Radio flash buttons do not work in Internet Explorer, they do not work in FF

I read a recent post of amillionpiece re problems IE with Flash and follow his advice to remove the loop and Autoplay in DW Properties, but it effectively prevented this film to run at all
I designed an interactive guide (parametric calculator) that requires pushing the buttons in Flash swf video. IE does not work and prevents the film to run. It works fine in FF.
You must click on the 'PRICE' button on the middle of this page: http://www.mundi.com/auto.html to go to the swf. IE sometimes allows only 1 button to push. You must push each of them in a row to be able to view prices via the button "Check price" at the bottom right.
Wonder what is the solution. Thank you.

They actually sell you a car with tires already fixed...

  • Radio Flash buttons are confused in CS4

Hello, I'm having something very frustrating that I tried to fix it for a day.

I downloaded the trial version of CS4 and installed updates.

I create a survey. I currently have 4 keyframes.  The first keyframe is a welcome screen, 2nd keyframe is the first question with radio buttons, 3rd key frame's second question with radio buttons and 4th keyframe is the 3rd question with radio buttons.

I have 3 layers, the first layer is the layer of actionscript for my code

2nd layer is the survey questions,

3rd layer is static for the background

in any case, the problem is I have a few set out radio buttons, but when I run the flash file on my fourth keyframe and arrive at the 4th picture-key, option buttons are all in a random position on the screen and a button randomly is selected (in the Inspector of the components that I have none as default buttons to be selected). Radio buttons are not anywhere in the position that I have placed in the editor.

I tried to remove the 4th key frame, matched the image 3 key (which looked and worked well).  The replica of the third keyframe has the same problem, the radio buttons are all arranged in random places.  I tried to place other components, and they all seem to be very well and work properly, only radio buttons are confused.

I then tried to create a new project, he again from the beginning, and exactly on the fourth picture-key, I again had the same problem.

I installed the trial on another computer and had the same problem on this computer.

Anyone have an idea what is wrong?

I can send a link to the FLA, if wanted

I'm a complete newbie to Flash and maybe I am doing something stupid, or maybe a limitation to the test, but no idea and it's extremely frustrating.

    Thank you.

I edited the file put a keyframe between the questions and adjusted to take into account that the code of the button.  I copied the 2nd framework to the end, just so that I knew that I had a body of law.  When I left a whole he moved things around and left selected.  After their separation, she played very well.  The file is available via: http://www.nedwebs.com/Flash/survey_cs3.fla

Flash live things upwards and transfers of properties from the previous image to another when you have the same objects in adjacent images... often the name, even if you rename and apparently, in your case, the position and the property selected.  This will be your best bet probbably be to keep things separate.

  • Flash Player will NOT work in 8.1 Windows useless

I'm now regretting upgrading to Windows 8.1 Flash Player will (even after following ALL the recommended fixes on the forums) does NOT work in Windows 8.1 it is now clear that there is no official reason - fix if there is, Microsoft would put an update which should fix the problem. As a result, we end up with a bunch of patched-together patches unofficial "maybe it works" - neither works.

As for many others with this problem, I have Windows 8.1, 64 bit system with IE 11. Yes, I have the latest version of the flash player installed. Yes, I see the bouncing ball or whatever the hell it is in the gray box... or clouds moving in the other box. Yes, Shockwave active in Manage Add-ons. Yes, the ActiveX filtering is not verified in respect of the security. I went through this list so many times, that my head is spinning. The most annoying part when I 'test' to see if the latest version of Flash is installed (sigh, of course, it is) this is the message: "you are not running IE in Windows 8" good duuhhh.» Of course I'm not. I just upgraded to your platform 8.1 stupid.

If someone is asleep at the switch from Microsoft? They roll 8.1 and screw everyone who installs it when it does not work with Flash? Shouldn't they tested this first? Why this problem has not been fixed yet? It is obvious that I'm not the only one who is frustrated beyond the point of view of white to this incompetence.

Anyone know if there is a fix coming out of this outrageous mistake? Or will just sit us and twiddle thumbs as the gang at Microsoft?

Flash Player is actually integrated in Internet Explorer on Windows 8 and 8.1.  There is nothing for you to download or install it from Adobe.

After the description of the problem, looks like you're going to a Web site and send a message that Flash Player is not found.

On most sites, there is JavaScript that determines which version of your browser and Flash are installed, so that it can determine what content to show you.  In Internet Explorer 11, Microsoft has changed the string that identifies Internet Explorer for these scripts, and it is very likely that the Web site you are visiting needs to make adjustments to account for the change.  There will probably be a chaotic transition period, as web properties major pointed out the problem and fix it.

Meanwhile, Mike's suggestions are good.  Use Compatibility Mode or another browser.  You can also contact the website (especially if they have a small shop) to make them aware of the problem.  You are on the end at the beginning of the adoption curve, and they may need up to a leader.

    Thank you!

    Hello

From Windows 8, Microsoft integrates Flash Player in Internet Explorer and all updates are distributed by Microsoft, no Adobe.

In addition to checking that Flash Player is enabled, please ensure that the ActiveX filtering is disabled, see difficulty ActiveX in Flash Player in Internet Explorer issues.

Today is patch Tuesday, which means that Microsoft will come out all sorts of updates, including an update to Flash Player for IE.  I don't know when they're going to live, because the update has not yet posted to Microsoft Security Advisory 2755801.  You can check this page later today, or run Windows Update later today or tomorrow to install updates.
