  My name is John and I've been an Oracle PL/SQL Developer for over 10 years now. I have also built and programmed in Oracle Forms and Reports using version 4, 5, 6i as well 10. I always wanted to enter the area of the Oracle e-Business market and this year I would take seriously the fulfilment of that ambition.
  
  My main questions included is only a logical or appropriate means where I can learn about Oracle eBusiness Suite, i.e. I should learn it in a class, get a book and learn it install the necessary software and put it into practice myself or is there another method? Since there are so many resided in the Oracle eBusiness Suite modules, what modules should I focus on? Should I try one more popular that most companies currently use? And most important of all, even if I were able to equip skills Oracle e-Business, both technical and functional, given that I was only that in my free time, but not working for an employer, or with no work experience in this product, you would think I stand a good chance to be used by potential employers. As most of the Oracle eBusiness related Announces employment in Australia require at least 3 to 5 years of e-Business Suite experience.   We use the Doc-ID 438086.1 to migrate the EBS application to RedHat Linux 6 platform, we want to understand how we can proceed with the migration steps while the level of the application runs on the current platform.

  We also want to understand how we can compile forms/pll objects that we are not allowed so that they are taken up by adadmin.

  I wonder once I have save and pay up IZ0-204 examination fees, how many attempts to take the exam?

  You may have seen Sun offers which sometimes ofers free times. Don't forget fees of Sun in the Oracle double price for the exams. Oracle continues it charges for review at the lower end of the certiification costs of the review of the market and can not really make this kind of offer. I prefer the approach minmiizing cost Oracle that they double the price and then sometimes provide a re - take free or other stupid reductions.

• ADF - Ebusiness suite integration

  Hi Experts,

  I followed Note 974949.1 for the integration of my request for 11 g ADF with Oracle Ebusiness suite 12.1.3:

  1 AppsDataSource, has created and able to access the database data.

  2 the security field created with ExtAuthenticator

  3. has created custom roles UMX and assigned to users / responsibilities.

  4. set the external profile ADF URL option.

  5. configure the ADF with ADF security enforcement, create business for UMX roles roles.

  Now I am able to join the ADF page with a function ADFX to a menu with responsibility for E-business suite. When I click on this function, it takes me to my page ADF, but he asked me to name new user password (I tried all types of ADF security - basic, Digest, etc.). If I give a password valid ebusiness suite user name, it shows me my page else not. So it of using eBusiness suite as authenticator, but do not provide no not me alone signed.

  Can you please suggest how to achieve? Just to inform, we do not have license for Oracle Access manager etc... so please notify, if possible using the ADF, Ebiz SDK for Java or with a coding security?

  Hi Ricky,.

  If the condition is to have a seamless integration between EBS and ADF application (without inviting the user to enter the credentials again), you can get the use of the "integration of shared Session.
  You will need to implement your ADF phaselistener that interacts with the module of the Application root to set the session of the ADF.

  I use Oracle Collaboration Suite and need to use its various applications such as the Discussion Forums, Web Conferencning, Messenger and the calendar of the Oracle.
  
  Can someone tell me what are the different ways to customize these applications User Interfaces. For example, replace the Oracle logo with the logo of my business on the Web Conferencing Console, change the appearance (colors, CSS) etc.

• Oracle SOA Suite install for EBS R12.2.3

  I use the following Oracle Support document trying to get SOAP based web services for my install R12.2.3 Vision.

  Installation of Oracle E-Business Suite integrated SOA Gateway, version 12.2 (Doc ID 1311068.1()

  The first step is to install on SOA, if I can have more SOA running on the same VM as my app server.

  The DB and the application server are boxes VM with 12 GB RAM and 400 GB of space.

  Will be the RAM problem become if services SOA and Apps work together?

  Or will it be an idea that is sure to have a box of seperateVM for the rest of the SOA

  As shown in the docs--> install Oracle SOA Suite 11 g (11.1.1.7.0) (recommended) or Oracle SOA Suite 11 g (11.1.1.6.0) running on the server, WebLogic 11 g (10.3.6) on a separate Oracle WebLogic Server.

  I'm fairly new to SOA Suite and try to learn it free out of curiosity.
  
  The problem is I want to do some POC for healthcare scenarios, as I currently work in a basic health project.
  
  I installed Oracle SOA Suite 11.1.1.5.0. As part of the SOA Suite installation, the following components have been installed.
  1 oracle database
  2 Weblogic server
  3. REGIONAL COORDINATION UNIT
  4 SOA Suite
  5 JDeveloper
  6 extension for JDeveloper SOA
  
  Therefore, to improve the SOA Suite for the construction of scenarios of healthcare, I'm stuck upward with the following questions:
  
  1. what install everything?
  2. where can I find the downloadable necessary?
  3. how to install it?

  If you want to work on a CEP then please use Oracle SOA 11.1.1.6 for the integration of health care. It is not recommended to use the PS4 (11.1.1.5).

• Oracle BPM 10gR 3-Oracle SOA Suite 11g

  I'm not sure that some body else already asked.
  
  I produced Oracle BPM in production which is fine and happy with the way it works. Its developed from Version: 10.3.1.0.0 build: 100364 #. We use custom JSP, JavaComponent, etc. GRANDPA in this.
  
  We are thinking of migrating to SOA to Oracle 11g Suite.
  
  Is there any tool for that? If this isn't the case, nothing provided for?
  
  Do we need to re - write our application BPM from 10 g to 11 g? What all parties might need to re - write?

  To answer your question in the right way, I fear that there is no direct migration path of OBPM 10 g to Oracle SOA Suite 11 g. You will need to write to us - many things like

  1. the present of the BPM API are not public. If u will be something like GRANDPA as OBPM
  2. There is no support for PBL/Java in Oracle 11 g BPM. However, if you want to use the custom Java component you can use BPEL or spring with BPM. After all, each component is packed inside a single composite.
  3. it is recommended to have all of the dashboards and UI user developed with ADF if you are with Oracle SOA Suite 11 g but even if you have a JSP that shouldn't be a problem.

• Oracle Developer Suite 10g on Windows 7

  Hello. Does anyone know if in the course of execution that oracle Developer Suite 10 g (10.1.2.0.2) on Windows 7 is supported?

  It is a very common question in the Forum. Oracle Developer Suite (ODS) 10g R2 (with Group of patches 3: 10.1.3.0.2) is supported on Windows 7 32 bit. Finally, I checked, it was not supported on Windows 7 64 bit. Keep in mind that it's just for the installation of developer of ODS. Version 10.1.2.0.2 is not supported, but it will work. Just follow the instructions to install it on Windows Vista (search the Forum - there many posts on this topic as well).

  The client application is supported on all versions of Windows (32 or 64 bit).
