How to become an Oracle eBusiness Suite Developer

Hi all

My name is John and I've been an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for over 10 years now. I have also built and programmed in Oracle Forms and Reports using version 4, 5, 6i as well 10. I always wanted to enter the area of the Oracle e-Business market and this year I would take seriously the fulfilment of that ambition.

My main questions included is only a logical or appropriate means where I can learn about Oracle eBusiness Suite, i.e. I should learn it in a class, get a book and learn it install the necessary software and put it into practice myself or is there another method? Since there are so many resided in the Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, what modules should I focus on? Should I try one more popular that most companies currently use? And most important of all, even if I were able to equip skills Oracle e-Business, both technical and functional, given that I was only that in my free time, but not working for an employer, or with no work experience in this product, you would think I stand a good chance to be used by potential employers. As most of the Oracle eBusiness related Announces employment in Australia require at least 3 to 5 years of e-Business Suite experience. I thank you for your time and your advice and have a nice day.

Kind regards
John

  • Deploy the Hello world on a test Oracle eBusiness Suite application

    Hello

I created the project Hello World in the Oracle Applications Framework (11.5.10 RUP5) Developer Guide.

How to deploy the "application" of the e-Business Suite test environment? The Devguide shows how to perform a large number of additional measures, such as the deployment of the business object and so forth (the helloworld application is none of those)...

What steps are necessary to deploy the Hello World application, to make it work in e-Business Suite (Chapter 1 Page 26)?

    Thanks for the tips!

I'm hoping to break into the Oracle functional world in the coming months / years after having been the company drive on a recent company Oracle Financials implementation that I work.

Instead of simply to read manuals, I want to do a practical training. After doing some research, I see there are on the market of products that offer an instance vision of Oracle installed on a hard drive. I was planning on buying one of them to install home and practice at my own pace.

Can anyone confirm if there is a justified reason why I shouldn't go ahead with this? My understanding is that as long as I use it to train at home, it must be correct. I want to just make sure that these products are legitimate.

  • Number of attempted to take up IZ0-204 for Oracle eBusiness Suite review

I wonder once I have save and pay up IZ0-204 examination fees, how many attempts to take the exam?

Should I pay the tax to reappear in the review, if I failed in the first attempt?

You may have seen Sun offers which sometimes ofers free times. Don't forget fees of Sun in the Oracle double price for the exams. Oracle continues it charges for review at the lower end of the certiification costs of the review of the market and can not really make this kind of offer. I prefer the approach minmiizing cost Oracle that they double the price and then sometimes provide a re - take free or other stupid reductions.

  • Migration of applications with Oracle eBusiness Suite Rel 12 platform

    Hello

We use the Doc-ID 438086.1 to migrate the EBS application to RedHat Linux 6 platform, we want to understand how we can proceed with the migration steps while the level of the application runs on the current platform.

We also want to understand how we can compile forms/pll objects that we are not allowed so that they are taken up by adadmin.

    Thanks in advance

    Samuel,

I would recommend bringing the source application node down when you start with ' Section 2: Migration of tasks "(when the clone/installation is complete) and before you run the automatic configuration according to the step 7

  • How to become a master of the development module?

I know it's a topic for a lot of books and years of experience, but just to me get off to a better start, what is the best way to work with sporty? Is it just to start from the top to the bottom, from the histogram? I heard that you should establish a balance of white first. I'm shooting RAW and feeling that Lightroom is a great place to enjoy the most of the potential of the image. I know that the advanced tips that Photoshop can do, but for the exhibition simple and color correction, I start thinking that Lightroom has it all.

Please inquire about what you are looking for as you go through the process.

    Thank you

    Ken

Ken, you're right.  There are a number of books that offer their contributions on the way to work through the module development.

For a quick response, I would say that I generally work from the top to down most of the time.

Before entering the sliders, I first do some cropping that needs to be done. After that, usually fix all errors as dust spots.

I would like to correct the balance of whites first and then I work through the cursors exposure, blacks, recovery and fill light. (Almost everyone of my photos at least gets some exposure adjustment and blacks.)  I usually add some clarity and Vibrance, also.

Most of my images get a little vignetting (darkening of the edges slightly) adjustment.

This is the time of local adjustments.  I use the Local adjustment brush and the graduated filter to make local changes I want. (Most of my images can be improved by a bit of local adjustment).

Other than that, if my images need / envy, something else, I just jump around the different development options.

    Hope that helps.

I have a list of books recommended for Lightrom to TheLightroomLab.com, if you are looking for more detailed advice.

Could you please tell how we can check if the application of Oracle eBusiness suite improved 11-12?

    Hi Mohammed,.

Query AD_BUGS to '6678700' which is the driver of patch for 11i upgrade. If the fix exists then the instance has been upgraded to 11i, otherwise it is a new installation.

  • ADF - Ebusiness suite integration

    Hi Experts,

I followed Note 974949.1 for the integration of my request for 11 g ADF with Oracle Ebusiness suite 12.1.3:

1 AppsDataSource, has created and able to access the database data.

2 the security field created with ExtAuthenticator

    3. has created custom roles UMX and assigned to users / responsibilities.

    4. set the external profile ADF URL option.

    5. configure the ADF with ADF security enforcement, create business for UMX roles roles.

Now I am able to join the ADF page with a function ADFX to a menu with responsibility for E-business suite. When I click on this function, it takes me to my page ADF, but he asked me to name new user password (I tried all types of ADF security - basic, Digest, etc.). If I give a password valid ebusiness suite user name, it shows me my page else not. So it of using eBusiness suite as authenticator, but do not provide no not me alone signed.

Can you please suggest how to achieve? Just to inform, we do not have license for Oracle Access manager etc... so please notify, if possible using the ADF, Ebiz SDK for Java or with a coding security?

    Kind regards

    Ricky

    Hi Ricky,.

If the condition is to have a seamless integration between EBS and ADF application (without inviting the user to enter the credentials again), you can get the use of the "integration of shared Session.
You will need to implement your ADF phaselistener that interacts with the module of the Application root to set the session of the ADF.
You can find more details in "http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/tutorials/ebs-sdk-best-practices-1887169.pdf".

Your ID of Customer Support (ISC) is the unique ID to your company (or indeed yourself as an individual if you are so lucky) when you purchase oracle licenses (i.e. become a paying customer) who should have a company that uses Oracle in the trade.  Someone within the company (your company) will be the 'customer user administrator' and they have the possibility to connect to My Oracle Support and associate other people in society against the CSI for the company, allowing them to use My Oracle Support and increase the requests of Support (SR) with Oracle directly.  For example, in our Organization, one of our DBA is the AUC, so when I joined I had to go to his house to ask him to add me, so that I could raise calls for technical support with Oracle and the community of MOS and the knowledge base of research.

Once you have access to My Oracle Support (MOS) you can search this is the knowledge base, download patches and other versions of the software is not available publicly, or lift SRs to get help from Oracle.

  • Installation of Oracle WebCenter Suite 11g

    Hi all

We have a requirement where we need to install full Oracle WebCenter Suite 11 g. I think starting with a component at a time, in the process began with WebCenter content, and once he did want to go with other products. Is this approach feasible?

Now, when you install WebCenter content do we need to have Oracle SOA suite as well (compulsory) for some components or can we ignore it and install necessary at a later point in time?

Can someone please answer my questions above to go ahead with the installation?

    Thank you

    Moore

    Hello

What previously mention Webcenter suite and Soa Suite is two different products as a whole.

When you say "our development Team wishes to explore the product and it's features" then now you install just webcenter content. With this installation, you will be able to extend the content area for the three products namely Webcenter Capture, Webcenter, Webcenter Imaging.AXF tables will be automatically created under the scheme of imagery.

Once you want to integrate AXF SOA then go ahead and install SOA suite in same or different area and integrate them. (So at this point, you can skip this step associated with SOA).

Note: AXF BPM necessary suite BPM and AXF for BPEL need SOA Suite (BPM is yet another product built on SOA suite)
