  I currently use CP7 and have created a quiz.  Once the user finishes the last question of the next slide give them the chance to return to the last slide in learning (so they can navigate further if they wish), or continue.  There are some other javascript on the slides so features like the ability to email your comments about the course or other... (it's an unimportant detail).

  If the user continues to the result of the captivate quiz slide.  I've hidden the continue button in the field of scrap and given the statement of the user to close the browser, which then brings them to the LMS which seems to be completed the course very well.

  Is it an ok practice?  I read everywhere in the forums and it seemed that perhaps it wasn't a good way to end a learning module.  Someone at - he comments or experience that could shed some light on this?

  Normally this button continue, like most buttons on question slides, as essential functions: when you click the actions that you specify in the pass/fail test settings will run, and the quiz is considered to be complete. I certainly wouldn't recommend out this button. If you don't have a default score slide, the actions will be performed after the last slide in the question, but say you that you have a slide of score. Create at least a custom partition slide, if you do not want to have this button continue. You mention JS, that is not at all an unimportant detail. If you want to replace the built in functionality of the slide to score in this way, it is OK for me, but do not use this slide to score in this case.

  1. create a step forward (not the simple/standard one) dynamic action.
  2. create initially unconditionally (the wizard will not let you take the PL/SQL expression as a condition but we will go back and change it later)
  3 assume that TRUE from your PL/SQL will lead to disable the item, then choose 'Disable' and the item you want to disable.
  4. Once created, go back in the DA and change the status of PL/SQL expression and put your PL/SQL in there (suppose you have a function returns boolean called MY_FUNC and TRUE to him means disable).
  5 copy the DA in its entirety to a new DA will be FALSE to activate the element.
  6. Once copied, go into the new DA and change the status of PL/SQL to NOT (my_func).
  7 change the REAL action of the DA to activate the element.

  So now you should have two similar DAs... one for when MY_FUNC is true and disables the element, a when "NOT (my_func)" is true and allows the element.

  If you do not disable, you can run javascript instead to set readonly. It seems that this is kind of what you tried to do, but you seem to use a jQuery selector, I suppose that (I did not recognize your syntax to off the bat)?

  Try to use the javascript API instead Apex:

  Check the sources of the system/preferences/keyboard again.  You have active the British PC keyboard.  Remove it and make sure that you have only on the list.

• Help! Lesson with 2 branches of locking on the Quiz results screen when the learner (branch or another) fails.

  I have a lesson CP6, which is essentially two parallel branches, with only the following slides in common:

  • A slide 'welcome. '
  • A slide where the learner chooses its branch
  • A "Congratulations!"  "Slide you completed the test.
  • A slide "you not answered the questions correctly.

  Once the learner chooses its branch, it is given a 5 question test.   If he fails the exam, he is taken to a short lesson, specific to the content tested in this branch.   When he finished the lesson, he is returned to the test to try again.  If it fails, come back to the lesson, then back to the review, etc.  until it passes.  (I put max '10' under 'Préférences Quiz' tent)   When he passes, he is taken to the "Congratulations" slide and the end of the lesson.

  I put the last question in each branch to go to slide Quiz results (success or failure), and I put the Quiz preferences to access the slide of "Congratulations" so passing and for the "you not answered the questions correctly" drag if the learner does not.

  That's how it is supposed to work anyway.  And that's how it worked until I made a change somewhere and he mucked things.

  What happens is instead:

  • Testing (both branches) learner outcomes Quiz and 'Congratulations' slide takes very well.
  • Lack of test (or another branch) brings the learner to Quiz results and then gets stuck there.    (In fact, if I click on the "Continue" button a second time on the QR slide, the lesson does not always advance but disappear all the graphics, that I put on this slide, which is weird and not at all useful.)

  Branching seems ok for me.   What Miss me?

  

  I know I have to improve and we will be soon, but not before this lesson must be published - which is, of course, yesterday.

  Figured it out.  A "required" on the page "Quiz: settings" value "necessary Pass - the user must pass the quiz to continue."  Who kept the learner continued beyond the "results of the Quiz" slide and a loop to the didactic content and taking the quiz.

  I changed "Required" "Required – the user must take the quiz to continue."   The learner is able to loop back/reading/retest as many times as necessary in order to pass the test.  All right.

• Error message: problem loading parameters and check the event log or ask the administrator

  My wallpaper, the desktop icons and most of my documents are gone.

  I have Vista Home Premium and a couple of days and I connected my desktop background was changed. Several desktop icons are missing, and a message came up saying there was a problem loading my settings and check the event log, or ask the administrator (me) for more details. All my "Favorites" were missing in the sidebar and my documents and recorded images folders are empty. Microsoft customer service tells me there is an error in my code for the identification of product (from the Windows Activation in systems and Maintenance) so I can't help out.

  It is likely that your user profile is damaged. I would advise to create a new user account and test if you get any errors.   Reboot safe mode (it is a slow process):

  -stop of the mac

  -Start up the mac in shift, press and hold until you see appear it to progress bar, so you can let go

  -When everything started, connect

  -Once connected, stop the mac once again, nothing else is necessary.

  I solved the problem. It is apparently caused by minGW installed with 14.4 vivado which does not work with windows 8. So, I replaced the minGW on vivado record 14.4 with the latest version of minGW.

  I installed an external USB connected hard drive Seagate to copy some movies and pictures of my HP laptop with Vista, but it became a big problem. It slowed the computer and check the new disc repeatedly. Then it wouldn't start without the external drive at all but it was working fine once he was conducting with the external hard drive. So thinking I can outsmart the computer, I uninstalled the drive from Control Panel. Now it primer not at all. The computer lights up briefly and then goes out of itself almost immediately, is there a solution to this? Thank you

  Please try the possible fix following first thanks to Carey Frisch:

  1. open the BIOS of the motherboard.
  2. find where it says Priority Boot Device, then select CD/DVD-ROM 1, 2nd Hard Drive and disable all the rest.
  3 find somewhere in the BIOS where it says BOOT USB, Wake on USB, etc. and disable all unnecessary options.

  And second if it does not help, you can try the following with Blue Michael:

  Local Geek Squad had me intentionally set the BIOS to the correct order, then re-order and SAVE.
  It worked, even if the list of the BIOS was always in the right order.
