  I am writing an application that reads a RS232 device that sends data with a fewquency of 33 Hz. I'm querying data RS232 with a while loop that runs with a fewquency of 66Hz. In this while loop, I placed the attached .vi. My problem is that if my applications do a lot of other things at the same time the laggs asked strongly or crashes after a while (about one minute). However, when I remore the .vi attached the program works perfectly. This brings me to the conclusion that save the tables in a repository GOOP takes a long time (more than 15 ms) when the tables get large. Is there another way more optimized in order to save the data?

  Just off the top of my head:

  The channel dividing the part should not be a problem. Table manipulation is the usual suspect, tables that are based permanently on are slow to manage, they must reallocate memory more time to another. Do you know what size your table will ultimately be? Or at least have a maximum table size? In this case, try to initialize the tables (using the 'initialize the array") to this format when you create the object, then that memory space wil be pre-allocated for them. This might speed things up. Can you get an indicator of the size or the probe on the berries for themselves how big they are when things start to go bad? If they are huge, you need another solution.

• Cannot create custom themes - change the wallpaper on the evolution of a theme the wallpaper on the other themes without apparent reason.

  I am trying to create a bunch of different themes, with various wallpapers and color schemes.

  I use right click on desktop-> personalization.

  At first, it seemed possible to create different themes by going to the image I want, right click on 'set as wallpaper', then enter right-click-on - desktop-> personalization, right click on the theme "non-registered" now watch the wallpapers, I just chose, then selecting "save us." This appeared to save the theme under personalization-> my themes.

  I got up to 5 different themes under "My themes" by doing this.

  But now, #5 theme, it works all of a sudden is no longer like that.

  Now, when the value a new picture as a wallpaper, it does not change only "Unsaved theme" for new wallpaper, it changes at the same time theme #5 to this wallpaper as well. When I save the new theme theme #6 and then go to change theme #5 to the wallpaper I had originally, it replaces theme #6 as well. It is impossible to change a wallpaper without changing both of them.

  I don't understand why it ehaves in this way. Why can't save just a theme and then not have to worry that it will be crushed randomly if I do something else with a completely different theme?

• Contradictory versions of Citrix

  The Situation:
  We have client computers running Windows 7 Professional SP1 with Fujitsu scanners connected via USB with Services Terminal Server RemoteScan to Citrix version 9.714.0.0 installed so that our end users can scan documents in a system access via RDP. These same customers have Citrix receiver 14.1 and Internet Explorer 9 completely patched also installed. End users use Citrix Receiver to access system from a third party external to our network called RouteMatch (http://routematch.com/). To access the RouteMatch software end user connects to a Web site and then connects to the Citrix of RouteMatch server using the Citrix Receiver plug-in.

  Problem 1:
  What I noticed, given that we have implemented RouteMatch (almost a year now), is that when ANY program needs to be modified (e.g. installed, uninstalled or reinstalled) on these computers with Citrix Receiver both RemoteScan software installed, Citrix Receiver will stop working. "Stoppage of work", I mean when double click on icon RouteMatch in the website of asp2.routematch.com, the 'start' of Citrix window bar gets about 1/4 of the way through the window, stops, and then this window is replaced by another window with a message of statement "application is not available" or something similar.

  Workaround for problem 1 solution:
  I uninstall and reinstall the Citrix Receiver on each PC software. (In the last six months I had to reinstall the Citrix Receiver six times on all PCs).

  Troubleshooting problem 1:
  Trying to permanently solve this problem I made so that new versions of the Citrix Receiver and RemoteScan Terminal Services for software Citrix (without a 'swap') are installed on the PC. Also, since other computers with Citrix Receiver ONLY installed for RouteMatch do not have this problem when I change another program on PC, I wonder if there is a strange conflict going on between Citrix Receiver Dell RemoteScan Terminal Services and Citrix software because the two programs are associated with Citrix.
  I contacted also supported RouteMatch. They agree that there is probably a conflict between the Citrix Receiver and RemoteScan software. They believe that the problem 1 and problem 2 (see below) are symptoms of the same problem. Offered it a potential solution (see Troubleshooting for issue 2), which I put in place, our end users have tested and has not resolved the problem 2. In the same conversation that had me to implement the potential solution, the tech also recommended I have contact the Support of RemoteScan (which I do here) and see if your support team, or the members of the forum community, has had an experience with RemoteScan and Citrix Receiver contradictory between them.

  Problem 2:
  In the last month RouteMatch started crashing randomly on those computers with Citrix Receiver both RemoteScan Terminal Services from Dell, Citrix software installed. By "randomly crashing", I mean, usually, but not always (sometimes 10 minutes later, sometimes never), within 2 minutes after the newspapers involved in the application of RouteMatch (once they have successfully logged into the asp2.routematch.com site, double-click on the icon RouteMatch and Citrix Receiver starts correctly) a window indicating "Citrix HDX engine has stopped working" is displayed. The only option is to click on the button "close the program". Once the "Close program" button pressed the RouteMatch application closes.

  Troubleshooting problem 2:
  I confirmed that this problem occurred recently, that doesn't happen on computers that have installed Citrix Receiver of Dell RemoteScan Terminal Services and Citrix software. Because this problem occurs in the application of RouteMatch, and no change for the Citrix Receiver RemoteScan Terminal Services and Citrix software took place, I recommended that our end user, who is the Manager RouteMatch contact RouteMatch support.
  After the end user and I contacted RouteMatch tech supports, the tech and I ended up installing an older version of Citrix Receiver (version 10.1) technology said has been a stable solution proven for the majority of customers who are running in this error message. After installation and have our users to test, the error message persists. In the same conversation that had me to install the old version of Citrix Receiver, the tech also recommended that I have contact the Support of RemoteScan (which I do here) and see if your support team, or the members of the forum community, has had an experience with RemoteScan and Citrix Receiver contradictory between them.

  NOTE 1: My theory of Dell RemoteScan Terminal Services and Citrix Receiver for software Citrix is exactly that: a theory. There are other programs installed on computers with the installed RemoteScan software (e.g. Fujitsu Scanner drivers and related software) that are not installed on computers that do not have the RemoteScan software installed. My theory is based on circumstantial evidence, 10 years of experience in troubleshooting I.T. problems and the fact that both pieces of software associated with Citrix. So, if anyone has a better theory or a solution that does not involve RemoteScan software, I'm willing to try.

  NOTE 2: I know that our RemoteScan software is a permutation/upgrade that is optimized for Windows 7. Because of my theory of Citrix Receiver and RemoteScan contradictory, I asked about this swap with Dell a few months ago. So, I also know that this swap will cost more than $1,000. My problem is that I have no evidence that the current version of the software RemoteScan we use is causing this conflict with Citrix Receiver, so I have no way to convince management to spend money for swap/upgrade of RemoteScan software. In addition, it would be an embarrassed me and our I.T. Department if management spend money to swap RemoteScan software and problems remained after the swap.

  NOTE 3: RouteMatch support persons have no experience in troubleshooting a potential conflict between Citrix Receiver and RemoteScan. I will leave my support contacts at RouteMatch know that the old version of Citrix Receiver does not solve the problem 2. I will also continue to help me solve this problem, as much as possible, and if I don't find a solution through them I'll post to this topic.

  Meanwhile, can anyone on this forum help me solve these problems?

  Can you put an email address, they will respond to, or even postal mail address?  When I use their web messaging operations they tell me that I'm not connected, even though I am.

  I know that they have their own Service to the customer, but MS them now has.  I'd be happy to talk with them, if only I could figure out how.  The roads they provide now do not work for me and they have successfully hidden and e-mail or mailing address can be used as a method of emergency communication.

  I use APEX 5.0 (1000 likes ;-) with Oracle 11.2.

  I created an application with theme universal theme 42.

  Navigation should look like this (for example, without sense):

  1. presentation of the members

  3. last menu point

  3.1. .....

  3.1.1...

  3.1.2...

  ...

  The text is truncated or not completely display. For example only "1.1. "first conception of ' appears in the navigation menu. The rest is not visible.

  Is it possible to stop the wrapping text in the navigation menu. Looking for the corresponding model, I need to change, I found the 'Link List' model with the CSS classes "t-LinkList - nowrap ' to 'Disable the text wrapping' but I don't no weather is the right way to solve the problem or where I have to activate the Option nowrap.

  Another, perhaps better elsewhere would attend the larger navigation bar. But I can't find the right place in the style sheet to change this.

  Oh, I found the solution. I created a custom in the theme roller css, save under and so on.

  Yes, you can do it. In the dialog box modifier change your action, add a Save command

  and then click the button to specify the parameters below. Check the PDF file

  Optimizer and click settings. Select your custom optimization

  Profile and you're ready to go!

  This cluster has 3 Pools of resources: development, Production, quality

  Now consider that the Resource Pools have been initially implemented in the following way, about the 'actions' for 'CPU resources':

  -Development: Shared low =

  -Quality: Sharing = Medium

  -Production: Sharing high =

  Several virtual machines were placed in the Resource Pools. Some virtual machines are single vCPU, but others are vSMP ones: some have 2 vCPU and some of them have 4 vCPU.

  Now, imagine that I have manually changed several Pools of resources from low/normal/high "Custom" and gave them the following values:

  -Development: 3000

  -Quality: 6000

  -Production: 9000

  The virtual machines inside each Resource Pool appear to be all set up to 'Actions' = 'Normal '.

  I want to know is this:

  1 - since I changed Resource Pool shares 'Low' / 'Normal' / 'High' to 'Custom', I should / need to change the 'actions' in each individual VM from "Normal" to "Custom"?

  2 - I'm guessing that the sum of the actions of all virtual machines in a Resource Pool must be equal to the actions that I gave to this Pool of resources. Am I wrong?

  3 - I also guess that the only practical way to make this change to Virtual PCs, if necessary, is to generate scripts, preferably using PowerCLI. Friend, I have right?

  Whatever resources the resource pool level are applicable to this pool of resources and will get the part accordingly. So that resources will be divided between the virtual machines according to the shares they hold.

  Example:-two pool of resources A and B.

  Total cycles CPU = 10000 Cycles CPU

  A part (custom set) = 6000 CPU Cycle.

  Part B (custom set) = Cycle CPU 4000.

  Now a resource pool has three virtual machines powered with shares.so high normal and low on this desire to cycles CPU 6000 cases divided among them in 4:2:1

  VM1 have = 4 * 6000/7 = 3428 cycles cpu.

  VM2 will get = 2 * 6000/7 = 1714 cycles cpu.

  Vm3 will get = 1 * 6000/7 = 857 cycles cpu.

  so according to your requirement, you can change your actions at the level of the virtual machine.

  PS:shares come into picture when there is a conflict.

• How to save a PDF file in order to open them up to the 100% instead of 177% zoom?

  Currently all of the PDF files I record 177% still open. It is not very legible and requires users to zoom in to 100% in order to see the entire document. I would like to save my PDF files so they automatically open to 100% (AKA Fit to Page) whenever a customer opens to them. Is this possible? I tried several methods, but even check adjust to Page in the menu print and then to print a PostScript does not. Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Open the file in Acrobat Pro, set the initial view, and then save the file.

  The columns in the grid of the page are too narrow (72px) to account for the width of the items. Change the grid options in the page template to use less/more wide columns or change the attributes of the element for the items cover more than 1 column (put in page 2-column seems OK...)

  Hi Sabine,.

  Perhaps I could find such a guide, but do you really need them since you are on 6? I've never use custom legends, replace them with Forms. There is so much easier to create, you have all kinds of possible control, on line, fills in the form of the characters, paragraphs, filling and you can move the "point" to the legends of the legend.  I always found so hard to create ancient legends and so strict rules. No need to Flash, a graphical editor is sufficiient but you must create different graphs 5 (without and with the points in the four directions), and each graph to set a CMF file for the padding. In the time it takes to create such a legend you can get at least 10 much better search forms (and save their style in the Style of the object manager for use).

  Sorry, this isn't a good answer to your question at all. I want to tell you that I have never created a custom legend after forms appeared in Captivate 6. Even for buttons custom...

• Rollover button causing everything to redraw

  I'm having a problem with my Flex application.  It seems that roll over a button causes my custom to redraw component.  What causes all button rollovers to be very slow.  This can be seen in the attached graph - it shows cooling boxes that occur when the mouse is over the button named "foo".

  I have a very weird problem (at least for me)

  I have a UC520 connected to an ASA5510 via the VPN Site to Site.

  I can ping from clients behind customer UC520 behind ASA5510.

  I can ping from clients behind ASA5510 customer behind UC520

  I can access services (such as RDP) clients behind customer UC520 behind ASA5510

  I can't go to services (such as RDP, HTTP) clients behind customer ASA5510 behind UC520

  Does anyone have an idea where I should look? I tried to remove any access list by (temporarily) to a permit ip everything any line in these.

  I think it must be some sort of NAT problem, but I'm not sure.

  You said your UC logs revealed nothing trying to connect a.11 et.12, this means that traffic is never achieved to the CPU at all, got to the UC and was abandoned before entering the LAN or traffic got to the hosts but never returned.

  Internal hosts to other outgoing routes defined on them (unlikely but possible), and you can check that traffic is through the UC outside interface at least?
