  This laptop is actually released? I searched around all it. The site Web of Toshiba, but bestbuy only Q502 model (which is BEAUTIFUL btw). It doesn't seem to be any trace of the 503 however. Best buy said people that they will not even have it at all. All websites have it available only in pre-order without indication of when it will be available.

• Qosmio F55-Q504 drivers for Windows XP

  I think the mobile GPU is maded to be highly resistant to the temperature. On the other side there is the problem of GPU NVIDIA (overheating) due to a manufacturing problem, problem that seems applied to the G94 chip also.

• Question on Qosmio VCR recording

  I want to record my old personal videos of tapes from VCR to DVD using my Qosmio F10. I connect the analog output of VCR via a coaxial cable on the antenna TV Qosmio entry and configure the Qosmio to recognize the input VCR as just another TV channel. He recorded on the hard disk using MCE, but the quality is poor compared to the original video soundtrack. The color and sound are correct, but the photos lack detail and clarity.

  I think that the bad image quality is due to the use of a connection of the coaxial cable from your VCR to your laptop. I use the output SCART on my VCR to connect to one map data (USB) on my SA30 acquisition, but I think that your Qosmio has already entered composites available.

  I use a SCART to Composite adapter (available in most PC or electrical stores retailers) and find that it gives me excellent image and sound (but not DVD quality levels).

  I never managed to get a connection S-video from my VCR to my other work SA30 in black & white.
