QUSTION TOOL "SNIP-IT".
In USING WINDOWS 7 HOME PREMIUM on my laptop the SNIP IT tool, I tried to capture a SNIP - ITS couple, record / or save money, then send all the saved SNIP-ITS all at once instead of ONE by ONE and by creating several emails. First of ALL), I CAN SAVE THE SNIP - ITS and if so where or to what file would be best to save them in one at a time. (SECOND), to compose and send an email w long/comments pertaining to the SNIP-IT. I know that you can TRIM (SIZE IT) the SNIP-IT information that would probably be better to send two or three SNIP-ITS all together in an e-mail.
ANY SUGGESTIONS or HELP in THIS SITUATION IS PARTICULARLY APPRECIATED.
Thank you
LOU
It was all combined by using microsoft Paint, the use of jpeg.

Windows 10 Snipping Tool works only with Firefox
I've uppgraded Windows 8.1 to 10. The cutting tool works in W8.1. Got the new tool from Snippping W10. It works with Edge and other apps, but when I click on the new button, when I'm in Firefox I just get a completely gray screen. I have tried on several Web site and get the same grey screen.
Hello, I found the source of my problem. This is the IBM Security Trusteer report software. It has an option to block the screen capture. This must have turned on when I upgraded to Windows 10. I have this turned off and the Snipping Tool now works with Firefox.
Thanks a lot for your help.

Hello. My HP Envy 5530 newly purchased printer truncates images captured from Snip, Snipping Tool and screen printing. Image appears perfectly when placed in MS Word, PowerPoint, MS-Paint, etc., however, when printing on the 5530 want appears the image enlarged, as well as 30% or more of the image gets truncated or cut off. I have tried other "resolutions" posted, but they do not work. I wasn't able to find a driver for the HP 9800, as suggested in another post (HP says it is not available). Everything worked before installing this HP 5530 (I used Lexmark printer). I am on Windows (to date) 10 MS Office 2007 and reinstalled Snip & Snipping Tool. I uninstalled and reinstalled the HP 5530 and I ran the Scan Doctor utility that will return no error found. Does anyone have a similar problem and especially a solution?
With no idea what you have tried (other "resolutions"), I offer the following to your attention:
- Ensure your PDF viewer / reader software is on the latest version available for your operating system. This is not negligible. Create a Restore Point before the update / modify the software system yiour.
- Never use copy - paste when you add images to your document (Word) > use Insert
- Control image format when you change the size of the inserted picture
- Consider "line spacing" when you insert a picture into the document using "tight" / options "Wrap Text".
- Keep the image within the borders of the minimum margin - if all else fails, change the margins in "Close" to give more images of space
- Consider that Office Word 2007 cannot respond to Windows 10 as expected
- Make sure that you allow updates include patches Office 2007 available (assuming these are available)
Help, suggestions and examples:
Manage the print with preview output before printing

- Preparation
Microsoft Office Word - Options, tips, Observations
- Images of Word / Art / words are chopped

What happened to Snipping Tool?
HP Pavilion Slimline s5213w running under Windows 7 64-bit
1. earlier today, I ran Snipping Tool for the first time: START-online snip => enter; Select the tool-online entry. It worked fine and I did a snip and saved. A few minutes later I tried again and this time instead of "Tool captures" all I could get was "saving steps to reproduce a problem. How can I get that back?
2. According to the AskLeo cutting tool should be available under the menu START-accessories online, but he's not here.
I can still get to the tool, but not in the menu START. In addition, support allows access to the Snipping Tool and it explains how to use but it says Nothing about how to access outside assistance.
Hello
Step 1: Make sure the executable Snipping Tool is always present on your system (and has not been removed by a virus)
The executable file must be located in C:\Windows\System32\SnippingTool.exe
Step 2: To start, you have different options:
-Double-click on the executable file located in "C:\Windows\System32\.
OR - Press Win + R, then type "snippingtool" (without the quotes) and validate
OR - right-click on the executable and select "pin to taskbar" or "pin to start menu", to create shortcuts to these places
OR - right-click on the executable and select "create shortcut" and then move the shortcut to the place you want.

I googled the elusive Snipping Tool, saw a lot of screen shots where and how to locate using Vista Home Premium... He should have flown the coop.
I'm on a new Toshiba Satellite, AMDx64dualCoreblahblahblah...
I ran widows update several times in the 3 weeks I had this thing... because some patches are required to be missing or something...
My 8 year running original OEM XP Dell sweeps the new Toshiba and Vista...
Suggestions? I just need the screen shot. I prefer not to go by hack Adobe or something just to fill the void left by Vista... and hurtling to Fry is not possible at this time...Hello RG Brewster; THE ANTIVISTA
Thank you for your message. Click on the "Start Orb" and in the search box, type "Capture", give it a few seconds and the tool must complete programmatic. And then double-click the tool.

I can't save on Snipping tool, help
I use the cutting tool on my Vista, and then one day I couldn't put anything I snipped. How can I get back to normal?
Hi Peggy,
1. what happens when you click on save?
2. you receive an error message?
3 when was the last time it was working fine? This can occur if system files corrupted on the computer, I would say that scan you SFC who will search the system files corrupted on the computer and replace them.
Scan SFC enforcement procedure:
1. click on the Start button
2. on the Start Menu, click all programs Accessories followed
3. in the menu Accessories , right-click on command line option
4. in the menu that appears, click on the option "Run as Administrator"
5 If you have the enabled User Account Control (UAC) you will be asked to consent to the opening of the command line. You simply press the button continue if you are the administrator or insert password etc.
6. in the command prompt window, type: sfc/scannow then press enter
7. a message is displayed to indicate that "the analysis of the system will start.
8. be patient because the analysis may take some time
9. If all the files need replace SFC will replace them. You may be asked to insert your Vista DVD for this process to continue
10. If everything is correct, after the scan, you should see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.
11 after the scan finished, close the command prompt window reboot the computer and check.
The analysis may take some time, so be patient. Windows allows to fix corrupt or missing files it finds. If the information of the installation CD is required to fix the problem, you may be asked to insert your Windows Vista installation CD.For more information please visit the link below.

January 14, 2009 I got my office restarted by Microsoft, the capture tool was pinned in the Start Menu,.
After the re - start the capture tool had been removed from the Start Menu, so far I have been unable to locate
the tool captures in the programmes and subprogrammes. I've damaged the optic nerves and I found
the tool captures to be more convenient to view, print (things like bus schedules, entertainment),
to accommodate my eye problems. How to re - install the tool captures in my programs and start
Menu, please.
I am assuming that you tried the research of the cutting tool by typing snip in the search box on the Start Menu. If not, please try that first. Otherwise, you should be able to locate the Snipping tool in your system32 folder. Here's how:1. open Windows Explorer (start > computer)2. double-click on the "C" drive (the drive where your operating system is installed, or the C drive).3. double-click on the "Windows" folder The system warns you that the files in this folder are the essential system files and should not be modified or removed. Continue nevertheless.4. scroll down and find the contents of the folder "System32". Double click on it.5 organize the files in alphabetical order by name and scroll down to the section "s". Looking for a file named "SnippingTool.exe. Once you have found it, right-click on it and choose "Pin to Start Menu" or "Add to Quick Launch" as you wish. This will create a new shortcut for the tool in your Start menu or on your Quick Launch bar. Or, if you prefer, you can choose "send to" and then "desktop (create shortcut)" in the context menu instead. This will create a shortcut tool cutting on your desktop. Under no circumstances should you delete or move the 'SnippingTool.exe' file in the System32 folder, however. Please let us know if this solves your problem.Best wishesBookwormDragon -

My previous PC was a Windows Vista Home Basic and it came with the capture tool. I bought this new, but it did not come with the Snipping Tool. I need this program for the things I've done. Where can I download it safely?
My apologies.
It is not available in Vista Home Basic.
And I can't recommend a free download for her site.
I hope you find something.
