  • Satellite A660-184 RAM extension

Hello from Savoy! (I'm not American, I speak very well English)

I have a problem with the TOSHIBA Satellite A660-184.
The RAM was first 4 GB (2 * 2 GB).
I bought new RAM: 2 * 4 GB (right model, the right frequency).
On the TOSHIBA Web page for this computer, it is written: 8 GB maximum.

-When I install 2 GB on lower housing and 4 go on the top slot: the computer works well.
-When I install 4 GB on lower housing and 2 go on the top slot: cannot run.
-When I install 4 go on both the upper and lower slots: cannot run.

The version of the BIOS is 2.30 (it seems to be the last).

Does anyone have a solution for this problem?
    Thank you

    Jerome.

You are right about upgrading RAM. Your laptop can be upgraded up to 8 GB.

Can you please tell us what brand did you buy? Some cheap or modules of memory RAM of high quality offered by Kingston or Samsung?

  • RAM extension for pavilion dv7 6c50eb

    Hello!

I have a pavilion dv7 6c50eb. I plan to expand my ram of 2 x 4 to 2 x 8. I have search on this forum, but does not seem to find an answer to my particular case.

    Thank you in advance!

    Hello:

Here is the link to the service manual for your PC.

    http://h10032.www1.HP.com/CTG/manual/c03099448.PDF

Given that the product specifications indicate that your PC has the i-core processors Intel 2nd generation, you can indeed install 2 x 8 GB of memory (16 GB ttl).

See Chapter 1, page 5 for the memory info.

You must make sure that you are buying 2 x 8 GB PC3-10600 (1333 MHz) memory.

I'm going with the G.Skill but feel free to all desired PC3-10600 memory.

  • RAM extension Aspire X 1470-UR26

Recently bought an Aspire X 1470 - UR26. The words on the installed RAM stick say "HDDR3-1600. I can find the DDR3-1600 on the market. Or is it a special DDR3? In addition, there are banks that are color coded. In which we add an another 4 GB stick? Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi gallicbear!

Install the scannerof Crucial. This will scan your machine & advise on the correct RAM for it. The link is to the site of the United Kingdom, but you can put your country by clicking on the flag in the upper right.

The slots are chromocodes because they are "dual channel". If you have a stick in a single color, the second stick must also go in this color.

    I hope this helps!

  • C55-A-1MW satellite does not start with the new RAM inserted

    Hey.

I hope to find someone who can help me... I bought ram memories and tried 4 different memories in my C55 A 1MW Satellite. But each card RAM I have insert makes the computer cannot start... It lights just to stop again.

Is there a compatibility issue or anything like that? I used 2 different aData Ram extensions cars, 1 1 and 4 GB 2 GB. the 4 GB card was 1333 mhz and was 2 GB 1600 mhz card. and I tried 2 corsair 4 GB 1600 mhz different cards.

Is this something that makes only able to expand RAM with Toshibas own memories or is the second cardslot for broken RAM memory?

As I see you use RAM modules with different specifications. Your problem is certainly of RAM compatibility and you must use the RAM modules with the same specifications.
According to specification of laptop there are 4 slots of memory and laptop can handle up to 32 GB of RAM.

    The compatible RAM modules are:
    4 GB DDR3L-1600-PA5104U-1M4G
    8 GB DDR3L-1600-PA5104U-1M8G

Of course, you can use modules from other manufacturers, but please do not use some cheap products. I can recommend the use of Kingston memory modules.

  • R51 2887 ql7 RAM Upgradation

    Hello

I'm new to this community. I bought laptop IBM R51 2887 ql7 3 years back. Now, I want to upgrade the RAM as possible max. Currently, it has only 256 MB of RAM. Can you get it someone pls let me know...

    1. to extend the RAM is possible (1 GB or 2 GB)?

    2 DDR1 or DDR2 will fit?

I consulted with local shops, but they said that only 512 MB RAM extension is possible. It supports more than that. Is this true?

    Thank you

    Samir

    Hi, Samir

AFAIK, R51 supports ddr1 ram, slot 1 in a max

    Best regards

You can see that there is no "http2-port" or "http2 Protocol" in xdbconfig.xml.

    Then, I tried this:
    SQL > DECLARE

    * InsertXMLbefore (DBMS_XDB.cfg_get (SELECT) 4, *)

    * 12 so that others then *.
    * 13 dbms_output.put_line (sqlerrm); *

    * 15 *.
    ORA-30937: no schema definition for "http2-port" ("##local" namespace) in parent ' / xdbconfig/sysconfig/protocolconfig/httpconfig.

It seems that I can not insert "http2-port" in xdbconfig.xml either.

    I don't know why...

    Please help, thanks in advance!

  • Satellite U400 - problem with the new extension to 2 GB RAM

    Hello

    My satellite U400 have 3 GB of DDR2 memory. (2 GB DDR Kingston PC5300 + 1 go)
    I tried to put 4 GB of RAM (2 x 2 GB DDR2 PC5300 Kingston).
But I have the blue screen on startup of windows.

Each extension RAM works very well (try with 2 GB of RAM only).

Windows 7-64 bit / CRUCIAL M4 256 GB HARD drive.

    Do you have any solutions?

    Thank you.

Can you please post exact model laptop (U400-xxx)?
I just want to which Kingston modules are 100% compatible with your laptop satellite.

I can only imagine that you are using incompatible Ram. All compatible modules will be recognized correctly and you will be able to boot your laptop as usual.

    Hello

your machine can be upgraded to a maximum capacity of 2 GB main memory, which means:

to extend the memory to the limit of what the machine is capable of, you have to put 2 x 1 GB DDR2-S0DIMM modules with a frequency of 533 Mhz into the two slots of your machine.

I propose the following brands: Toshiba, Kingston, OCZ

  • Question about the extension of RAM on Satellite M30X 163

    Hello

I can install it as an extension of RAM on my laptop model?
I have now 2 x 256 MB (default factory equipment).
I'd appreciate any help about my question:
Type, frequency, the maximum capacity for each of the 2 slots?

    Thank you very much.

    Hello

According to the specification for laptop, your laptop can handle with 2 GB of RAM and 1 GB of RAM followed the part number - PA3313U-1M1G. Put this number in Google and you will find info on this compatible RAM module.

To avoid compatibility problems, I recommend using the compatible RAM only.

  • Use of the bike to connect Chrome Extension/RAM

    Hello

I have 2 questions. The first concerns the extension of the Moto connect Chrome. The application on my 1st gen x bike allowed me to receive and send TEXT messages from my laptop or a chromebook through the extension to chrome. When I open the app on my new edition Pure, there is no option for me to add the chrome extension. I even tried to extract my 1 x apk file and install it on my EP with no luck. I use version is 2.06.16 - pc-249. This is the version most up-to-date according to the store to play as well. I really like this feature of my x 1 and would like to know how to operate on my PE.

Another question, I'll have, it's that the EP seems to use a lot of RAM to the system. The system uses up about 1 GB of RAM after a fresh reboot. It seems extremely high, is almost three times what my Nexus 7 Tablet and my x 1 bike use, 5.1.1 and 5.1, respectively. What could this go? Or is it quite normal for phones equipped with 64-bit processors use a ton of RAM to the system?

    Thank you!

    Andy

  • Upgrading ram on extensa ex 2520

Just bought a laptop Extensa EX2520, he said that the ram is expandable on site, however there is no door of ram to do. Does anyone know how to change the ram?

    Hello

Exactly, follow this procedure to disassemble the bottom of your laptop (similar laptop). You will find two memory slots near the CMOS battery.

    Procedure:

  • Extension of RAM in A1278

I'm continues mac pro end of 2011, I have 8 GB of ram installed (1333 mhz), now I have another 4 GB 1600 mhz ram. Is it possible to add the two ram in my mac?

This model number is a MacBook Pro, which has 2 slots for RAM. If you have 8 GB installed using 2 slots, you can not add more.
