R51 no Internet wireless or wired after reformat
I lost my recovery disks, so I used another copy of XP, I had. I finished installing, lit, and now he acknowledges two controllers ethernet, an unknown device and no wireless device.
I tried to install the drivers (I downloaded on this PC, burned on a CD and then copied on. "I know that they are of the .exe and I need to run the installer.) but nothing changes. Always said that I need drivers for it. Ideas?
Correct LAN driver can be found here:
http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-62922
Make sure that unzip you it in the appropriate directory: C > drivers > win > Ethernet
Wireless driver:
http://www-307.IBM.com/PC/support/site.WSS/document.do?sitestyle=Lenovo&lndocid=MIGR-67214
Directory must be: C > drivers > win > Wlanath
I hope this helps.

cannot access the internet wireless or wired. Not a router problem.
I'm running windows vista on a dell xps m1330 laptop computer.
My computer recently went crazy; blue screen came, said something about a dump of memory and rebooted. I was then invited to enter the product key windows again and re save my copy of windows. It worked well, but since I can't access the internet. I tried to use wireless and wired connections, but it just says: "unidentified network: local only.
I tried watching drivers etc. but am not too computer savvy and nothing seems obviously wrong. I ran a mcafee, defender of windows and malware bites scans and nothing shows.
Oh and certainly nothing to do with the internet/router, I run several other computers with no problems.
I feel like a fool now I locked my firewall when the computer crashed and I forgot to turn it off!

WRT54G2 v1 - Internet is slow wireless AND WIRED
OK, so I get my internet to an ethernet cable plugged into the wall (I don't know if its cable or dsl because I live in an apartment). When I connect from the wall to my Macbook internet is fast with Mbit/s to 30. But, when I connect to my router ethernet cable and try to access the internet, wireless or wired through the router it takes 15 seconds to load a Yahoo page or a Facebook page
Now for the confusing part. When I use the wireless on my PS3 (implemented with automatic adjustment to the subject), it goes fast enough where he can even listen to HD Netflix movies and fast enough not to get lag on Call of Duty or no games. But when I want to look at a web page on my iPod Touch, Blackberry phone, Macbook Pro and 3DS it takes forever to load a. Interestingly enough, I tried to SpeedTest.net on my Macbook and here is my result when connected wireless (always takes forever to load a Web page, and it does not load the hulu or youtube videos).
Any advice will help!

I have a hp430 laptop with Windows 7 64 bit ultimate. After having a kind of pilot/virus that froze my computer, even once, I reinstalled my laptop with windows 7 64-bit ultimate.
Now it cannot connect to the internet through wireless. I tried all the basics: by pressing the button to turn on the WIFI on my keyboard, restarted my computer, which allows to disable the internet connection in the network area, etc..
In Device Manager I see 4 devices linked to the internet wireless:
1 > 1 other devices > network controller
2 > pci device
3 > pci simple communication controller
4 > Sm bus controller
-all the features above then have a yellow warning sign-the error is to have no driver installed.
What should I do? How can I get my Wi - Fi to work again?
I found a solution
go through that link above just enter #ven in the name of the Salesperson box and #dev in the dev on search button vill box.click a list of devices .go through the device u pc download of the combination of this vill...
for #ven and #dev, we need to click on 'network controller', which need drivers in Device Manager.
Then click on the Details tab. In the property drop-down list, select the second element (Hardware ID).
We can get to the #ven and #dev of the first string you see in the window...
hope this helps others...

Your router could be suspicious here, you have successfully updated its firmware as a possible solution? And I would like to
Update your WiFi drivers on computers. How you are positioned in the router? Are there
obstacles in the path?Actually try updating your driver and disabling the network logon.
Control Panel - network - write down of the brand and the model of the Wifi - double click top - tab of the driver - write
version - click the driver update (cannot do something that MS is far behind the pilots of certification). Then
Right click on the Wifi device and UNINSTALL - Reboot - it will refresh the driver stack.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

After watching the system manufacturer, you can check the manufacturer of the device an even newer version. (The

NO INTERNET via the wireless or wired
My Dell Inspiration 5520 with Windows 7 (almost 2 years old) just started gave me wrong with internet connection. It wouldn't connect wirelessly as it usually does. I thought that the problem could be with my router but our other deviceswere works very well (smartphones and our smart TV was streaming netflix very well). I tried to connect with an Ethernet cable with the same results. The computer says it is connected to the internet both ways, but when I try to use the internet, it will not work. I tried the following things with nothing doesn't...
Rebooted the router and computer, restarted wireless card, verify that the drivers are up-to-datetried different browsers (chrome and ie)I know sometimes windows updates may interfere. Then I checked and there is not these recent updates installed. I thought that I would always try to system restore but the computer could not complete successfully. The update only the latter was my antivirus AVG Free. So I tried disabling it and windows firewall but still no connection.
I have no idea why my computer is doing this. If someone saw it, your help would be greatly appreciated.Hi ashlealayne,

Internet wireless on the laptop works do not under Vista
Hi guys. My laptop cannot connect to wireless internet. I tried to use ConfigFree Diagnostic tests already installed on my computer, reset the router, and even taking on the router for 30 seconds and put it to. On my laptop wireless switch is turned on, too. Is the only way I can connect to the internet via an ethernet cable and I started to disconnect from the internet wireless yesterday after I restarted my laptop. I know that the modem is not the problem because my brother's laptop can connect to the net to wireless. Thank you in advance.
Hello
Update the driver WiFi, use the wired (NIC) to download the driver or do it on another
system and your transfer on removable media such as CD, DVD or a USB key.Control Panel - device - network - WiFi note the brand manager and full
model information - double click - writing tab Drivers version - then power management tab uncheck "allow the computer to turn off this device...". »Then on the tab driver, click Update driver (this can do nothing as MS is far behind
drivers of certification) - then right click on the device - UNINSTALL - REBOOT - this will
update the driver stack.Go to system Maker and search for the WiFi Driver updated - download - SAVE - go to
where you put it - make a right click on it - RUN AS ADMIN - REBOOTThen go to the site of the manufacturer of the device and get even more recent (Realtek, Intel, or one that makes
the device) and try the install again.Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Internet connection suddenly disappeared after that Win 7 updated today
Suddenly my Windows 7 computer has no internet. Seems to coincide with a series of critical updates that were installed this morning. Also, I can't do a restore for some reason any.
The network icon shows the connection to my router and indicates that the connection has internet connectivity.
I can ping my router, but not shoot to the top of its web page in a browser (IE 11, Chrome, Firefox all tried). I can pull up other computers on the network.
I can one of Google's servers to 74.125.224.72 ping, but cannot pull it up in a browser.
When I boot in safe mode with network, the results are the same.
NO request that goes to the internet, including IE, Outlook, update AVG, etc. can find something there.
I tried the normal stuff: restart the router, PC. Tried a restore point, but he failed. Even if the PC is the router's IP, I did ipconfig / renew to release and rediscover IP. I disabled the antivirus and firewall to see if it works.
Any help? Desperate, because I spent hours and depend on the work of the machine.
Thank you.

WIRELESS and wired LAN do not know each other
My internet provider installed a new cable modem, without capacity WIFI because I have an airport extreme base WIFI (with cable Express extensions). Speed and quality are OK, wireless and wired, but there seems to be a wall of China between WIFI and wired (LAN): devices that are connected via a cable to my LAN are not visible from the wireless network and vice versa. Airport extreme is not 'Bridge' mode ("because not of wireless on the new modem capability".)
No idea of the reasons for this? Thank you very much
Sounds like the configuration of the device. With the airport devices it can operate as a device on the network or another firewall as its own network. I think that it is way jumpered to activate, this will allow you to configure the wireless on the airport, but your current router will do the DNS/DHCP and will be a single network.
Now that you have configured as two routers on an independent network as there is no bridge.

Satellite L750 Wireless wifi off after recovering mode standby
I put wireless connected automatically in "manage wireless networks", however, after Windows starts, I can see the computer is trying to connect for a few seconds, then a red cross click on top of the wireless icon. I have to press Fn + F8 once (cards Flash showing Wireless WIFI is on) to activate ' on > Off ", and then again to" Off > on ' to connect to your home WIFI network. In addition, the wireless light is always disabled when the wireless network is connected because I could access the Internet.
And if I don't do the trick to turn off then put on, the diagnosis function network could never solve the problem.
Can you give me an idea to solve this annoying problem of having to press Fn + F8 several times?
See you soon
Andy
Hello
In my case the WiFi network is always enabled, if previously I have activated the WLan using FN + F8 option.
So it s not known to me why you use this combination once more, if the WiFi network has been activated in the first step. However, an update of the WLan driver might solve this problem
Check the latest Wlan driver for your WLan card from this page:

Let me know...
1. what operating system do you use?
2. is it a wireless or wired connection?
3. you get an error message?
4. If Yes, what is the exact error message you are getting?
