Question of proportions

I have windows 7 installed in my laptop... When I tried to play "NFS Most Wanted" the game would not hold the entire screen. The game only uses a square in the screen area. I have searched and tried all the video settings in the game and it does not solve the problem. How can I change the image format for this game. Is it possible to use windows options to solve this problem... If so, please provide a list drawn up by steps in the instructions. Thanks :)

You may be able to make the game to adapt to the full screen, but it looks better in the original
format as it extends sideways to fit a large screen.
Many other games will fit widescreen, but chop off the top and bottom of the image
in order to adapt without stretching, which also draws in shortcut field of vision a bit.

For NFS - MW, I use a special launcher that allows you to select a resolution.
I use 1600 X 1024 on my 1920 X 1080 screen. This res makes the image a little wider, but only it extends a small amount, and you can still see the front of the car from the inside view (the driving position I like better).
The Launcher used to appear on the website below, but I don't know if it's still there.

It should also be options in your graphics control panel to force the big screen with
everything. With Nvidia, it's to ' set the office size and position "------"Scaling ".

    whenever I did export to a file, the program puts in an image format widescreen.  I don't want that.  It meanders off to cut off the heads and to distort things.

    How can I tell iMovie to keep the original proportions and NOT export by a widescreen ratio?

    Thank you!

    will be

    Unfortunately, iMovie 10.1.2 operates in a 16:9 format and there is no way to change this.  Once your film is shared, you will be able to convert the 16:9 4:3 using a free download application as the brake hand or Streamclip.  But there are other applications that do this job as well.

    I'm very new to all this, so I don't know is it's a simple question with an obvious answer, but I thought that it is better to throw in the community. I'm currently editing a film I shot on 16mm film, so it would be in the Academy report. When I had digitally transferred it they provided the black bars on the left and right sides of the framework so, technically, it's a picture big screen.

  • Question of proportions when you replace a clip in Premiere CS6 with a Composition After Effects CS6

    Please help! When I try to right click on a clip in my timeline first and replace with After Effects composition, I can do it, but problems ensue.

    After Effects lights, but the composition will be in 4 / 3, even if the project and clip that I'm alters were the two 16:9.

    I was able to change the aspect ratio of 16:9 in After Effects and then change what I wanted, but an hour later, when I had finsihed, saved and went to the first, he smushed the clip replaced 4:3 in the first.

    To reitterate:

    When I replace a clip in first with a mock-up of the AE, AE opens in 4:3.

    I can change the model of EI in 16:9, but when I save and return to the first, there smushed the model of EI down to 4:3.

    What can I do to stop this?

    If you right click on the item in the project Panel, then select Edit / interpret the images you will see a Pixel Aspect Ratio.

    What did he say?

    If she says 0.9091 then change to 1.2121

    If she says something, come back and let me know. Then I will have a different answer for you.

    Also, what is the size of the frame of the video.

  • Sony A7ii 3:2 or 16:9

    Hello

    I have a question about proportions. I shoot the pictures in mode 3:2, but when I go to video, I have to change to 16:9 (I guess by defaul HD 16:9 video, right?). I want to just make sure I'm not shooting video of 3:2. Thank you!

    When you save a movie, the camera will select the proportions appropriate for some Record Setting selected.

    If you selected XAVC S or AVCHD the 16:9 aspect ratio, and if you select MP4 proportions will be 4:3.

  • Video resolution is not not to

    I've shot two videos with my Sony camcorder. The second film was a short that

    I opened in After Effects CS 3. I used CC scatterize on it for use with the first clip.

    Sony camcorder movies are mi/gal.  I made the movie I got in After Effects

    as a .avi.  I will try to explain my problem my best.  The first film that does not

    go through A.E. when open in VLC, the width will completely button reduce.

    The movie that came out of A.E. when opened in VLC, the width does not go far.

    I checked the resolution and two clips said 720 x 480.  In A.E. I made the film in

    NTSCDV and NTSCDV big screen. Still the same problem. Now, I'm not even a novice

    This kind of thing. I just try to make a funny film for my grandchildren. Is it because the movie

    mpg and another avi?  I think I have a converter to convert mpg to avi movie.

    I'm not sure if I explained well enough.  When I put the two films together, the

    one of A.E. comes with a black border on the width.  Thank you.

    Sounds like a question of proportions of pixels.  If you shot in 720 x 480 wide screen on the camcorder, the pixels are supposed to be stretched a bit to fit wide screen.

    But before that goes any further, even more important is the following - what you will do NEXT with your AE render file?  Make a DVD?  Do a quicktime movie to play on the computer?  This stuff is important.  Usually with AE, you start with the specifications of the delivery and back.

    You should also know that AE CS3 doesn't play well with the mpeg video.  If you are planning to get fancy in your AE work in the future, I would like to transcode videos to another Media container & Codec so that AE 1) behaves and preserve 2) you image quality as much as possible.  Personally, I like quicktime movies in Photo JPEG, PNG or Animation codecs for it.

    Camera {}

    The video stream provided by the viewfinder of the camera is dictated by the sensor of the camera, not the control of the camera. The stream will be automatically resized fit within the limits, but retains the proportions of the output of the sensor.

    To specifically answer your question, you cannot crop the preview of the camera.

  • More small font of J2ME on Blackberry "BOLD"? small proportional, plain?

    Hello, what is the smallest police achievable J2ME on the Blackberry Bold? I ask this, because

    style = "plain" face = "proportional" size = "small".

    seems to be already very large and very bold? Is there a way to get a smaller font, without leaving the environment "J2ME"?

    I would first like to say Java and GNU license gave me a very big heart. This whole community has helped me tremendously to learn how to code, and give in return is the least I could do. I hope that the community in turn help me when I reached the rough places in the future. Don't forget I've been working on this code and it took me hours of exhaustian and works well and I am now it give for free, so please do the same for others. It is the idea not the code that makes money.

    That said, I present to you:

    How to solve the problem of police of blackberry in 5 minutes of coding a moped.

    (please link to this topic as much as possible)

    Step 1: Analyze what is happening between the 2 separate API and why it is so difficult to change fonts.

    Step 2: Ask how are packages come into conflict with each other?

    Step 3: Ask you... can I change the font in general?

    Step 4: Run the text following preference somewhere in the constructor... and somewhere off of the paint method.

    final FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies();

        font10 = fontFamily[0].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16);
        Font.setDefaultFont(font10);

    Keep in mind that you must have the good net_rim_api.jar installed (or the appropriate folder and configuration via the Toolbox correctly)... and in my case, the following code is at the top of my class file and I use an external library on my toolbox.

    import net.rim.device.api.ui.Font;
    import net.rim.device.api.ui.FontFamily;

    now, it's just a natural function used for user interface of blackberry and midlets applications using the Blackberry net_rim_api.jar as an external module.

    Those of you who are running a blackberrycanvas or a touch event for the blackberry storm should automatically know what I speak. Send me an Email if you are at all confused, that I'll get back to you.

    Anyway go...

    Run this natural function and go ahead and test it using a common g.drawString ("Hello World", 20,20, g.TOP | g.LEFT);

    Here you should notice that your policy has changed the font specified by Font.setDefaultFont (font10);

    This is because the static method changes all fonts... including police BlackBerryMenu I might add.

    Then, perform the following steps:

    Step 5: Ask yourself... but what happens if I separated from the places that need separate policies?

    Good question... I had this one for awhile and found a brilliant answer.

    Note the following points:

    Font BBFont = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();

    Here is what just happened, the above code catches the current default font defined for the lcdui police. Or in our case, the police of the Midlet. As I looked into it... There is no method to create a nice font that corresponds to the blackberry one again... but after calling

    Font.setDefaultFont (font10);

    in this case the police is referenced as...

    net.rim.device.api.ui.Font

    It amends the police for both the system and the

    javax.microedition.lcdui.Font

    It is signifigant for us because now, because we can store the new settings, we can make the magic happen.

    Step 6: Perform magic with the fonts.

    Store any desired blackberry font using the following...

    final FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies();

        Font font10 = fontFamily[4].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16);
        Font.setDefaultFont(font10);
        javax.microedition.lcdui.Font bbfont = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();

    do not hesitate to make the police a variable, you can reference from the whole class... or keep it in another class if you wish.

    then do this in the paint method...

    protected void paint(Graphics g){

    g.setFont(bbfont);
    g.drawString("Hello World",20,20,g.TOP|g.LEFT);

    }

    You should find that the police has changed very nicely your new font... here make a function out of it, change the fonts to the top.

    Step 7: bask in the glory of magic.

    So you tell me if I call Font.setDefaultFont (myfont);

    and I use a blackberry police... it will change the current font... then I can go then enter this police and store it and then call at a later date, and it will use this font?

    I mean that Times New Roman!

    Well, if they have Times New Roman can be my guest...

    but later I want to black Ariel...

    Yes same process be my guest...

    But man according to the forums, I can't do that...

    Yes, and you can quote me on this one there according to JavaLover53 you can use what font you want, as long as you do the police first... and it is strongly recommended that you do outside the paint function and you store fonts in one easy to access place in memory, namely the Summit also recommended

    import net.rim.device.api.ui.Font;import net.rim.device.api.ui.FontFamily;import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;public class BBFontCanvas extends Canvas {javax.microedition.lcdui.Font timesnewroman;javax.microedition.lcdui.Font bbalphasans;

       font10 = fontFamily[4].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16); Font.setDefaultFont(font10);  bbalphasans = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();

    //have fun and make another font...      font10 = fontFamily[0].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 20); Font.setDefaultFont(font10);      timesnewroman = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();}

    public void changeFont(int fontnum){

    //i figure from here you can do a switch statement to change the font...//or idk perhaps just do it by fontnum//you guys gotta code that up haha.//it'll probably look like this though...   //public void changeFont(int fontnum,javax.microedition.lcdui.Font thefont){}//or maybe you wanta return a new font so....//public javax.microedition.lcdui.Font getNewFont(int fontnum,javax.microedition.lcdui.Font thefont){}

    //then make like a switch statement, and then call this to establish the fonts you want in advance and store //these fonts use them for classes you have for classes you've made like void setFont(Font myfont); <--- in//that case your midlet class never even heard of the blackberry font so you're passing a normal lcdui font.//anyways point being as long as g.setFont(myfont); has the proper font this stuff works. :-)

     font10 = fontFamily[2].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16); Font.setDefaultFont(font10);  bbalphasans = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();}     public void paint(Graphics g){     g.setColor(0,0,0);     g.fillRect(500,500);     g.setColor(255,255,255);

    //set the font to bbalphasans or in this case fontFamily[4] from the constructor...     g.setFont(bbalphasans);     g.drawString("Hello World",20,20,g.TOP|g.LEFT);     }}

    and for those of you who don't like comments... just look at this code instead...

    import net.rim.device.api.ui.Font;
    import net.rim.device.api.ui.FontFamily;
    import javax.microedition.lcdui.*;
    public class BBFontCanvas extends Canvas {
    javax.microedition.lcdui.Font timesnewroman;
    javax.microedition.lcdui.Font bbalphasans;

    public BBFontCanvas(){
        final FontFamily fontFamily[] = FontFamily.getFontFamilies();

        font10 = fontFamily[4].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16);
        Font.setDefaultFont(font10);
        bbalphasans = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();

          font10 = fontFamily[0].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 20);
        Font.setDefaultFont(font10);
          timesnewroman = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();
    }

    public void changeFont(int fontnum){

        font10 = fontFamily[2].getFont(FontFamily.CBTF_FONT, 16);
        Font.setDefaultFont(font10);
        bbalphasans = javax.microedition.lcdui.Font.getDefaultFont();
    }
         public void paint(Graphics g){
         g.setColor(0,0,0);
         g.fillRect(500,500);
         g.setColor(255,255,255);

         g.setFont(bbalphasans);
         g.drawString("Hello World",20,20,g.TOP|g.LEFT);
         }
    }

    in any case this is my tutorial police and I currently have surprising good labour code. I am so happy to finally use the blackberry fonts and it proves just everyone and everything that can make an application user interface, unless of course the components made... a midlet can do as well on a blackberry.

    They don't call it Java for nothing, if you know the ins and outs, it's like a cup of coffee it'll get you WIRED!

    Take advantage and ask me questions if you cannot get the fonts you want. This should solve any problems for those of you who have worked hard on your midlets and problems of police... and for those of you who are lazy... Simply change the default system font, and all will be the police.

  • Can I change my text box proportionally? I want to keep it in the square when the scaling!

    I love the sensitive provision, with the exception, why the text boxes cannot restrict or keep its proportions when I resize the browser window? I do a page portfolio, and in my home page, when I place the image, descriptive text rises. But when I resize the window it creates lots of space! For now, I did a lot of breakpoints where I manually scale the text box to be squared... Is it possible to make the balance of text box proportionally? I want to keep the square I adapt the browser window. Or is there an alternative? I like the SMART QooQee widget, but I need something for free.

    This is how it works now: www.ingridfredriksen.no

    Because the text itself is unresponsive, it is the only way, it can behave: A small, responsive text block requires to grow in length to display the full text, it contains. It is, how works internet. Otherwise the text would be "overflow" (which does not exist in the web).

    Incidentally: begins to create the wider first breakpoint and limiting to its limit text box height should prevent the empty space, because the box grows when the window is reduced and shrinks again, when it is maximized.

    If I look at your site on an iPad I n ' notice of any space unnecessary.

    A question: How did you create your main menu? I really like it!

  • Beginner question: resizing/scaling of images, STROKE and workflow.

    Hi all.  I am new to the world of the Illustrator/design, so my apologies for what may seem like a stupid question and I thank you in advance for the advice.

    Basically, I created an image in illustrator that I want to use at different sizes.  I thought at the start: "Hey, it's all the stuff of vector, so I should just be able measure it goes up and down without problem!  However, I quickly realized that while paths are vectors, the stroke applied to paths are not, and they do not change proportionally when I adapt paths.  So, if I increase the size of the image, the objects that were once touching now have gaps between them, and if I reduce the size of the image, certain traits begin to overlap. Just to be perfectly clear on what I'm talking about, here are a few screenshots:

    Original Image scale Small scale image
    ai_correct.jpgai_gap.jpgai_overlap.jpg

    My questions are:

    1. Was my assumption that 'Illustrator files can be resized easily and inconsequential"simplistic and erroneous?  (It seems that it is!) Please help me understand how illustrator is or is not useful to create scalable images.
    2. Is the right way to manage this just to determine the need for size and have separate AI for each size files, or is there a way to 'better' which implies not manually kicks setting for images of different sizes?
    3. Third option of comedy!

    nvenet,

    The perception of the way it should be is correct; but there are a few strangenesses that can mess things up.

    An important one if you have strokes & effects of scale checked or unchecked, in this case, it must be checked, and I believe that it is unchecked.

    You can find it in the Transform palette dialog box.

    You can consider the object > path > feature of contour, then Ctrl / Cmd + SHIFT + G to ungroup, then Pathfinder > unite to change the path traced in a simple filling/nostroke. This will work regardless of features & scale effects.

    Another important is the ghost of pixel grid Align attribute which may haunt you, know well in other cases; often you can recognize by distortions. If it isn't:

    You can select the entire document and untick finally align on the pixel grid in the Transform palette and uncheck also align new objects to the pixel grid in the options of the Launcher.

    And you can avoid the types of documents with the default (RGB for the web and other) or change the default value for such documents.

  • Application of the proportions of constraint expressions pump screen

    So I recently applied this expression of scale to my heart png to make pump the rhythm. Automatic screen pump tutorial | After Effects - YouTube

    The problem is, I want the scale to animate in proportions of stress and when I click on the option to limit the scope, it does not change. The continuous scale to zoom in and zoom out, uggh this boring, I just need to fix this and I can really start to make my video. This is by far the most complicated situation, that I met again lol. and doubt I'll have the biggest problem once this problem is fixed.

    Your screenshot only shows the first line of the expressions unless it's all there. The expression on your Audio Amplitude layer changes the value of the slider so that it limits not going up between 100 and 110. The other expression on the heart layer simply links the value adjusted the scale of the value of the slider. The result of the animation of x and put across a layer when there is no frame of reference or background, is that layer looks the same as zoom in and out. In the tutorial, there some trees on a layer above the shooting who is thus not changing the background seems to be pumping. There is no background reference in your project.

    I think that I put an example in your question on the tile of movement using a grid background. You need something in the background that has a few details to make the heart as it is flying and you animate not just wide. If you want to animate scale differently for X and there you must separate the values in a table. Using your example I'd do something like that for the substantive expression.

    s = thisComp.layer("audio_Amplitude").effect ("Slider Control") ("Slider");

    [s * s 2 * 1]

    This would put across the heart of 200 to 220% in X and 100% and 110% in there, but he would always look like you were buzzing in and out without some sort of details in the background.

    To simulate a beating heart I would try the effect instead of the bulb. Change the top expression to

    linear (value, 23, 50, 0, 1)

    In fact, I would like to delete the expression of the sleeve so you can actually see what is happening with the slider and make some judgment calls and I would apply this expression at the height of the Ardennes

    v = linear (thisComp.layer("audio_Amplitude").effect ("Slider Control") ("Slider"), 23, 50, 0, 1);

    Adjust the Bulge Center and the width and height to get a heart that looks like it beats without the need for a background with some details in it. Then simply apply motion tile to the layer of your heart and you're done. Your hearts grid should look like, they are against instead of zoom in and out.
