• Parachuting works only on my mac with any iOS or Mac.

  AirDrop has stopped working on my Mac for a while now. I can't send or receive data from and to any iOS device or a Mac computer. I used the drop on my iOS devices which I've tried to use with my mac and it works. But it does not work with my Mac. So the problem is definitely with OSX or Mac.

  Although I can use handoff with my iphone and other things too, like accepting calls from my mac when my phone is nearby but airdrop never works.

  This problem has persisted for a quite a long time. I checked the other discussions here and other places, but none has ever solved the problem. But please still tell me something, maybe one of the ways prove to be useful.

• iMessage works only on my mac

  My iMessage suddenly stopped working on my Macbook pro - I get iMessages and send them to my phone and they appear. But when I answer on my mac it say imessage - then sends in green and does not go through.

• mini presentation remote mac works only sporadically

  I have a Logitech R400 that needs to be able to control the PowerPoint on a Mac mini.

  Yesterday it worked fine.

  This band is susceptible to interference and I think that is causing your problem.

  Peripheral USB 3 is a source of interference.

  If the Time Capsule and MacBook Pros are not on the same network, the MacBook is not backup in the time Capsule. You probably see what snapshots leaving MacBook on the local disk, until the two are reconnected. If you don't want that to happen, disable Time Machine on a different network.

  Hi amireos,

  Yes, you can create your workflow where you can keep all your images on the external hard drive and the Lightroom catalog file as well.

  If you start with Lightroom and then use the Destination location as external hard drive when you import your image of the external source such as a camera or SD.

  If you already have your Images on the Mac HD drive, then play all your Image on the external hard drive first and then import images directly from there.

  Finally, you can change the location of the Lightroom Catalog as well.

  Default location: folder on the Mac Drive HD, there is folder called Lightroom that you can move on the external drive too (however catalog Lightroom can't memory space as its only import previews of the images is not the real image and full)

  Once you move the file catalog Lightroom external hard disk, then you need to browse the catalog file when you launch Lightroom only once.

• LR4 - book Module - none of the custom formats?  Automatic layout works only on odd pages?  Bug reports.  Thoughts.

  I'm a photographer wedding and Portrait Professional & thought it may be useful to others & Adobe to share some thoughts and questions.

  I just ordered LR4 yesterday 3/7, as soon as I saw he is out =) I'll have the software delivered to me, but in the meantime, I downloaded the trial version of the LR4 which I started to play with today.  BTW is identical to the full version trial version but active only for 30 days?  Or some of its limited features?

  I had a few questions about the book module.  Some of them I think that are bugs.

  • Is it possible to enter in custom formats?  I don't see that see there is an option for 5 sizes and impossible to find another option.
  • I tested the automatic layout function.  It automatically layout, but only on odd pages, even pages are left in white.  Could not find a way to settle this.  (Updated, I like the white page feature, it gives extra room for manoeuvre to change the page layouts and for me it's easier to delete a page that Add.)
  • When you add favorite layouts I can't add page spreads to my favorites.
  • When I press tab to get rid of the side windows, I can't scroll further down in the book.
  • The navigation on the left and right arrow buttons do not directly work in the main screen.

  It would be nice to have more control over preferences in the book such as the particular custom formats Module.  As it is, it feels unusually restrictive.  That said I am very excited by the possibilities that this may cause.  From now on I'd still certainly the final layout in PS, but I hope I do the initial design approximate layout using this new book module.  Looks like it could save a lot of time and be much easier to do this step in PS.

  Let me first, I'm not an expert on ledger. Yes, I used it for a while, but many components of the module are much too dark for my taste. In fact, you have identified certain aspects that left me scratching my head for the months, not hours or days.

  1. Custom formats is not directly supported at the present time, but I understand that users will be able to create their own page/models using Adobe Illustrator. I can't say when this facility will be available well.
  2. To change a page layout (left/right pages, etc.), you need open the Preset automatic page layout editor. To do this, choose the form Edit Auto Preset layout from the menu editor drop-down preset (directly under the header Panel automatic layout)
  3. Have noticed this myslef, I don't remember if it is a bug or a design limit.
  4. Not seeing this problem, it works very well on Mac OS X. try clicking on the scroll bar to make it active, it may help.
  5. Yet once again, not seeing this problem, the left and right buttons in the main window of content move from one page to another.

  It is also interesting to note, in case you have not discovered yet, preferences located under the menu book book. This is where you define what metadata are used to auto fill in the areas of text (for example, title or legend).

  I expect that one or more of the other pre release testers who spent more time than me in this module will probably be able to fill the gaps.

Rafi used underneath and just by clicking on it, it is used to get automatically filled in the column. Now, he can't like that. I write full name every time. Please guide me as to what I should do. • Windows Media player 11, advanced tag editor, problem

  When I try to change the info on some of my music I can't do. I looked at the Help menu, but that did not help. The problem is, I was able to access advanced tag editor to change before but now I can't any more, and none of my MP3s are in read-only mode. When I right click, advanced tag editor is not listed. Can I edit my other two playlist but not the third. I downloaded a plug-in before for the words, but simply to delete. Help, please

  But this context menu does not include the tag editor for a few songs?

  Check that these songs really are in MP3 format: right click, select the location of the file opened , right click on the music file in Explorer, select Properties and note the type of file field.

  Are you sure that these songs are in the section music library and not another section such as video or other media ?

  Try to add the songs assigned to the library, maybe this will help. Right click the songs in the library, select delete - delete from library only and click OK . Then, press F3, make sure that the Advanced Options are displayed and that Add files previously deleted from the library is checked and click OK .

• Audio & CD/DVD drive not working only not with Vista

  I have a laptop HP V6500 Pressario, with Vista Home Basic installed recently. I have two problems with my laptop:

  1 > there is no sound, and I see the error "no audio device is installed" with a red cross on the "speaker" icon.
  2 > drive CD/DVD is not visible in 'my computer '.

  These two problems are persistent, but begin to work from time to time, say once 20 times when I turn on the laptop, I see the CD drive and also audio works, but these work only for about 10 minutes...

  I tried the Dr.Fixit and it did not help and have also installed the latest drivers for my notebook to the hp site:

  Try these steps and check the result.
  Step 1: Delete the invalid registry keys
  1. Click Start, type regedit and press to enter. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click on allow.
  2. in the navigation pane, find and then click the following registry subkey:

  Advanced Tag Editor is not included in this version of Windows Media Player. But by editing media information in the Details pane of the Player library, you can still do most of the tasks that you performed with Advanced Tag Editor.

  I have 1 pc and mac 2. I also use the music library to icloud. However, it depends on the internet connection.

  so, I was wondering if I can put the "itunes library" file on each laptop, the "itunes media" while on the external hard drive?

  See make a library of portable split. You will need either a for OS X NTFS driver or driver for HFS + for Windows in order to use the drive with an operating system. Also note that there is a delay when you first launch after passage of one BONE to the other.
