  I have a prroblem of 2 days.

  my personal files changed for the file system and hidden type and disappeared from the D partition and then uncheck the option that is (Hide protected files (recommended) operating system) files have appeared, but still hidden and system files of type.

  Here are the steps that you can follow.

  1 change the location of installation using Creative Cloud Desktop App, go to preference > creative cloud > Apps and change the installation location.

  2. delete the folder '%Temp%' and restart the process.

  NOTE: Application is downloaded to the default location, we can only customize the installation location using creative cloud app in this case.

• How to create random file names

  I have a folder containing 600 JPEG files. I want to replace the current file with those randomly generated names. So instead of files names IMG_11.jpg, IMG_12.jpg, IMG_13.jpg, I don't want to see something like 342.jpg, 8.jpg 107.jpg.

  Could someone smart give me a code that would do this. I want to change ONLY the names of files in this folder.

  I want to create a labview function that expects on notification of a change in a file, specifically a new file to create. I try to use the FindFirstChangeNotification referenced here; http://msdn.Microsoft.com/en-us/library/Windows/desktop/aa364417(v=vs.85).aspx

  I have attached the .vi I have a problem with where to get the handle to the notification. It returns the error 1097 when it is run. Any ideas?

  Our group has often using VI server to control the other executables LabVIEW for automated tests. We expect the VI to be within the executable to control via Server executable VI screws and screws we need to construct the full path.

  For LabVIEW 2009 user.lib screw the path used to appear as:

  For LabVIEW 2010 user.lib screw (on Win XP AND Win 7) the path appears now as:

  Paths in applications applications are based on the hierarchy of the source of VI. For files in the directory of LabVIEW, the LabVIEW directory real name was used in 2009. It was ok except when creating relies on platforms or on multiple computers where LabVIEW has been installed to a different location. So for 2010, a single, constant directory name has been chosen.

• Text size in compiled exe - required tutorial files changes!

  Hello, can someone explain how to manage the text sizes in control and list boxes to make them predictable in the final application?

  I just got very frustrated when an exe compiled labview which works very well on a test PC for a few days has completely changed the size of most of the elements of text when I moved it to the first production machine!

  It started with my upgrade of the development system of LV2015 to LV2015sp1 and at the same time change for a new laptop computer. All the text was larger in the front panels.

  I got little support help to understand this, but many had to be corrected manually. I learned not to use the windows 7 Zoom to 125% or 150% for example.

  Exe, I built and run on the development computer looked like enough to when it is run within the development system.

  But when I installed the software on a PC to test all the text was smaller... I had to move all the controls again and enlarge the text to make it visible.

  And now finally when I took the exe file of work of the test system for the production system the text was bigger still...

  There is clearly something I don't understand here, I hope someone can enlighten me! I mostly let the police stay on "make application 15 p" or whatever the standard configuration is, simply by changing the size if necessary.

  Versions

  All systems are Windows 7 Swedish, all running in 64-bit windows.

  LabVIEW is 32-bit 2015sp1 (tried on the old system of dev with 2015 32 bit - the same result)

  Runtime is LV2015f1 and f3 as I have found no 2015SP1 TERM.

  Set current font to something fixed (standard windows fonts 7 is Segoe UI, in XP it was arial). Do not use any system, dialog, fonts of the application on the façade. Most controls use the application fonts. So Ctrl + A-> set fixed font.  The internal components of the controls (chart axis fonts, type defs) sometimes need to be adjusted manually.

  Check vi has no checkmarks on properties vi-> window size page (keep the proportions for different display resolutions, on the scale as window resizes).
