  Hi all

  I'm trying to save a few nuances, so I can use them in another (associated with; part of the same project) document InDesign CC.

  But when I select the color chart I want to save, the option menu to save swatches is grayed out, that is not available.

  Can someone tell me what I'm not step?

  Looks like you are trying to save the gradient or color shades. Unfortunately, ID does not support anything other than colors for the economy.

• Layers panel greyed out

  Ok... I use InDesign CS4.

  My layers panel is completely empty, gray, with no option to add a layer or do anything whatsoever in the Panel. No idea why this is happening? It's driving me crazy!

  OK... when I go in the pages Panel, there is a drop down menu that says info Pages size... and yet everything is gray... No matter what or how to choose the pages, it is gray... How do you get this to activate?

  Hi, I was wondering if anyone can help? Extensions under Windows is gray. I checked my preferences. Any ideas?

  The same thing was happening to me. This is how I fixed it in Windows.

  1. Stop Creative Cloud Desktop app/services and applications that use extensions
  2. Go to c:\users\[username]\appdata\Roaming
  3. Rename the file Extension Manager CC (I chose old_Extension Manager CC)
  4. Uninstall the WIndows extensions Manager
  5. Restart the desktop creative cloud application
  6. Reinstall the extensions Manager
  7. Leave it to update extensions
  8. Restart the applications.

  I would like to 'save' a further action on my Version of CC PS 2015.5.0 - but the action panel isn't visible.

  in the drop-down menu, I can't click the necessary buttons because they are greyed out.

  I use a MAC Version 10.10.5

  If the problem started recently, I suggest you do a system restore to a point when the system worked very well and see if the problem is resolved.

• Swatch Panel weird glitch

  When I try to change a shade existing CMYK, spot color palette seems to load on top of CMYK sliders and I can not change the CMYK swatch.  This has started to happen a week ago out of the blue, and it won't go away.

  We never seen anything like this? I would just point out: PROCESS and mode CMYK color is selected. But the picture represented is Pantone spot.

  Broken Swatches Panel

• My newly created model swatch will not be displayed in the swatch Panel

  I created a model of plaid and dragged to the swatch group. When I tested, I realized there is some error so I deleted the swatch in the swatch Panel, then edited my original (created a bounding box with no fill, no stroke and sent to the rear). When I try to drag the new model highlight in the swatch Panel, this time that it will not be displayed; But if I create a new shade of single color it will be. Help!

  I had the same problem, but the answer by Monika helped me to understand the problem: I divorced from all elements in the model, then checked each one in the appearance Panel. I discovered that I had inadvertently forms filled with a pattern. When I deleted all those unwanted models of each shape and banded everything, I could record the reason as a sample.

• Broken Swatches Panel

  My Swatches from InDesign CS5 Panel crossed yesterday.

  When I select a text box with the arrow tool, I should be able to click on the "box" or "T" icons at the top of the Swatches palette to choose if I want the box to change color or type of color to change. These items are not selectable.

  It works very well in the color Panel, but not the swatches Panel. The swatches Panel works fine when I connect with a different user account.

  I wonder what preference file causes this problem. I tried many files of Adobe preferences out of my library, without success.

• Problem with the swatches Panel

  There is a problem with my Swatches Panel.

  When I select an object that can be colored in the page, such as a box, I choose a color for it in the swatches Panel. but, the little icon top left of this Panel that normally indicates if the color is applied to the fill or line, is empty. I can click on the arrows swap fill and stroke, near the icon and the fill and stroke will swap; but the icon is empty... just gray.

  Indicators of background and outline in the Panel of colors and the toolbar but displays correctly, however.

  The swatches Panel is displayed correctly when logged in another account.

  I'm on a Mac and tried to screw up the "idcs5_Swatches Panel.mxi" and "idcs5_Swatch Library Panel.mxi" files or not available.

  Is there another file I should try screw up? Could this be a conflict with another program?

• Cannot export/Share - greyed out

  I wrapped an edict of 25 minutes on the timeline.  Now, I'm having a few problems for export - all greyed out... can't share.  I relinked files a couple of times and now I reimport all media just to be sure.  I'll see if it works.  In addition - trash of pref or something?

  What would you say to build libraries or something.  BTW, re-import is complete and it has not helped.

  Figured it out.  Once more, I learned that you can not do your support who come looking for you.  If you move projects and libraries around the drive to the drive, it may re - import media.  Remember those pesky missing radar alerts?  Re-Binder alone was not the problem.  You know you have a problem, when you leave FCPX and then re - login.  The problem files are going to be watching you.  Re-IMPORT media - then WAIT for it to import!  Don't rush - 9 order and look at the files to import.  Once the import is complete - all right.  Export and share to your heart's content!

• Unable to choose 'clear history' - it is greyed out and unselectable

  I can't select 'clear history' - it is greyed out and unselectable on my laptop. Only, it happens on my laptop, but shows my story for many months in the past and includes the history both of my desktops, which is supposed to be cleared frequently.
