R12.2.2 or R12.1.3 Oracle eBusiness Suite

Hello gurus,

What is your recommendation for a new implementation of Oracle, the Instance with the R12.2.2 configuration or use the R12.1.3 (with the corrective criticism to date)?

The R12.2.2. is working well or if you find any bugs?

Waiting for your comments,

Ahmed T.

  • How to become an Oracle eBusiness Suite Developer

    Hi all

My name is John and I've been an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for over 10 years now. I have also built and programmed in Oracle Forms and Reports using version 4, 5, 6i as well 10. I always wanted to enter the area of the Oracle e-Business market and this year I would take seriously the fulfilment of that ambition.

My main questions included is only a logical or appropriate means where I can learn about Oracle eBusiness Suite, i.e. I should learn it in a class, get a book and learn it install the necessary software and put it into practice myself or is there another method? Since there are so many resided in the Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, what modules should I focus on? Should I try one more popular that most companies currently use? And most important of all, even if I were able to equip skills Oracle e-Business, both technical and functional, given that I was only that in my free time, but not working for an employer, or with no work experience in this product, you would think I stand a good chance to be used by potential employers. As most of the Oracle eBusiness related Announces employment in Australia require at least 3 to 5 years of e-Business Suite experience. I thank you for your time and your advice and have a nice day.

    Hello

I want to know if the Oracle Database Valut installation option comes with Oracle EBusiness Suite, or we need to install it separately as part of the installation of the database?

I'm hoping to break into the Oracle functional world in the coming months / years after having been the company drive on a recent company Oracle Financials implementation that I work.

Instead of simply to read manuals, I want to do a practical training. After doing some research, I see there are on the market of products that offer an instance vision of Oracle installed on a hard drive. I was planning on buying one of them to install home and practice at my own pace.

Can anyone confirm if there is a justified reason why I shouldn't go ahead with this? My understanding is that as long as I use it to train at home, it must be correct. I want to just make sure that these products are legitimate.

There should be no problem in buying one of these laptops with Oracle E-Business Suite already installed. However, if you download and install Oracle E-Business Suite yourself, you are supposed to use the product for free (evaluation) for the first 30 days, then the product license - https://edelivery.oracle.com/

Beacon solution offers free access to the 11i and R12 Vision demo instances. To use these forums, you must have a valid CSI number. You can access 11i and R12 Vision demo instances via the following links:

  • Number of attempted to take up IZ0-204 for Oracle eBusiness Suite review

I wonder once I have save and pay up IZ0-204 examination fees, how many attempts to take the exam?

Should I pay the tax to reappear in the review, if I failed in the first attempt?

You may have seen Sun offers which sometimes ofers free times. Don't forget fees of Sun in the Oracle double price for the exams. Oracle continues it charges for review at the lower end of the certiification costs of the review of the market and can not really make this kind of offer. I prefer the approach minmiizing cost Oracle that they double the price and then sometimes provide a re - take free or other stupid reductions.

  • Deploy the Hello world on a test Oracle eBusiness Suite application

    Hello

I created the project Hello World in the Oracle Applications Framework (11.5.10 RUP5) Developer Guide.

How to deploy the "application" of the e-Business Suite test environment? The Devguide shows how to perform a large number of additional measures, such as the deployment of the business object and so forth (the helloworld application is none of those)...

What steps are necessary to deploy the Hello World application, to make it work in e-Business Suite (Chapter 1 Page 26)?

    Thanks for the tips!

Your script does not mention the root directory. Run this:

    /MyTest/Oracle/dbcomn/Java/Oracle/Apps/AK/Hello/WebUI/AndrasPG.XML - rootdir/mytest/oracle to Java oracle.jrad.tools.xml.importer.XMLImporter/dbcomn/java/apps - username username-password xxxxxx - dbconnection "(description = (addr

Hope that you enter the correct host, port, and SID number.

    Thanks for the help guys.

    I created wlfullclient.jar and added instead wlclient.jar

    1. go to the server/lib directory.

    CD WL_HOME/server/lib

    2. use the following command to create wlfullclient.jar in server/lib directory:

    java-jar wljarbuilder.jar

    3. you can now copy and group wlfullclient.jar with client applications

After that, I got error about not activate remote JDBC. Solution:

    /Oracle/middleware/user_projects/domains/ECMdomain/bin/setDomainEnv.sh

    WLS_JDBC_REMOTE_ENABLED = "-Dweblogic.jdbc.remoteEnabled =true"

After these steps, I waited to succeed =) but once again an error:

    java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: oracle/sql/BfileDBAccess

Solution: add ojdbc6.jar to the project

Now all the perfect job. I hope that this statement will help someone!

  • DR Set for Oracle SOA SUite

    Hi all

We have to implement DR for environment SOA HA Production. Here is the overview of our production environment:

1 load balancer F5 to load balance requests on the web node.
    2. two nodes of the web - OHS layer is hosted on the nodes
    3. two node cluster - SOA and OSB cluster SOA is installed on both production AppS node (Oracle SOA suite 11 g on dual Cluster node)
    4 node RAC database

    Infrastructure avilable Dr. implemented are:

    1 one Web node
    2. a single Application node
    3. the database node

A standby node updated database in place is already done for DR replication on the end of DB.

We have to set up the Web and Application Tier npw.

Most of the documentation of Oracle that I lived contains as configuration. that is the DOUBLE knot DR put in place to double knot prod environment.

But here, in our case 1 Web and applications 1 node Dr. While for production, we have 2 Web and 2 nodes of Apps.

What should be the best approach to DR configuration with available infrastructure above. Should we just install the binary files on standalone DR nodes and route traffic through while we load balancer activity DR?

Is replication required disk for everything other than JMS queue store directories? If reproduce us the JSM file storage will be relevant at the DR site?

Is this Setup looks doable or do I consider something lse as well?

Configuration asymmetrical DR for products of BCI is flly supported by Oracle, this can be achieved by creating alias on the primary and DR server name and set the services to listen on the alias name.

  • Installation of Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g

    Hi all

We have a requirement where we need to install full Oracle WebCenter Suite 11 g. I think starting with a component at a time, in the process began with WebCenter content, and once he did want to go with other products. Is this approach feasible?

Now, when you install WebCenter content do we need to have Oracle SOA suite as well (compulsory) for some components or can we ignore it and install necessary at a later point in time?

Can someone please answer my questions above to go ahead with the installation?

    Thank you

    Moore

    Hello

What previously mention Webcenter suite and Soa Suite is two different products as a whole.

When you say "our development Team wishes to explore the product and it's features" then now you install just webcenter content. With this installation, you will be able to extend the content area for the three products namely Webcenter Capture, Webcenter, Webcenter Imaging.AXF tables will be automatically created under the scheme of imagery.

Once you want to integrate AXF SOA then go ahead and install SOA suite in same or different area and integrate them. (So at this point, you can skip this step associated with SOA).

Note: AXF BPM necessary suite BPM and AXF for BPEL need SOA Suite (BPM is yet another product built on SOA suite)
