to use all your download speed and use Teamspeak, if you don't have any set of QoS, you will probably arrive after awhile (reconnection) cause of time long response on the server.

  In short, in most cases where you get dropped to Skype, it's because the quality of the service is bad, most Skype drops occur after you said 'I can't hear you", suggesting that your bandwidth is low or if you have latency high (using this route to the other host).

  Uninstall your software Xsplit, restart, and then see if the problem persists.

  Looks like the issue is on the computer of the end user and not yours!

  Check with the end user if they can see you on Skype.  And ask them to install the latest version of the Skype software.

• N5520 very low Audio with Skype

  I have some audio problems with Skype on my DELL N5520. The sound works perfectly when I watch movies or listen to songs but I get questions when I use Skype. Video is fine but the incoming auido is muffled and low even if the volume is high. I saw a similar problem posted here:

  The sound is clear when I use headphones, but not with built-in speakers.

  Hello. Dell support does not list a model named N5520, so I'll assume that you have a 5520 15R model. (Support Dell and Dell sales often use different names for the same model).

  If anything in the drop-down menus, try to reinstall your sound driver Conexant and then again look at the Skype options. If there is still nothing then try to reinstall Skype. To get your audio driver go 5520 15R download page, select your operating system from the drop-down list box, and then expand the Audio category.
