Random saturation errors (-1073807252)

I have a serial port simple data capture program that worked very well for weeks literally on an old laptop.

Now I installed it on a much faster desktop PC and I get random crashes due to overruns of data series (-1073807252)

It's not as if this is more high speed communications. (don't order any rate 9600 baud 8n1)

I can't figure out how to set the buffer size of the series. Bare with me here that I jumped 5.11 LabVIEW LabVIEW 8.x (now using Labview 8.51).

In the old Labview serial port configuration vi there is a setting for the serial port buffer size. Where is this setting in Labview 8.5.1?

Use VISA size buffer that is located on the Instrument i/o > VISA > advanced > range of specific Bus.

Your text to the file could be rewritten so that you do not make a file open and close to each call. Looks like you want a new file every day. At each iteration, you use the string concantanate and over time, the chain will become very large and execution of the VI will slow down a bit. You can add code to limit the size of the string.

I did not explicitly define the IO buffer size front and applies default 4096. I've now increased the size of the buffer using the size of the buffer IO set VISA sub - VI and it solved my problem. Not sure why I have not encountered this problem before.

3 event errors are the same.  By chance I hear that the first accident was while I was surfing the net with IE8, it was the only common thing and 1 single tab - on yahoo.com.  The next crash I played Stalker through Steam.  And finally, when I had only Firefox running with 1 Tablet and I was not even touching the keyboard or the touchpad, I just read the screen, lol.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I thought I found the problem, but it always stops at random.  I called HP and they said that it's probably the motherboard.  I think that's their standard answer if they have no idea what is the problem.  In any case, I have to send it back, I got it for Christmas.  Now I have to use my old laptop for several days.  I am not happy that nobody cares, have a good day.

I realized what it was.  I normally go through, clean the fans and inside on a regular basis.  The fan that is attached to the Central Unit worked.  However, between the processor and the Fan Heatsink was extremely dirty.  It was packed with dirt.  To see this, you need to remove the fan.  He carefully cleaned, and all is well.

Thanks for the info indicating that windows will usually give you an exception error, and it is probably a hardware problem, dirty, etc.  It's exactly what it was.  I just could not see the dirt without removing the fan.

    Hi Jaaz76

    Method 1:

You can perform a security analysis and check if there are viruses or malware present. Check out the link below to run the scan and check if this helps-

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

    Method 2:

Also I suggest you perform a SFC scan and check. To Perform a Scan SFC -

    a. click Start, click programs, on Accessoriesprincipally made, right click guestand then click run as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or a confirmation, type the password, or click allow

    b. type the following command and press ENTER:

    sfc/scannow

    c. a message indicating that "the system scan will start. Be patient, because the analysis may take some time

    d. If all files require a SFC replace will replace them. Hopefully though you should, after the analysis, see the following message "Windows resource protection not found any breach of integrity.

    e. once the scan is finished, close the command prompt window, restart the computer and check.

Check the link below for further guidance on scan SFC - mentioned

The problem is with an older driver a new loading equipment when you first load the operating system from Microsoft. Shame on you, Microsoft.  6 weeks to understand it and it is CLEARLY without Microsoft. Sorry, but none of the NDA here.
Its a simple problem, yet almost impossible to find. Catalyst install Manager - ATI HDMI Audio Device will add an Audio device rather than to replace the device driver Audio HDMI Microsoft load the OS installation stage. Or the pilot is ignored all together because Microsoft has already loaded a driver installation for this device.
    [Clean Install FIX]
When you install the ATI Catalyst 10.6, use the custom installation and exclude the HDMI Audio by unchecking the box next to the HDMI Audio. Pilots still end upward in the ATI Catalyst install directory if you can note the ATI installation path. The problem is that ATI will add an HDMI high definition audio device, DOES not replace the Windows device already loaded. Or may not charge a second device. Whatever it is, it uses the Microsoft device driver.
Updated driver software with the driver - Microsoft high definition Audio Device driver ATI manually following the instructions below.
    [Windows OS already loaded FIX]
    -Device Manager-
Manage driver updated using computer-> right click-> appliances-> sound-> right click HDMI high definition Audio Device-> update driver and browse to the directory of ATI (check include subfolders).
Also noticed the BIOS default settings cause problems of NB and DRAM. Overclocked to mount pressure on the system. Even if I adjusted the settings of the BIOS, I have always many BSOD until I updated the driver for high definition Audio Device from Microsoft with the ATI driver.

    ===========================================

    The material is highly suspect!

Since you reformatted and reloaded Windows this indicates that the problem is either material or a
very basic pilot who has been reloaded - video/display, network/WiFi, sound, possibly 3rd party
mouse or keyboard, BIOS, chipset and other low level drivers.

This error is usually a driver problem and display adapter (video) driver is the most suspicious if she
may be others. Antivirus/antispyware/security programs, equipment (heat) and major software problems
can also cause the error. When you get to the section of the driver to use the Troubleshoot utility my generic
methods in the next message and then return to the if necessary troubleshooting tool.

Have you recently added hardware or drivers updated? Don't forget to look in Control Panel - Windows
Updates to see if all drivers have been updated it. Other donor opportunities include the antivirus/anti-
    spyware/security programs.

When you get to the pilot and sections of the memory of the troubleshooter check the following message to
update drivers and memory test and then return to the troubleshooter if necessary.

    ------------------------------------------------

Even if you have some of these here tried a fairly complete convenience store just in case.

    BCCode: 7F 0x0000007E

    Cause

SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED bug control is a very common bug control. To interpret it, you must identify which exception has been generated.

    Common exception codes are:

    • 0xc0000005: STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION indicates a memory access violation has occurred.

For a complete list of exception codes, see the Ntstatus.h file located in the directoryInc. of the Microsoft Windows Driver Kit (WDK).

    Solve the problem

If you do not have to debug this problem, you must use certain basic troubleshooting techniques.

    • Make sure you have enough disk space.
    • If a driver is identified in the bug check message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for driver updates.
    • Try changing video cards.
    • Check with your hardware vendor for updates to the BIOS.
    • Disable the BIOS memory options such as implementing caching or shading.

If you plan to debug this problem, you may find it difficult to get a stack trace. Parameter 2 (the address of the exception) should identify the driver or function that caused the problem.

If exception code 0 x 80000003 occurs, a hard-coded breakpoint or assertion was hit, but the system was launched with the/nodebug. switch. This problem should occur infrequently. If it occurs repeatedly, make sure that a kernel debugger is connected and the system is booted with theSwitch/DEBUG .

In case of exception code 0 x 80000002, the trap frame provides additional information.

If you do not know the specific cause of the exception, consider the following questions:

    • Hardware incompatibility. Ensure that any new hardware that is installed is listed in the list of the products tested Microsoft Windows market.
    • Service driver or defective peripheral system. A chauffeur service or defective peripheral system could be responsible for this error. The hardware problems, such as BIOS incompatibilities, conflicts of memory and IRQ conflicts can also generate this error.

If a driver is listed by name in the bug check message, disable or remove that driver. Disable or remove drivers or services that have been recently added. If the error occurs during the startup sequence and the system partition is formatted with the NTFS file system, you may be able to use Safe Mode to rename or to delete the faulty driver. If the driver is used as part of the start-up procedure of the system Safe Mode, you must start the computer by using the Recovery Console to access the file.

If the problem is associated with Win32k.sys, the source of the error may be a third-party remote control program. If this software is installed, you can remove the service by starting the computer by using the recovery and then Console by removing the offending system service file.

Check the system log in Event Viewer for additional error messages that might help identify the device or driver responsible for control of bug 0x7E.

You can also disable memory cache BIOS may try to resolve the error. You must also run the diagnostics of material, especially the scanner memory, which provides the manufacturer of the system. For more information about these procedures, see the manual of your computer.

The error that generates this message may occur after the first reboot during Windows Setup, or after installation is complete. A possible cause of the error is lack of disk space for installation and the system BIOS incompatibilities. For any problems during the installation of Windows that are associated with lack of disk space, reduce the number of files on the hard disk drive target. Search and delete temporary files that you do not have to have, files hidden Internet, application backup files and files saved.chk, which contain fragments of files on disk scans. Cause

There are generally three different causes for this bug check:

    1. A driver has deliberately or inadvertently modified kernel of criticism or data code. Microsoft Windows Server 2003 with Service Pack 1 (SP1) and later versions of Windows for computers x 64 do not allow the kernel to be debugged, except through authorized hot patches from Microsoft. For more information, see policy patch for x 64 systems.

    2. A developer tried to set a normal kernel breakpoint using a kernel debugger which was not attached when the system is started. Normal breakpoints (bp) can be defined only if the debugger is attached to the start time. Processor breakpoints (ba) can be defined at any time.

    3. A physical corruption has occurred. For example, the kernel code or data could are stored in memory has failed.

  • HP DesignJet Z5400: Z5400 79:04 error

After downloading the firmware update CH_05_00_00.5 one a few weeks ago, my user started to have a system error code 79:04 when printing.

After research, I saw that one of the improvements for CH_04_00_00.9 update was to fix the random system error code 79:04 when printing.

I have restored the firmware to the previous version, CH_04_00_00.9, and he has no problem.

If anyone has experienced this?  Find out what is the cause?  How to fix?

If the old version works, then use it.  Until they come out with another update there is probably nothing you can do.  If you went to another question they maybe you can contact hp customer service, but they may charge for support.

  • "error 31000" in the notifications tab

I want to start a discussion to see how many people have this rare error and to get an overview on how this is all. Since I got my phone in early January, I had to randomly "code error" (I don't know what else to call it) in my tab notifications from the drop-down list. Where it is supposed to say "US Cellular" in the middle of the screen, it is sometimes replaced by "31000". I don't know what is the cause and whenever I think to take a screenshot, it won't be there. I did find something different wrong with the phone, so I don't think it's to do anything either. I went to customer Service in my hometown and it's only the second time that they had seen that happen (which is quite rare because I live in Tulsa, and they have an abundance of US Cellular customers). They told me it was a very rare software error, do not worry about this, and it will be hopefully be fixed in the next update. I was wondering if the Mods had knowledge of this 'mistake' and if it has been resolved. I also wanted to see if anyone else has had this error. Thank you in advance!

I saw something very similar. I thought it would be the id of the cell tower that I was connected. An application called net monitor will show you this id

31000005 is us cell operator id

  • Error when executing VISA Serial Port reader

    Hi all

I work with some lithium-ion batteries that gives every second through a RS-232 codes. With these codes you can get the battery voltage and other things.

To read these values and store them in excellent I created a labview program using the player of VISA. I tried to run the program several times and it worked well at the start.

After that, I also called in a function of data acquisition to read other values from a module NI 9206. When this change was made to the program the problem arose. I am able to get values and run the program for a while. But in a few minutes, the program gives an error saying "Error - 1073807252 occurred at VISA read in reader.vi series" (I have attached a screenshot for this).

If anyone knows why this problem occurs? Any suggestions would be helpful. I'm new to read VISA and do not know why this error occurs.

    I have attached to VI.

    1. with the data acquisition function
    2. without the data acquisition function

    Thank you
    Piraux

As the message says you do not read the serial data fast enough. As you say, the device sends data every second. If you do not read these data at least this fast, possibly the series buffer will be overflow because of no bytes will be replaced. Your acquisition loop is guaranteed to be more than a second. The DAQ Assistant takes a second to get the data because it is the time that you specified. Reduce the number of samples or place the DAQ Assistant, in a separate loop.

p.s. Please clean up the code a bit. Get rid of all these statements of cases who do nothing and do not use local variables - particularly the response string series.

  • Vista 64 just keeps freezing randomly

I bought a new laptop and it came with pre installed Vista Home premium 64-bit with SP1. The information system is the chipset Intel GM45, integrated graphics, 4 GB of RAM and 320 hard drive.

The system hangs at random without error regardless of what I show. I have to do a hard reboot. The system event viewer under computer at the time of the event management has warnings and reads like

"Windows Servicing identified that package KB958483 (Update)" shall not apply to this system ".

and some following effects it reads as

"Windows Servicing started a package KB958483 (Update) State of Resolved (Resolved) change process Staged (Staged)"

Is that something really has to do with the problem I am facing freezing and if so what is the solution for the same?

can someone help an old age pensioner please.

    Hello

    1. the question occurred once more after you've done a system restore?

    2. What is the full and exact error message?

If you still get a blue error screen, I suggest you refer to the articles and check if that helps:
