Question tab order - what I have to do it again?

Hello world

In the last 2 days, I used LiveCycle Designer ES 8.2 (part of Acrobat 9 Pro) to create a form. I re - ordering the tab order when something happened. I don't know if I was doing something while I had several selected fields, but now I can't rearrange some fields. It took me 5 hours to make this shape (I'm not good at that sort of thing) & I don't want to start from scratch

I downloaded the file hoping that someone can have a look and provide a workaround solution. You will notice that the first field 'Contact' (left) can not be ordered again to be # 2 and so on.

Any help will be much appreciated.

See you soon,.

AP

On the left column, you have three fields of 'Contact' stacked one on the other, and there are two in the right column. Same thing with "Bill To" and other areas. Delete these extra fields and try again.

  • TAB order of parent

    Hello

    I tried to change the styles tab of model parent 'two level tab' theme 23 (Crimson). I'm done with the tab order of the parent in the opposite direction.

    See the example: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=61234

    workspace: ASAWS
    Login: dev_user / dev123

    I have a 'PrintParentTabCSS' application process that prints the dominant parent tab CSS styles. If you disable this process, you could see the restored parent TAB order.

    Don't know what I'm doing wrong. I know it's a bit complicated to ask to take a look, but really grateful if someone could give a clue.

    The problem is the application float: right to the li in this rule:

    div.uParentTabs,
    div.uParentTabs ul,
    div.uParentTabs ul li {
      display: block;
      float: right;
    }

    Floats are applied in the order of the source. This rule floats the first item in the list to the right, which makes the element on the right, then it floats the second list item to the extent of the law it can go - that is to the left of the first element, and so on.

    How to approach the question is to float the tab container (div/ul) right to position the tabset, and floating tabs (li) left of the container. This positions the tab to the right and causes the tabs view horizontally, but maintains the order of source code.

    In effect the required rules are already in the original theme / CSS, so the solution is to remove the useless that follows:

    div.uParentTabs  {
      margin:  0px 8px;
    }
    div.uParentTabs,
    div.uParentTabs ul,
    div.uParentTabs ul li {
      display: block;
      float: right;
    }
    nav.uPageTabs {
      margin: 0 0 8px 0;
    }

    I develop a new theme based on "Thème Crimson 23" and when he's ready is going to be applied for many applications already in place, it's just that I don't want to go and change the order of the parent tabs in all apps.

    If you develop/change the theme completely the recommended approach is to make a copy of the basic theme and modify it directly. Try to apply substitutions of this magnitude is likely to prove too complicated.

  • Custom OR automatic TAB ORDER?

    Hello

    I'm new to LC Designer. I develop a multi-page PDF form. It is to have both static and dynamic (conditional) fields. Number of fields is around 100. I lived in the TAB order, and I found there are two types of TAB COMMAND available i.e. automatic and custom. I don't know what to choose among these options.

    My question: what ORDER of TAB should be used @ what?

    answer pls.

    Thank you.

    -

    Afonso

    Hi Afonso,

    My personal preference is the automatic tab order. I find that when you go to a custom tab order, he can go out of sync as more objects are added to the form. Custom order can be re-established, but it can be tedious.

    In automatic mode, the tab order is very much affected by the relative x / y coordinates of the objects from the top left of the form. If an object on the right is even a fraction higher to an object on the left, then fine focus first. This highlights the advantage of using the snap to grid feature in the LC Designer. The other thing to remember is that, once the tab enter a subform, this will work its way through all the objects in the subform before going out to reconnect with the rest of the form. This can be handy to control the tabbing order.

    There is an example here by looking at some of the issues:

    Hope that helps,

    Niall

  • Pavilion p6654y: ordered recovery disks have not shipped, HP incident status page says touch HP

    So, I ordered a new set of recovery disks for my (out of warranty) Pavilion p6654y, I received a confirmation email and a CSO number. For about 2 weeks I got the confirmation of order, but records have not delivered. Also, I checked with my Bank and the money for the purchase has not yet released. I checked HP incident status page to see what was going on and he told me "contact HP". They don't have sent other emails not to mention that the order confirmation, so I'm stuck sort of just ask yourself what's the deal.

    My problem is that I could not find any contact information for this kind of problem, does anyone know how I would go on to contact HP for a problem with an order for recovery disk?

    @crtibbs

    Please use the Forum from HP Support. I brought your question to the team within HP. They are likely to ask for information from you to get your information or product serial number. Please search for a private message from a contact HP identified. Also, remember not to publicly display (numbers series and information).

  • What I have to install all the updates more or is the latest patch all previous issues?

    I have a laptop that I sometimes use, but is not my main computer. I pay for the use of the internet by the GB.

    Question: When I do not turn on this laptop, I have several updates. especially security for vista that sometimes require a lot of data useage. What I have to install all the updates more or is the latest patch all previous issues?

    Original title: several updates

    Hello

    Monthly updates do not reach the GB amounts; they are a few MBs.

    You must install all the updates of priority; the options are to you.

    Performance and security updates are very important to keep your camera in a good and safe working order.

    SP1 and SP2 released centuries ago have been a highlight of security and Performance updates in time and had to be retained and priority of updates, you receive now are certainly needed.

    ____________________________________________________

    FOR INFO:

    Microsoft gives sometimes you updates for the 3rd party hardware: graphics, network cards, etc.

    You only get the latest drivers for them to real hardware manufacturer's website, as Microsoft does normally or those have the most recent drivers available as Microsoft is based from the 3rd hardware manufacturer left to provide.

  • New rows in the table jumped in the tab order. LiveCycle ss4

    Hello

    I built a form with a few tables (all in subforms flowed) each of which has an action to add a new instance of the row if the last cell is not empty. I have done this before in other forms and had no problem, but for some reason any in this shape when I have the tab of the cell and it adds a new line, he puts the cursor in the field after the table, the new line to jump. My tab order is set to auto, so I don't know why there is not tab in the new line.

    I found some discussions about what is happening in 8 Designer, but they were resolved by using subforms flowed and assuring that the subform global went (check!) or automatic tab order (check!).

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Personally I don't really like the way he behaves, but if that's what you really want. You can use the following code for the output of the last field of the line event...

    TextField3::exit - (JavaScript, client)

    If (this.parent.index == _Row1.count - 1 & this.rawValue == null) {}

    _Row1.removeInstance (this.parent.index);

    } ElseIf (this.parent.parent.resolveNode ("Row1 [" + (_Row1.count - 1) + "" "]". "+ this.name") .rawValue!) = null) {}

    _Row1.addInstance (1);

    }

    Otherwise, if you do not, I suggest you have a subform/cell within the table with one (+ /-) button to add / remove lines

    It's easier to use

    cmdDel::click - (JavaScript, client)

    If (_Row1.count > Row1.occur.min) {}

    _Row1.removeInstance (this.parent.index);

    }

    cmdAdd::click - (JavaScript, client)

    _Row1.addInstance (1);

  • Why are my missing buttons on the tab order list?

    Little weird problem here - I checked my project for the accessibility/508 compliance and noticed that on some of my buttons tab order was somewhat paradoxical. Everything worked and was working properly, but the order was switched off. I open the slide and choose the tab order to reconfigure and found multiple instances of one or more missing buttons in the drop-down list. As I said, given that all the buttons are designed in the same way (text buttons) and they are all available when I test it in the browser, I do not understand how Captivate is not 'see' in the command tab for interactive on the slide sequence - any ideas as to what is happening here?

    Justenuf

    I had to created slides that had buttons incorporated into groups that only appeared when some variables have been triggered or a shared action them changed to 'show' and that caused the "glitch" I saw above.

    So, here's the deal: when you create groups that divide, the buttons, the ordering tool tab in the drop-down slide fails - he can see that the first series of Group of buttons, the rest are not displayed. The only way to the tab order your buttons separated into groups is to do it within the time limit (to the less the more updated version of Cp8). Tab order (at least in the project I'm dealing with right now) is shown from the bottom to the top of the timeline. In the image below, the first button that is activated by tabbing is box 448 group 456, the last is box 446 group 454. (click the box never gets turned on, it is hidden for accessibility purposes) Before someone asks why I use not only intelligent forms for buttons - they aren't tabbable and don't meet my needs.

  • Stop automatic tab order

    I was wondering if there is a way to stop/disable tabs Acrobat you place your order (or worse reorganization)?

    After having carefully ordered tabs - with "order tabs manually" selected - I find that if I move the boxes around, even slightly, Acrobat will take it on himself to rearrange tabs on the page in question, but on all other pages as well - that transforms a change five minutes into a great shot of 45 min to put everything back into order again.

    Depends on what version of Acrobat. If XI, then Yes, by going to Edit - Pref.

    -Form and by unchecking the option "adjust the tab order when editing.

    zone fields.

  • Complete loss of the tab order in the form

    I got a MS Word document (2003) I have open in my MS Word 2010 and saved as a .pdf document.  Then I open the .pdf file in Acrobat Pro v 9.4.7 and used the forms tools to create a form to fill out.  My order of tab shows exactly as I want it to perform.  I close the form.

    I can open this form on my computer - using the TWO Adobe Acrobat Pro AND Adobe Reader 9 (v 9.4.7 also) and the form performs exactly as I intend to.

    However, when I tested it by work colleagues, the form of tab does not perform as expected.  They use Adobe Acrobat Pro v 8.1.3 and Acrobat Reader v 9.0.0.

    Can someone help me understand why this is happening and how I can fix this problem?  Me and one of our developers have spent hours on this and can even lead to the root of the problem and still less resolve the problem.

    Thank you!

    Susan

    It's weird. I don't see the same things you do. The tab order works very well for me in Acrobat (9.4), Reader (9.4) and player (10.1.1).

    When I converted it to an XFA form opening in LiveCycle Designer (8.2.1), the tab order is correct. Note that when you do so, it comments on all the JavaScripts and makes other changes and translates a file of nearly 7 times more.

    A test, try to change the tab order of the form v1 'Order of the lines' in Acrobat and save to a new file. Does make a difference? It would also be interesting to see what happens if the user updates to the latest version of the player.

  • Tab order!

    Y at - it a bug in the option tab in LC Designer 8.2 order?  I can't some fields to move upwards or downwards as I need them (no matter what I do).  I'm pulling my hair out!  The old version of Designer has an option where you can click on the fields (while holding down the Ctrl key) in the order you want.  It was working fine.  But 8.2 seems to have serious problems.

    Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get this feature working properly?

    I have 34 fields of the form and (for example), I can't get the signature field on the bottom of the form for the field 34th in the tab order.

    Help!

    Not that I know of... . If you want to send the form and the tab order you want [email protected] I can take a look when I get the chance.

  • Tab order unexpected changes

    Hello

    I have a form that is quite well done. My tab order is personalized and what I want it to be.

    If I go in my form (in Designer) to tweak it more, for example, I wanted to change a text field to a drop down the list--without changing anything in size, layout, etc.-, the tab order gets all messed up here... Is it possible that I can get my custom tab order to stick? I don't want to do it again whenever I make a minor change to the shape is quite tedious, because it is...

    Thank you

    Caroline

    Hello

    If you leave the tab set to Auto order.

    Select the first column of objects and right-click. Select "wrap in subform:

    This will create a subform and place the objects you selected in it. It's a good idea to subforms name as you go:

    Note: all existing scripts in objects may need to be modified to take into account the subforms.

    Because the first column is in a subform, tab going down through the full column first (green arrows). When the tab out of the subform, it works from left to right and down (orange arrow).

    Hope that helps,

    Niall

  • Remove or exclude items from the tab order

    In a part of a form I design, the user is supposed to enter several numbers in a table, and down the two numbers are calculated automatically for them.

    I explained in the instructions for the form that some fields are calculated automatically, but actually, I don't have room under the actual shape to add a note next to each calculated field, remind people of that.  I added the code so that if a user tries to click on the automatically calculated field, a messagebox will appear explaining that the field is automatically calculated.  However, I don't want such a box to come if someone presses the Tab right through objects on this page.  It would be boring.

    What I want is to be able to exclude these two digital order alltogether tab fields.  Adobe should simply ignore these fields when a user through tabs.  I can't figure out how to do it right.  Is there a way?  Other suggestions?

    Thank you

    Set the fields you want ignored on read-only in the object under value tab > Type and go to the XML Source tab. On the XML Source tab, hit Ctrl-h to open a find and Replace window, find readOnly and replace it with the object. The fields will be so completely ignored in the tab order. If they are already calculated read-only, then you need only to do search and replace.

  • question about ordered Hint

    Oracle 10g
    hi all i attended an interview yesterday and i interviewer asked me a couple of questions
    For which i dont have an exact answer. i even tried to search on web but i couldn't find the answer.

    1. The ordered  hint is used in conjunction with what?  and why?.
       i explained what ordered hint is but he is not happy.

    2. performance of analytical function vs query with sub-query .

     i voted for analytical function, interviewer said that analytical functions are slow.
    Please help me find some answers.

    Thank you

    I don't worry about this.
    If this is the kind of thing the interviewer said, it doesn't look like the kind of place you want to work.
    And if the interviewer is booked on the precise wording that they were after, it's usually a bad sign.

    The flag of the y is used in conjunction with what?

    Who knows what it was after exactly?
    You could say that it is usually used in conjunction with other indicators to indicate the mechanisms of join and access

    Analytical or subquery

    Obviously, the correct answer is 'It depends' - it is almost always the right answer :)
    I would say that analytical versus subquery easily qualifies for the 80/20 rule (i.e., they earn at least 80% of the time)

    But for an example of "how analytics spoil" see here:
