  Well first of all, you're probably not really "Streaming" video (playing just like the data being downloaded), but rather "progressively download", which means that the video file is FIRST downloaded to the folder Temporary Internet Files of visitors and then reproduced from there.

  Most of the video files will START the download process and then after that a few seconds of data downloaded into the cache,... the video will start playing at the SAME TIME, the rest of the video is downloaded into the buffer.

  One of the many reasons for that video never really taken .mov files for Web delivery is the problem with the MOOV atom... or the index file that tells the video player can figure out how much/when the file has loaded enough to start playback of the video file is the file, so the video file. Unfortunately, a lot of .mov files have this file of index very important at the end of the video file... so the entire file has download before he knows that he has to start to play...

  Looks like you have a problem of proportions. iMovie displays only in 16 x 9. Don't know what aspect of film Keynote is. What I would try is your clip in the timeline and in the tool bar, click the crop and select adjust. To display the whole clip if you have black bars.

  Flash uses Adobe Media Encoder to create a video output. The media encoder is usually installed when the Flash is installed. You will need to re - install Media Encoder.

  I would say the use of YouTube is not only your best technique method but better marketing as well. Videos have a topic... the first place for people to YouTube is for videos on a topic. It's a good thing that you can then use to drive people to your Web site.

  I created my page and I want to place a quicktime video on it.  The movie is a quicktime H.264 movie and when I place it on the page it plays automatically when I test it in my browser.  How to create buttons (play, stop, FF) transport for the film?

  I realize that most people have and use Flash, not quicktime.  I does not flash and am not aware of how to save as a .swf movie.

  QuickTime is not the broad support that Flash.  Flash Video is the gold standard used on YouTube, MySpace, FaceBook and other social media sites.

  That said, you can download your MOV YouTube file and let it convert & host for you.  Then copy & paste the YouTube embed code in your web page.  Simple as pie.

  Or get a low cost MOV FLV Converter media and do it yourself.  Do a Google search for RIVA FLV encoder.  It is freeware and it does a good job on most of the projects.  Once you have your converted to FLV MOV file, it is simple to integrate into your web page.

  DW menu Insert > media > Flash Video > progressive download.

  Navigate to the FLV file on your local hard drive.

  Select a Player skin options.

  Save your page.

  Download Page, Scripts, SWF and FLV on server.
