Ratio of peak and of Swap Image behavior

Alrite guys, iv been picking up my skills in web design by developing my own site and as part of the design of this iv a gallery with thumbnails encircling a central image. now iv used the swap image behavior to change the thumbnail to the large central peak, unfortunately the pictures are that extends up to the limit of the bracket, is their anyway to fix the ratio first photos use so they come in their original size, rather than lie beyond the original?

See you soon

Dark

You can do this in many ways of means-

1. do not use swap image: use show/hide layer. Having the acting
image in a hidden layer that appears when the trigger is "tickled". Using
This method, you can have images that are any size.

2 use the swap image, but delete the dimensions of the original image tag,
for example, change it.

on this subject.

Now when replace you in your offsize image, there is no predefined to size
it to change. Be aware that this method may well result in an unpleasant
and undesirable 'redevelopment' of your page layout as it adapts to your
the new image dimensions.

3 filling the small image with background color on all sides while
all images * are the same size *.

4 use a behavior of SetTextofLayer to change the reference to the image in a layer
positioned so that it will show the magnification desired in the right
place.

5 use the PVII ShowPic extension - http://www.projectseven.com/

Make your choice...

Simple rollover is for 2-State bearings only, where the image being exchanged is exactly in the same place and the same size as the 'up' or 'normal' image.

  • Rollover and Swap Image

Another step forward and two steps back...

I have a rollover in a table cell image. It works very well: white, reversal of deployment yellow to white.

I then added a behavior Swap Image to the same rollover image. The swap image works fine, but the rollover image returns to its original state (white) to decelerate. She remains in his State (yellow) overview.

Yes. It is difficult to do, but you must do-

DO NOT USE THE AUTOMATIC RESTORE option.

Apply the image TWICE switching behavior. For the first application, do the
Roll-in and swap out with an onmouseover event. For the second
application do make it back and exchange it with an onmouseout event.

  • Impossible to apply the behavior to an image - behaviors panel is dimmed

I have a photo gallery set up with thumbnails and a large image. In the past, it was easy to select the tile and add the behavior of the swap on the thumbnail image to have a big image change as you hovered over the tile. Now, if I select the thumbnail image, the behaviors panel is grayed out, not allowing me to apply the behavior. Help!

Code is clean. Good news - I got it to work. I uninstalled Dreamweaver, reinstalled, double checked the above suggestion of Nancy O and own the behaviors panel.

  • Swap image restore does not restore all images

I have implemented a simple bearing which permutes the two different images, following the instructions provided by Adobe. If I roll over an image, it replaces this image and a different image. This part works fine. But when I roll off the coast of the image, it restores only one that I have switched to the original, but not the secondary image. Here's the relevant code:

    If ((x = MM_findObj (a [i]))! = null) {document. MM_sr [j ++] = x; if(!x.oSrc) x.oSrc = x.src; x.SRC = a [i + 2] ;}

    }

It restores aboutus very well, but he's not restore the text.

    Any help would be appreciated!

I'm assuming that you would have affected the behaviors to swap an Image twice - once for the on the image to change and the second time to change the image of the top. This makes DW create 2 instances of mouseover and mouseout/mouseouthandler() code code is replaced by the 2nd change to your Swap Image.

The ideal way to do is to select your image of trigger that you want to activate SwapImage. Add the behavior > Swap Image > choose first a source of swap for 'about '. Still haven't click OK. Choose your 2nd image you want to edit - text, in our case. Select a swap for this source as well. Make sure preload images and restore on mouseout/mouseouthandler() are checked. Now, click OK.

    Your task must be completed.

I downloaded the correct version to the http://www.forwardfocus.in/sandbox/testmouseover for you to see.

One other quick thing, I wanted to tell you: I see that you used full slices to make your site. It is generally bad practices. Try not to cut your site completely, directly from Photoshop. Define your CSS and use HTML with individual items to complete your site.

  • Naming Convention in the window of Swap Image.

    Hello

I use behavior Swap Image and the dialogue window does not completely meaningless to me.  I called all my images and they are in my _images folder in the site folder.   On every image I imported, I assigned an alternative text.  Then why say 'unamed < img >' for my images?

How can I display their name?

    Thank you!

    Gary

When you say that you named yoru iamges, do you mean gave you the file names, or you select each image and then use the property inspector to assign a unique name in the name field?  It is the latter that is needed.

    Hope that helps.

  • Swap images in a cell when overs mouse other

I would like to Swap images in a cell when mouse overs another.

I have miniature cells on the left and a larger cell look one on the right, the largest image apears when mouse overs the representative for the thumb.

    Ash:

Using pure CSS, it is quite possible to make disjointed bearings. I just discovered an explanation with an example being very intriguing (but always very simple!). Take a look at: http://pmob.co.uk/pob/animated.htm and http://pmob.co.uk/pob/disjointed1.htm

Here's another explanation, using behaviors and thumbnails:
    1. Start with your optimized two-dimensional images: a thumbnail and a full size image.
    2. Make an APdiv (or another image "placement") and insert your image "at rest"... the image that will show when you aren't mousing over the thumbnails. You may not use an APdiv. Any image anywhere on the page can be "swapped" and in. Just look at the dimensions of the image and make sure that it is the way you want only it!
    3. Make sure that each image on the page is called, including the image "at rest."
    4. Activate the behaviors panel in the window menu.
    5. Select (click on) the first tile and tap 'more' in the Group (on the tag Inspector panel) behaviour. Choose "swap image".
    6. In the field at the top of the window to swap image, all images named will be listed. Click on the image which is your image "at rest." You say: DW to swap with one who so that you will only browse the image. Make sure you only ask the system to preload images and restore images on mouseout/mouseouthandler(). That's all there is to it!
    7. ATTENTION: If you move the page in the files of the site, your image sources tracks will not be updated automatically, and you will probably have to remove and re-apply the behaviors. I speak from experience!

  • Fit Gaussian Peak and non-linear curve Fit on small data differ from the PEAK of origin made

    Hi all

I'm developing a program in which I have to adjust the curve of Gauss on only 4 or 5 data points. When I use the Gaussian Ridge Fit or adjustment of the curve non-linear, it connects linearly all the points so that other editing software like origin's curve fitting of Gauss on the same set of data that I have attached two images is LabVIEW with Fit Gaussian of Peak and nonlinear adjustment and other is original.

    The data are

    1253.43713 329

    Interesting.

The initial default values assume all are NaN, which causes the LV calculate conjecture.  The default values for the parameter Bounds +/-Inf with the exception of the offset that are both zero. This, of course, forces the output zero offset.  It seems a strange fault, but they may have a good reason for it.

Change the limits of compensation to something else translates the output being offset ~ 215 and the Center moves to ~ 1053.  These correspond the original result to 5 significant digits.
