Ragged characters in windows live mail

I run windows live mail into a computer with windows vista sp2 from base. The icons and the interface characters appear unbalanced (worn). Is there a solution for this problem? I downloaded the program 3 days ago, so it should be the latest version.

  • password is incorrect, and I can remember. Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC92

    Original title:

    Do not know my password

I have currently Windows Live Mail downloaded on my computer and my emails cannot send or receive because my password is incorrect, and I can remember because I did almost a decade ago. I was wondering if there was a way to reset. I tried the https://account.live.com/resetpassword.aspx, but this page is only for accounts that work through windows online. Is the message it displays when I try and send/receive mail: cannot send or receive messages for the Optonline account (auto1). An incorrect password was entered. The next time that you send or receive messages, you will be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

    Server error: 0x800CCC90
    Server response:-ERR [AUTH] failed authentication
    Server: 'mail.optonline.net.
Windows Live Mail error ID: 0x800CCC92
    Protocol: POP3
    Port: 110
    Secure (SSL): No.

I was wondering if there is anything I can do to solve this problem. I don't know how many characters my password isn't all passwords I use doesn't seem to work.

    Thank you

Visit http://optonline.net and use the options here to reset your password. Once you have a new password, work you give access to your mailbox online, right-click on the account name in the Windows Live Mail Folders pane and select Properties. Enter the new password in the servers tab.

Dial a new test message with a single subject, then send it to yourself. Post a new message in your response.

  • Windows Live mail tells me I have an invalid password when trying to open the e-mail message in the client.

I can sign into my e-mail account of Bellsouth/yahoo online through my browser, but Windows Live mail tells me I have an invalid password when trying to open the email in the WLM client.  I have rebuilt Windows Essentials, I made sure that the password is shorter than 16 characters.

Windows Live Mail has worked until I suspected my e-mail account had been hacked, and I changed my password. Twice (on the 3 dozen attempts) WLM has requested a password, I entered into it, and it downloaded my email on the server, and then gave me an error saying that it could not complete the task and would not send/receive once again - it just keeps asking for the password.
    What Miss me?

  • Error loading of Windows Live Mail 2011 - [?] Destroy@CDUIDialog@MAEXXZ] [UXCore.dll]

At the opening of Windows Live Mail 2011 I get the following message - "the procedure entry point? Destroy@CDUIDialog@@MAEXXZ is not found in the library of dynamic links UXCore.dll.

The title of the error dialog box is - "wlsettings.exe - Entry Point not found".

I'd appreciate any help to eliminate this problem.

I had EXACTLT the same problem and found this fix.  It worked the first time I had a double UXCore.dll

THE ANSWER TO: "Windows Live settings [WLSettings.exe] has stopped working"IS HERE:

...... It is attached as a response to the post above because to include with that would have meant exceeding the maximum number of 3000 characters, and I could not edit the first post in the thread down... He did not sense!

    The Solution to this problem was provided by the Forum Member! Firedog and figure in his answer here extracted in its entirety since the Hotmail Forum and the thread above;

but of course you should re-post with the material.

In the meantime, try this: in Windows Explorer (Windows key + E) navigate to %programfiles%\Windows Live. Once there, conducting a search for uxcore.dll. There may be several copies in different folders. Because you are using a different operating system to me, I can't be specific, but you should have only one copy, with version 15.4.3502.0922 No. in the Windows Live\Shared folder. Rename all others - for example in the file install - uxcore.old, reboot and test.

  • In Windows Live Mail 2011, when I click to send a message or reply to a message, the original message is not included in the message.

I installed Windows Live Mail 2011 as part of a clean Windows 7 Pro 64 - bit installation. I recently discovered that, when replying to emails and in the transmission of emails, only the header of the message appears in my verse forward or reply. The body of the original e-mail does not appear. I checked the security settings and made sure that the "Include message in reply" option (options |) The Send tab) is checked.

Help, please! It shouldn't be so complicated.

Well I solved just my own question. In the attempts to define my fonts so that no e-mail messages look attractive (i.e. not Times New Roman), I went to the Options | Play button and clicked on 'Fonts', the proportional and lockable fonts to width and size of characters and encoding ('User Defined'). I then proceeded to the "International settings" button and check the box for "Use of the a default encoding for all incoming messages". Check this box what's causing the WLM 2011 to no longer aim for the original in the responses and forward message.

Is good, I guess, to do too much tinkering. Hope this helps someone in the future.

  • How to import my AddressBook and emails from Windows Live Mail 2011 in Thunderbird?

My new ISP had problems with Windows Live Mail so I'm now using Thunderbird for the first time. I've never used T-bird before so keep the simple instructions.

A picture is worth a thousand words, they say.

Apparently, the choices are slightly different after 5 years. "Import all messages from a directory '

In the toolbar, click address book. On the Tools menu, select Import and specify the file type.

I'm talking about opening a CSV file in a spreadsheet hereto clean up the columns and positions because it is much easier to use tools of import from Thunderbird to make. (they crack on this task)

  • Cannot create the e-mail account, but can with windows live mail

I have a thunderbird e-mail account will not create just I have contacted my ISP and I have all the correct settings, but every time that I get a message saying. Thunderbird could not find your e-mail account settings. but on my other email account with thunderbird Charter set up very well. but when I used the settings to configure the email account in windows live mail, it worked. My ISP told me that this is a problem with thrunderbird. can someone help me please.

Not a problem with Thunderbird, a problem with your anti-virus crashes Thunderbird to access internet.

the configuration of the Charter is here https://autoconfig.thunderbird.net/v1.1/charter.net

Thunderbird can not find, if it cannot connect.

Check the firewall component of the anri virus and make sure Thunderbird has full access to the internet.

  • How to import Windows Live Mail storage folders in Thunderbird

I am trying to import the .eml files that I have in storage files in WLM in Thunderbird. Of the help section on Thunderbird:

Windows Mail (.eml files) in Thunderbird import is enabled by ImportExport third-party add-on tools. Download and install this add-on to transfer messages from Windows Live Mail into Thunderbird.

However, import Tools is an as file and my computer (Windows 7) cannot open it. Although I found an online program that convert into something readable, my software virus identified the program as malware. Does anyone know a way to safely convert a file as something Windows can recognize and run?

Or y at - it another way to get this add-on to run?

You should have a new tab under tools at the bottom that says "import/export - tools".
You can watch modules / Modules to see if
ImportExportTools is installed and activated. The choice of installation it is probably fine as it is.
