  You must have somehow set it or choose a mode that is black and white only. How do you scan? Computer or printer with the ' scan to '? If from the computer, which is the type selected? If the printer are you scan a document or photo, pdf, pdf seachable etc? If of course, change the setting and see if the colors come out?

  I pointed out that I had the same experience, especially at the opening of the email links in Thunderbird. I reported also that forced me to go back to 28 FF.

  Moses responded by top wire and suggested:
  (1) download a fresh installer of https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/ in an ideal location. (Scroll down your preferred language).

  (2) the release of Firefox.

  (3) rename the folder

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \Mozilla Firefox

  TO

  C:\Program Files (x 86) \OldFirefox

  (4) run the installer you downloaded in the #1. It should automatically connect to your existing settings.

  I followed these instructions carefully but no joy. When installing 29 FF, not only refused to leave (using "exit") and continue to run in the Task Manager up until I killed him after the opening of links in Thunderbird, but I find that he refused to come out after a simple navigation and links.

  In my view, that there is a serious bug. With Firefox 28... no problem don't except a minor that I have indicated here:

  Yet once I am obliged to 28 FF, although I miss the nice interface and security patches, I need to have a browser that works properly. My wife never even saw the Manager of the tasks before so that's the problem.

  In addition, "guesses" made with this post, the only other thing usual outside that I do, is to have a security policy about cookies (accept by default... I make exceptions for cookies I want to keep and have several that are "allow only for the session.") I also FF the value delete history of navigation at the exit, but that takes a fraction of a second.

  I look forward to when this matter can be addressed successfully and I am able to use 29 FF (and out properly... I can't wait for my wife to follow all of these instructions and it often close manually in the Manager of tasks... or what I want to do this.)

  Good luck for all Mozilla projects. Having installed 29 FF twice and then back return 28 twice, I'll wait and see how this plays out. Please don't send me the standard "start in safe mode", 'restart with disabled modules', 'reset Firefox' stuff (the last time that completely destroyed my browser). I don't think that is what is happening.

  .. .and installed 29 FF on my previous FF28 on my box. I unchecked the "clear history on exit" which was only to delete my history, not cookies or anything else, cor - el. My setting should not accept cookies unless I make an exception. Until the FF developers find a way to do this is functional, I'll just have to manually delete the history.

  Furthermore, John99, you want to maybe privacy.sanitize.sanitizeOnShutdown set to 'False', not 'true' If you want to stop the automatic deletion of the history at the exit (attempt).

  I've been running for about 6 hours. without experiencing the bug 'suspended '. So, I can live with that for now until this bug is fixed. It should be fixed... browsers are supposed to be able to do things like that.

  On the other hand, I could find things go wrong... but so far I'm not having a problem.

  I for several hours and will let you know later if things change.

• Display of Windows Vista, the icons and all THE GRAPHICS suddenly pixelated, appear low quality at the highest resolution and colors

  Please help, out of nowhere on my screen - background, all icons, all graphics (including the Explorer and other programs) have become rough and pixelated and seem very low qualty even if my display is set to the highest resolution management settings and color. I've not been able to find a way to restore and have no idea why it is doing this in the first place. It's really bothering me, it's hard to read (text appears fuzzy and broken up, not smooth and sharp, icons have white or another pixelation around them and do not have the 'look of glass'.) I was wondering if one of the old games my children changed my settings somewhere but I've lived every control panel I find and have not been able to correct the problem.  Even the buttons (back, forward, refresh, etc.) in Explorer have bad pixelation. That's happened? Help! :) Thank you

  I would also update the drivers, firmware or software for your monitor at the same time.  Also, if you have another monitor, swap them to see if the problem goes away or moves - then we can pretty much reduce the question to the screen and not the video card (and if the updated drivers do not resolve this problem, then it's a hardware problem and you can either take a workshop of computer service repair or simply a replacement of purchase screen.)

• I am trying to print the color of the CS6 PS and it comes out black and white. How can I fix it?

  All other Adobe applications print correctly.

  Check your settings in the printer driver dialog box.

  If you send a color image on a color printer, Photoshop sends color.

  The operating system or the printer driver are the only things that could change the image in black and white.

• CS6 product still pixelated and grainy DVD...?

  I edited my video in Premiere Pro CS6 clips (as I usually do), then sent again CS6.  The video looks grainy and pixelated on the monitor in another window and it records this way too.

  The image in the monitor of the body is crisp and great discussion.  I shoot in HD.  I've never experienced this before.  Is this a bug?

  I know exactly what you're talking about the pixelated edges appearance... it is something that also brought me some frustration, but I now have a solution.

  What I believe is happening is still takes the film and for the default settings for transcoding, which is interlaced... Unfortunately, there seems to be no way to change this setting.  You will receive of it is still double all the other lines of resolution, so instead of 480 horizontal lines, you get 240 lines, doubled.

  Here's how to fix it:

  In your project Panel, right-click on your Pro first sequence and choose «Settings for transcoding...» ».

  Now click «Edit quality presets...» ».

  From there, you should see many more parameters that can be changed.

  Make sure "MPEG2-DVD" is selected for the 'Format '.

  Then, do scroll down to "Field Commander" and choose "None (progressive).

  From there, you can also change the various parameters of quality.  Once you have chosen the quality, click 'OK '.

  This will bring up a dialog box to name your new preset.

  Once you confirm the new name, make sure it is selected for 'Quality Preset' and click on 'OK '.  Now, your sequence should list this preset in the column "transcoding DVD settings '.

  Now you should be able to build as before, but without the interlacing artifacts.

  Let us know if/how this works for you.

  No files were open, but before I "exit" the session that the unit did a stop/delayed. I had completely lost track of time.

  Now, I can't ssh in. I've disabled the ssh, rebooted, activated the ssh and tried again.

  It happens just to expire without asking for my password.

  Is there one solution other than a reset of the OS or the factory re - install?

• I want to add tab stops to the cross-reference format to make my OCD, a solution of a single click, but the format never comes out right and using the tab key in the window of the dialog box to move the cursor to the next window.

  When you try to format my references I would add tab stops so that the format for the TOC works with the cross reference.  For example my format on the pages of reference is

  < $chapnum > - < $paranumonly > < $paratext > < $chapnum > - < $pagenum >

  With tab stops before the chapnum, between paranumonly and paratext and the next chapnum.  If the final result should look like

  4-16 speed vertical digital - primary Mode... 4-28

  Help?

  In the reference page, add a \t where you want a tab to be, i.e. \t<$chapnum>-<$paranumonly><$paratext>\t \t<$chapnum>-<$pagenum>

  Then, make sure that the format of paratag has the tabs tab placed at the correct locations.

  When you re - generate the table of contents, you should get the desired effect.

• Why are some of my low quality/pixelated and high quality desktop icons in other places

  Hi, some of my icons on the desktop from my laptop (for example google chrome) are all grainy and low quality; However, in places like the taskbar and startmenu, they are fine.  My connection icon is also very low quality if it gives advice to the cause.  I have the same exact programs installed on my desktop (on windows 7) and I did not have this problem.  Any ideas as to what is happening?  Here is an image that can make it more clear about what I'm asking:

  Right-click on an empty area of the desktop, choose View > small icons.

  This only happens with icons that were not designed to be scale-able.  They are extended only slightly, causing artifacts as we see.  Microsoft has released the guidelines for the creation of an icon in their 'Style Guide of the user experience' a few years ago, but some software manufacturers understand that the sizes of icons "legacy", including max 32 x 32 I think.

• I export an animation and the sound that comes out fuzzy

  So, I worked on this project, an animation where I drew the images in another program and imported, then aligning them with the audio.
  But whenever I have the export, with as many combinations of settings I could think, research on some of the best settings I could use, but whenever my video comes out fuzzy and weird, with a lot of my lines does not.

  I did it successfully before on a previous version where it turns out very well with no problems, I'm having now, but after upgrading to CS6 I can't come out as beautiful.

  I found two bugs in the 6.0.5 update for Premiere CS6

  1. bad display of the total duration of an element in the preview monitor

  If you define an in - out point in the control screen the time between the in - and outpoint is not always displayed correctly. You can increase the error when you set an in - and exit point, then move area of the chronology of the Preview monitor. Tit total of the element is displayed and not the time between in and out.

  2 Preview must be already made when using the sequences nested .

  Take nested sequences, where one of the sequences comes another project et return le Overview (red bars in the timeline turns green), save project and close. Now the project is open again, the bars are red again. But only in the sequence, the sequence has been included from another project.

  In the first CS6 6.0.3 all works very well. Anyone can reproduce this error?

• Need some tips for first cs6 video editing

  I recorded it professionally in his room with a microphone mc proof is really good quality video and sound quality is perfect also.

  I recorded with 2 devices with different angles, I'll remove the noise of two video clips and use the MP3 recorded in Adobe Audition CS6 (amazing program) I want to have the 2nd recording angle put in the video so that it shows the main video, then the 2nd in a small box in the upper corner, how can I do this?

  Also any advice people can suggest for me on Speedgrade CS6 or After effects CS6 that will enhance the viewing experience will be highly appreciated.

  Last reading the thing at first and after effects is very slow, no failure of my laptop is extremely fast, but one thing that I've had this laptop for about 8 months and does not update the graphics card, it would be one or there at - it a way to solve this problem? When I try to playback in sequels it says something like ' 0.9 / 29 frames (not in real time), I downloaded quicktime, I thought it was real time?

  This is referred to as a PiP (Picture in Picture). It is easy to do. Simply place your Clips, camera 2 and camera 1 on separate video tracks. 2 camera spot on a weaker, you place the camera 1, say Camera 2 on 1 track video and camera 1 on video track 2. At that time, camera Clip 1 will cover the Clip on Camera 2. Now, with the camera 1 Clip selected, go to the effects (not the effects Panel) Panel and find the movement, one of the fixed effects. Watch twirl that open, to reveal the scale and Position. We will use these next. I would first pay scale, to resize the Clip and then position, move it to where you want. Fact.

  I often use the grids of the alignment for the positioning of the PiP, but with but a PiP, not sure you need this. Yet, see this article for grid alignment: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/476984?tstart=0

  For your Audio files, instead of a highly compressed MP3, I would export it as WAV/PCM 48 kHz 16-bit, for import in PrPro. The Audio will be better, and in accordance with the standard will be faster.

  For the rest, I highly suggest to read about these programs. Adobe has a lot of good tutorials on Adobe TV too. Their use and power, fill books. There is also a very active and very good forum just for After Effects, with a lot of seasoned, professional who can help you if you get lost. As Jon States, read everything in the help files, these programs are a very good start.

• Time XDCAM make increased 10 x in first CS6

  My company is working with XDCAM HD and Red images in first, and we have recently updated two of our three workstations to CS6. We love the upgrade, but that we have lived 10 x more slow release since Adobe Media encode with the XDCAM HD compared to the first CS5.5 sequence. We are not slowing down in time out for a film Red 5 K, but the downturn XDCAM is killing us. We have restored to one jobs CS5.5 and immediately saw the decline in output x 1.1 or 1.2 x time to sequence. In CS6 using the same sequence on the first settings and the same output in Media Encoder parameters, we get more like 11 x time speed for the output sequence. To make the work area for a XDCAM HD sequence in first, we see the same slowdown CS6

  We are not getting any error messages or crashes and there no artifacts in the video during playback in real time or in the .mp4s we are out. We had the same problem on two workstations, and restoration of a workstation to CS5.5 solved the problem immediately. And once again, our Red workflow is just as fast as in CS5.5.

  We strongly prefer working in CS6, but we will fall behind the limit of our current contract project if we get this slow output. Everyone knows the same downturn, or someone has a suggestion for the settings that I could change to improve performance?

  Adobe is aware of the problem and working on a fix, but until that comes out the only solution is to return to an earlier version of PP, or to convert the multiple split files into a single file outside the PP (preferably using a format like the UT codec lossless, so no additional damage occurs.)  Take note that you may lose timecode and other metadata if you follow the path of conversion.

  You can also try not to use the NanoFlash and save directly to the camera, as not all split support is affected by the problem.

• Design a business card - result comes out too small

  I have some experience with Flash Professional CS5 and use it to help design a business card.  So I'm not creating an application to create a business card.  I'm creating a static design I'll probably export as image and take to a printer.  I feel more comfortable in using Flash to do this at this stage.  The design looks good in Flash CS5, but when I export, it is too small.  I measured a physical 87 mm x 49 mm adapter, so I made the step of this size, using millimeters.

  I exported as a PNG, print design and it comes out like 66 mm x 37 mm - the correct proportions but it is about 75% of the size I want!  I tried editing design and open the HTML in a browser, but it always comes out looking for little ones.

  What I am doing wrong?  I guess I could anticipate the narrowing and define my step to 116 mm x 65 mm which seems silly.  Why should I do this?

  If you take your work to a printer, first call and get the specifications of what kind of files they will accept. My guess is that the .psd files would be one of them. You can also get the specifications for resolution, sometimes called points per inch (DPI) that really matches pixels by when we're talking resolution 'screen '.

  The reason why I propose 300 dpi for printing is because it's more or less the lowest resoultion standard used for printing... and it could even go higher.

  It's so any image, jpg, png, tiff, gif 1050 wide x 600 pixels high, when printing at 300 ppi will be exactly 3.5 in. by 2 in. (card format). The only time where it would be larger print is if you use a lower print resolution... say 150dpi... then it would print 7 x 4 in.

  BUT then the printer would be taken exactly same amount of ink and spreading it over a much larger area, with the result a much lower quality photo. By placing points of ink closer together (300 points per inch rather than only 150 points of ink) the quality is much higher.

  But your best bet is to speak directly to the printer, they will have the exact specifications, they are looking for.
