  This may sound strange, but on Vista when I was check my details Graphisc in DxDiag I saw 1 700 MB of RAM... even with the RAM into the motherboard... RAM on the motherboard had 4GB...
  now I have Xp-Windows7(what is XPSP3) but modifited!... I've been using original Toshiba drivers from this Web site. .and I see now...
  My Ram on the card mother down t o 3.5 GB... and graphics card is about 700 MB of ram... I can say WTF...
  IM really not sure if this computer is ABLE to have 1 700 MB graphics card... That's if I remember well AtiRadeon 3100... or sometihnk...
  anyone has the same Toshiba model?... I want to compare the details of the hardware with this one to what I have now on my Toshiba SATELLITE L350D - 20 d...

  I found a small free tool called turn the wide-screen LCD. You can google for it if you want.
  But as far as I know, this tool is only compatible with Win XP and Vista, so I don't know if it will work on laptops with pre-installed m Win 7.

• Question about graphics cards for Equium L40 - 10 X

  HI - new to this, but really cut so I hope someone can help me. !

  I bought an Equium L40 - 10 X in August and thought it was good for what I wanted, especially after seeking advice and addressing the 'expert' at my local pcworld.

  However, I think that the graphics card is good enough to support the games I got - Medal of honor Warchest, Hitman Triple Pack and Call of Duty 2. They all sem to recommend a graphics card than nVidia as a minimum requirement. The card in the laptop is an Intel (r) 945 Express Chipset Family (I think) and the OS is Vista Home Premium.

  I have problems include the loss of graphics and stutter during playback.

  Can I have a nVidia graphics card or is the that I've had enough but I just need to change some settings?

  Really don't have an idea, so help would be much appreciated!

  You are shown how the customer can purchase the wrong product. It may be your fault or due to bad Advisory Service. L40 books are pretty cheap with the average material. This laptop is good for everyday work (Office Automation, writing letters and surfing) but certainly not for the complex graphics applications and games.

  Sorry but there is not much to do. Only thing to do is to increase the RAM to the maximum, but forget the graphics card upgrade. Something like this is not possible.

  I ve just recently bought this model laptop, my dxdiag tells me it's the Intel HD graphics card but advertising I ve bought said it was 550 GT Nivida, I m wondering if there is some drivers I download so that it can pick up or if I need to contact the person I bought this model and for not not the graphics card in it.
  It is a the i3 and 8gig of RAM just not pick up the graphics. Anyone know where I can download drivers nivida and try it, I just bought today so I can get my hands on the seller and the possibility to Exchange without problem if everything's fine

  I am installing Spyder2 Pro on Vista Home premium 32-bit, but I have problems with this load in CS2. I contacted Colorvision and they suggested that if the video card is more than 6 months old I would need the last update. I searched toshiba/intel Web sites and could not update, when I download and try to install it I have the version more up-to-date, which is 7.14.10.1263.

  Look over thisNVIDIA GTX 57. It has 2 GB of memory, which will help to 3D.  This card is longer and must adapt. You will need a bigger PSU such as recommended by OG.  A Corsair CX600 is a good choice

  I bought a satellite 1410 401 and I'm having a lot of problems with my graphics card, with images that I see black glitter spots through the moving image (no problems with stills however) (I downloaded the latest Nvidia drivers) which is quite annoying.

  I don t think that the black spots are a fault of a graphics card.

  You can easily prove how vga - ram that you have by clicking on start-> run... and type "dxdiag".

  Then you can see the tab "screen" the amount of your RAM. So, if you have 256 MB of RAM - VGA then you´re a lucky guy and I say Bravo to you for the bonus you have. ;)

  I assure you that the card is the same as the retail cards.  HP has made specifically for their computers.  There may be less need for power and less in length.  Therefore, the card is perhaps not actually the length of the version to the detail of the map.
