R8000 abandons internet connection

My Netgear router is constantly giving up connection. It worked very well for the first 6 months after purchase. I had updated the firmware months ago and everything worked fine afterwards. Connection is via modem cable. Don't know what I can do. All of the suggestions.

Thank you. It turned out that there was a line problem. Too static. He wiped at the end of the ISP and works now expectations again.

The gateway is only a couple of years, but it can still be the cause.  Other router ports work better.  Ping the router does no error.  I have the ping set every second.

  • Flash Player download guard fails with the interruption of the connection and then abandoned.  satellite, Internet connection

    Win XP. Firefox 34.0.5 (latest)

Continuous Flash Player download fail with the interruption of the connection and then abandons. I'm on a satellite Internet connection.

It seems to be extremely slow, even when loading the installer which is only 1 MB. Then when I run the Setup and it starts to download the installation there are frequent messages lose the connection and then finally give up.

I had problems with other software crashes when I'm on a satellite link. This is probably because of the huge latency that can be regarded as a failure of the link. Ping times are usually 800ms but can sometimes be 2000ms!

    Hello

The installation of fix online program, you use actually download and install Flash Player silently in the background.  If your satellite connection has latency problems, it could cause failure to download.  Please try the published full installer at the bottom of the problems Installation | Flash Player | Windows page, in the section "problems".

  • Abandonment of the wireless Internet connection when you use HP G62 PC with HDMI connector to a TV from Samsung LE40C580

Although I have connected my laptop HP G62 to my Samsung LE40C580 TV via a HDMI 1 meter and everything worked OK. The wireless internet then falls after a few minutes. Hello

What version of the Windows operating system is installed on your computer?

I would suggest trying the following methods and check if it helps.

    Method 1:

Run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter and check if that helps.

Follow the steps to run the Internet Connection Troubleshooter:

Click the Start button, type Troubleshooting in the search box, and then click Troubleshooting. Under network and Internet, click connect to the Internet and run the troubleshooter.

    Method 2:

Try to update the graphics driver and check if it helps.

Update a hardware driver that is not working properly: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isn ' t-work properly

    Hope the information is useful.

  • Iconia A500 - abandonment to chance internet connection

I got this Acer Iconia A500 for quite awhile. I love this little tablet and never had a problem since the purchase. However, over the last 2 weeks, he started the Internet randomly-'No Internet Connection'. I can be in the same room as the router and it loses connection, even with a signal strong. During this time, all my other devices are still connected to the Wifi. Passing off the coast and on the Tablet does not work. In order to reset the connection, I have to maually shut down the router and power back on. Needless to say it's very aggravating to do this 10 times a day. I don't want to reset to factory settings and lost all my saved apps and docs and programs. I use android 4.0.3.  Does anyone else have this problem and have you found a resolution?

If the worst case scenario is that I have to live with it, I don't want to. I'll switch to a Galaxy and recant Acer permanently. Help!

    What is its aggravation.

There are two sides to look at when you are troubleshooting a problem: software and hardware.

The simpler of the two to eliminate generally is on the software side.  This is easily achieved by recharging the system.

Should you back up your data, of course.  The good thing about Android is that it is relatively easy to put the applications installed on the system.

The other side is the material, which I wouldn't be able to do anything on the community.  You need to talk to your local Acer technical support to set up a repair if you have a hardware failure.

If the card has worked without problems for a long period of time and suddenly has problems, you can remove the software, but if it persists, it is probably a hardware problem.

  • iMac intermittent Internet connection... a little

    Good evening to all!

I have an iMac mid-2011 running on OS X 10.10.5. A few weeks ago it started giving me *. Most of the time, it works very well. However, from time to time (it can vary from once in a weekend several times a day), he abandoned the Internet connection... a little. It is quite complicated to explain, and English is not my native language so patient with me. Randomly, some Web sites and right areas will become inaccessible. Reloading Web pages does not get me anywhere. Does that change the error message in my browser that will come to me. I can also access most video games require an online connection while my iMac is upward. I can quite strangely, still receive and send emails and use applications such as Skype or uTorrent. Some sites Web will always also. Most of the time, YouTube is completely functional. Is the same for the Google search function, although I can not load search results when I click on them. Facebook tends to load with an extremely messed up display. I say 'more' and ' tend to "because it happened a few times that even these sites Web would not load. Applications like Skype and Mail have never failed me up to this point. Homepage of Skype app comes down with the drops, however.

I use mostly Chrome, but the problem is also present on Safari. I've not installed on one of these two browsers of extensions. The problem is not limited to my user. Other iMacs on the network experiment not these drops. Restarted my iMac seems to fix it temporarily. I tried to use other DNS. The issue is extremely intermittent and the 'drops' length varies from a few seconds to an hour. Here are the screenshots of the various errors that Chrome gives me (there is no reason, reload and another one pops up). I know they are in French, but it's the best I can do. I'm really desperate for help because I'm taking courses online soon.

    Thanks in advance,

    A lost Mac user ~.

uTorrent is your problem.  Relying on software illicet means that may have installed something that hurts your connection to the network.  Sorry, but you really need to remove all software obtained torrent.  Get software only directly from the developers and the Mac App Store.  MacUpdate is good also, but never get Mackeeper.

  • Satellite Pro C665 and internet connection problems

Hi, will try and give as much information as I can, so sorry for the long post.

I bought this new laptop in August is so very old, I connect to the internet with modem USB 3 G telstra and a cycle of 3 weeks he began to abandon the connection within 30 seconds approximately.
The blue LED on the identification of the USB modem still flash, it has a connection, but I would get the yellow explanation mark on the icon of internet connection in the task bar.

Now, the only way to recover the connection must close the connection of Telstra, unplug it, plug it back in and reconnect, a few times I have to reboot and will have to go through this routine 5 - 6 times and sometimes up to 10 attempts before I get a stable connection.

So first I thought it might be the USB modem, so I got a replacement of telstra, but made no difference, then I had a replacement sim card and still no luck.

Then I did a new install of Windows 7 and installed all the current updates, still no go.

I then bought a wireless router to eliminate the USB connection and still have the same question.

Sometimes it can be very frustrating trying to get a solid connection, but once it gets a good connection, it will stay connected for hours without any problem

I'm not an expert with computers, but can usually find a solution to problems of software, I have, but that left me speechless and I think I've covered most of the region to address this.

    Thanks for your time.

Unfortunately I can't say anything on Telstra 3 G USB modem. Toshiba doesn't support third party hardware, software and does not offer any kind of support.

I put t know where you got this USB modem but I m wondering you didn't visit their store and test in functionality it bring your laptop with you. The people who work there could make inspection on site.

I also put t know why you have this problem at home. Your router is not known to us, but is there a difference when using WLAN secure or unlocked and without password?

  • Satellite L50 - B - 21 G: abandon WLan connection / power issue

I bought my laptop about six weeks ago and its driving me crazy. I could be sitting with him and suddenly I lose the internet connection, I try to reconnect, but cannot as he seems to have "abandoned" the Broadcom 802.11n network adapter. I'm not very irritable but sees someone else has had this problem and follow a few instructions to restore the previous driver for the network adapter, but it just made things worse.

In addition, I can never turn my laptop. If I choose the "shut down" option then it turns off, but there is always a light flashing around the power button. I heard he's going a few hybrid sleep, but I had instructions to stop this, but again its happening. I can't just press the power button to restart the laptop it restarts with the loss of the network adapter (see above), so I sit in pressing and holding the button several times until it restarts finally with the back working network adapter.

If I just stopped the lid (as I applied this option overall upwards), then three hours I can just return, press a button and begin to work, however, once again, I can not because the network adapter is down and I have to then push and hold the power button (that choose shut down doesn't seem to work).

This laptop was designed to replace an old ADVENT that caused me grief, but I'm done with nothing else than a box of junk that I want to throw. Worse yet, I'm not at all way techy am so not able to do what many of you can do to correct problems so I tried to find a phone number to call Toshiba and never get an option to type in what is my problem and then follow the online help that I tried and does not work! Y at - there someone who can give me a number for Toshiba that I can call for help if I need help more than anybody can give me here? Thank you.

I have already answered in another thread with the similar question of Wlan and I guess it could be a related issue of energy saving:

    Reach:
Windows power options - choose the right central - advanced power options.
Search of the WLan card settings and set it to "best performance".
You must also set the parameters for the PCI express for the 'best performance '.

In addition, go to the Device Manager. Choose here the Wlan card properties
Switch to the last tab called "Power Management" and make sure that the option available in this tab is not checked!

  • Having trouble with my internet connection through wifi. N600 router is what I think.

I had some problems with my internet connection recently via my wireless router. I get the little triangle yellow and with the connection at different times and I can't call my local internet provider because it still works when they are open, and then it closes when they are closed. I recently bought a Google Chromecast and some think it might interfere with the connection, but I don't see how. When I reset the modem router and cable by unplugging and plug their return they sometimes get the rear connection but it's annoying not knowing when it will go off again, then come back. A few months before the connection out sometimes but not several times a day. If you need additional information such as the type IP DNS stuff I can get it. Also recently I have updated the firmware of the Netgear if that makes a difference. Thank you!

Thanks to all who responded. I talked to my ISP and discovered that the modem was abandon the connection because he was old and he sold me a new and things work fine now. Thanks again!

  • D7000 continually drops Internet connection

My new D7000 abandons the Internet connection up to 15 times a day... Sometimes it will run for hours without problem and other times, falling from every 10-15 minutes

He is recovering normally, but he sometimes needs to be restarted manually. As far as I can see, the WAN/Internet is configured correctly for my ISP (BT) because it works perfectly fine, until he falls
(I'm not network guru, but know quite well what I do!)

I have tried eaves values MTU of switching given that others had found that fixed things for them and just changed PPPoA to PPPoE encapsulation without success.

I do not use the latest firmware (given that the update of my old router Netgera bricks it!), but downloaded it read to install manually the next step.

    any help please?

    V1.0.0.18_1.0.1 firmware version
    ISP: BT

Basically, I discovered the following of my ISP:
The initial problem was the result of a failure of the infrastructure - they replaced a wiring for my property
The subsequent recurrence of symptoms has coincided with the upgrade of their Exchange works - they do not alert me of the upgrade until it was completed.

Since then, the connection remained constant and reliable while being 4 times faster than originally.

So, I think that the question is entirely the fault of my ISP.

    Hello

    1. which version of the windows operating system you are using on the computer?
    2. What is the accurate and complete error message you get on the computer?
    3. What are your IP (IP address, default gateway, DNS server) settings?
    4. the connection problem occurred after the infection of viruses on your computer?
    5. What is the dll fix you have run on the computer and he was offered by your antivirus software?

We would not be able to give you specific troubleshooting steps without knowing the operating system installed on your computer. Please let us know the operating system installed that will help to better understand the issue.

    Method 1:
There could be a possibility that the infection by the virus could cause problems on your computer network. However, to make sure that it is not caused by infection by the virus, I suggest that you run a Windows security scanner:
    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2:
You can also set your computer to clean boot and check if you continue to have the same problem.

  • Problem with internet connection 64-bit Windows Vista, unexplained intermittent failure.

original title: PROBLEM CONNECTING WINDOWS VISTA 64 BIT INTERNET - UNEXPLAINED INTERMITTENT OUTAGES

On HP a6542p PC with factory installed Windows Vista (64-bit), Vista operating system program does not take account of Internet broadband, which, in reality, a good connection.  for the first 2 years of operation, the PC internet connection worked well, but a year ago, he started this OFF intermittent / WE internet problem.  SOMETIMES, I can manage to temporarily restore the internet after running randomly across the machine diagnostic & installation programs available to the home screen, OR SOMETIMES also after running REGEDIT in the start (search) bar and watching the TCP/IP settings (do not change them, just watch), but the internet connection drops again after the machine is idle for a few minutes.  I get very tired of the exercise Dog & Pony to run through the different random procedures & hoping that something will work.  I tried the fix from Microsoft using a flashdrive D/L from the Windows site to my XP machine and tried a few manual corrections proposed on various websites, but nothing seems to work.  I have no HP manufacturer disk to reload the Vista operating system.  The connection is good, the cable is good, but Vista gives me contradictory information about the diagnosis, such as ERROR 815, and he tells me also a cable is disconnected (not true, the cable is plugged & good & works very well when the Vista connection is restored), while another diagnostic message indicates the internet connection is good, at the same time other messages say is not.   What can I do to fix this problem in Vista?  Personal e-mail is: * address email is removed from the privacy * -I will check that URL of Web site for the possible answer.    Thanks in advance.

Imrand - Thanks for the tip, I tried it & it didn't work.  However, I found an update of the HP driver for the network card Realtek in my machine, & after d/l this new driver, the problem seems to be fixed.  The Web connection is still good after several cycles of closing & reboot.  I'm not sure, because with this HP Vista PC, I can never be sure of anything, but I think the problem might be due to the rotating system off the NETWORK adapter in sleep mode, & so not put on when waking up.  Diagnostics messages confused and contradictory pages of different screen Windows were of NO use, it looks like the internet connection was good (which it was), while the other would be at the same time say there is no connection due to the disconnection of the cable, while the other at the same time say that the DNS server broadband couldn't recognize my internet query.  Total BS of Vista, which has compounded the problem than he was.  I only am not surprised Microsoft abandoned the Vista operating system so fast, so many other users of Vista have similar internet connection problems.  The user friendly and very stable XP operating system I have on an old PC of Insignia is my favorite.  Microsoft had to quit with it, IMO.

    Thanks for your help, Cimarron

  • Windows 7 of intermittent wired lan/internet connection.

In a Word, my Windows 7 Ultimate (64-bit) PC intermittently drops his internet connection. Why?

Reminder: My PC is connected to my DSL modem/router that is directly connected to the telephone line. I also have wireless connectivity enabled in the router for a laptop to the wireless network.

Every few hours or more, using my PC, I find I can't access the internet and the pages will not load. Finally, Windows7 will update the network icon in the taskbar to display the symbol of an exclamation mark on the network icon. Opening of the network and sharing Center will show the red cross between the 'multiple networks' and 'Internet '.

I'm running VirtualBox of Sun on this machine and creates a network connection for itself. This doesn't seem to affect the intermittent dropping (i.e. drops intermittent occur if the connection of VirtualBox is used or not) and indeed, I installed on the two other machines (Windows XP and the other Vista Home Premium (32 bit)) of VirtualBox and these work without any problem.

When the connection does not drop, I can't access internet pages, or I can access the router at http://192.168.1.1/ web administration page, so I guess I lost all local LAN access too.

It certainly isn't the router (or the Internet itself) as my laptop, using the wireless connection (and running Vista Home Premium) continue to be able to access the internet (and the pages of the router web admin) very well.

Whenever this happens, I can immediately restore all the internet and local network access by opening the network map page, disable the "connect to the Local network' and then the reactivation. Give it a few seconds and all is well again. I guess that's because, under the MISTLETOE, it actually makes a "ipconfig/release" then "ipconfig / renew".

The allocation of IP for Windows 7 computer is the same before and after the "drop". I have a DHCP server on the router issuing IP addresses, but my Windows 7 computer uses a static address (192.168.1.2).  I also tried with a dynamic IP (served to the ADSL router) and there is no difference.

There is also no specific measure in the event logs various system, other than what relates to the abandonment plug which is a "customer DNS event" and it is generated once the connection dropped and is an event specifying DNS information that could not be found for any Web site I can I try to access, just after the connection is interrupted.

The NIC chipset is Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller and I have confirmed that it is the correct chipset for the motherboard (Asus M4A77TD PRO), and in fact, Windows Update installed a driver for this updated January 12, 2009. Details of the update is an update of the Realtek software since December 2009. Either way, I was still having the same intermittent problems before this update. He seems to have done no difference at all.

Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?  I have looked for answers to this and seen a few other people (even on the MSDN/Technet forums) affected by the same or almost the same problem, but with no clear resolution. Suggestions of disabling IPv6 on the LAN adapter and ensure there is no power 'dormant' management the network adapter have been tried but do not cure the problem. It doesn't seem to be a particular sequence of events likely to occur either. I got to go twice in 20 minutes when just randomly on the web without any other traffic and I also had it go once then not again go for 2 or 3 hours with the same type of use.

Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how to make it stop?

My laptop is down the internet connection several times daily. I can usually restore the connection to solve the problem. It restores the connection for a while but always says the same thing. «A network cable connected correctly isnot or can be broken and also problem with wireless adapter access point.» I live with 3 other people and we all use the same router and they have no problems.

Also, my computer has some weird pink points at the top of the home screen. So sometimes when I pull up to early or a photo or something there are pink lines on the photos. No idea why this is happening and how to fix it?

I discovered that I had the same problem of the abandonment of the Internet with HP envy. I went on the Intel site and found that they had a fix for the problem I do not know the wireless card you have that I go to your site of NIC and check and see if they have a patch for your network card. After I installed the patch for my NIC my problem disappeared. HP sent me an email with the appropriate also fix.
