• Two versions of smart display?

  I work at a customer who has two environments; development and production. Everything I checked indicates that the versions are identical (11.1.2.1.103_pse13709867 (Build 009)) in each environment. However, Smart View in both environments behaves differently. In Production, when I start an ad-hoc query, the POV displayed in the first row. I can switch to the TOP toolbar with the appropriate button. In development, however, the toolbar is always upward. If I switch the button, it disappears. If I have a spreadsheet I have inserted into the development and copy it into another one and connect to Production, it is said that it is to convert an old version of Smart View to the new format. Thus, they are certainly different versions. Unfortunately, I don't have access to all the files of configuration of backend. Everything I have access to (EAS, planning, EPMA, SSP) says that the two environments are the same version. Anyone know where I can say computer scientist are looking to see what is causing Smart View to use two different versions?

  It turns out that it was a problem with the help of the incorrect URL for shared connections. I was given an old for Dev when I arrived here. Once I used the right pair, my dev connections work the same as my prod ones.

We have the latest version of Folio Builder of InDesign CS5.5... so it can't be there? When you want to create a new folio in the Panel, our options are only 20 and 21... why it is not displayed for 22 or 23? What is a simple problem to solve?   If you create a new Folio, click on '20' in front 'Viewer Version' and it will give you an option to select the Folio version. You may also upgrade your viewer App Builder if it is a version lower than V23.

• I have the latest version of Smart Web Printing 4.6 but it does not work. Why?

  I have a netbook Acer running the Windows XP operating system and Internet Explorer 8.  The latest version of Smart Web Printing is supposed to work with them, but it is more the fact.  I see warnings that it does not work with Internet Explorer 9, but that is not what I have.  I have the image of the web page and a smaller version of the same thing where I should have the box clip options.  The only option I get is one on top to close.

  I checked the compatibility tables and I watched that indicated that no version of VMware View was compatible with vSphere 5.1.

  Hello - I have a request to the Interior of my data model that works very well when I launches the report inside reports developer & works well in TOAD. But when I try to run from our forms 10 g GUI report fails with a REP 300 error: table or view does not GROUP OF S.SOURCE_NAME
  
  Source_name is my group of field & as mentioned, it works very well to the developer reports & TOAD, so I can't understand why the GUI is having a problem. The GUI uses some features to export the data to Excel. I have no more info on how the GUI do that then maybe no one will be able to help, but if you run into this situation before, any input you have would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

  In the test I tried to apply the Smart View on Excel 2007 11.1.2 and connect to our planning 9.3.1. I'm trying to any service provider (Essbase, Hyperion Planning, Reporting Forms) I get a message saying 'you are trying to connect to an older server.

  2. my computer is vista based 32 bit, ultimate version. I heard that there are a lot of wonderful things about Windows 8. Should I move to Windows 8, or should I actually wait awhile then buy a new computer with Windows 8 64 bit attached?

  Honestly, it's a question that has been bothering me for some time. But my laptop is 4 GB of RAM, 1920 x 1080 HD display, 300 GB HARD drive at 5400 RPM (cost me a lot - it's a SONY) and have been works very well even with vista, the operating system highly complainted by many others. I think it would be a waste to buy a new computer, including the so-called net-books and i - PAD, I know, they are beautiful and sexy, but looking at their record, I was speechless. Yet knowing 32bits was maximum and MS has already announced that they stopped support for Vista SP1, consider that SP2 is expected online.

  3. how long do you 32-bit based can last? Should I increase the RAM of 4 GB to 6 GB and upgrade to Windows 8?

  Yes it will work to buy a copy upgrade of Windows 8.   This is a custom installation rather than an upgrade in place once you switch between 32-bit and 64-bit.  However you can still save money by buying the upgrade license.

  More important is that all the drivers you need will be available.  Your computer manufacturer will not write drivers for Windows 8 because the computer has been out of production far too long.

  Windows 8 is a significant departure from previous versions and I suggest that you upgrade to Windows 7 If you are tired of Vista or wait until you buy a new computer before Windows 8.  You read the discussions on the forums of Windows 8 CP.  At this point, there are many critics of Windows 8 due to the removal of the Start button and Start Menu.  Many people dislike having to rely on style Metro Screen start for many things.  It is becoming a major concern.

  Note:  Microsoft has not announced that there will be copies upgrade for Windows 8.  Microsoft has already stopped providing copies of upgrade of Office is not yet clear what will be available for 8.

  Please post on the Forums of NOR. Unfortunately, we are unable to upgrade to version 2.5.0 of the 1.1.1 cd. However, if you have your serial number, you can download the evaluation version of 2.5.0 section and activate it with your serial number and the computer.   In 1995, I bought the Version of MS-DOS PRO LINKS 386, produced by ACCESS SOFTWARE INC. It is a GOLF software designed to be played on a computer. My question is if I can install this program on my computer Dell Latitude E6530 laptop with Windows 7 OS? I have a lot of memory and hard drive capacity. I have the MS - DOS diskette 4 of each program. I have an attachment to disk installer for my laptop. If you think I can get a compatibility please suggest a procedure for installation. I'm a bug of golf and these cold long winter days have led me to take this program from my archives to play.

  There is no easy way to do especially if your Dell is 64-bit.  You could try an XP virtual machine in win 7 and it works on the XP VM.  You could try to find an emulator like DOSBOX (http://www.dosbox.com/)

  It will take some fiddling.
