Random characters/icons display in the address bar

I just upgraded to FireFox 29.0.1 and now there are times where a new tab opens and the address bar is twice as large, the URL is not visible and random icons or characters appear.

    Try to uncheck the box next to 'use acceleration hardware when available' in the Options. Worked for me!

    Normally, I expect only the text placeholder to appear if the address bar has been selected and you press on delete or BACKSPACE to remove the URL of the page. In this case, you can press ESC to restore it. The next time you see this, you can try pressing ESC?

    There are a few different keys that can move focus to the address instead of the page bar, in which case it is a keyboard problem. These include:

Mozilla says that making the most customizable browser, yet it is now clearly LESS customizable (and I don't mean only the button reload.)     You can get your Web host to do this for you if you are not sure of what you are doing.

    Do a clean reinstall and remove the Firefox program before (re) install a new copy of the current version of Firefox.

    If possible to uninstall your current version of Firefox to clean the Windows registry and settings in the security software.

    • Do NOT remove the "personal data" when you uninstall your current version of Firefox, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data such as bookmarks and passwords including data profiles created by other versions of Firefox.

    From last 3-4 days I get some strange Chinese characters on top of the title bar or open tabs. They can not be selected by mouse and arrow sometimes (like enter key) is indicated on each tab.
    It's random, means that there is not any special condition when they appear.
