  I am unable to connect to the Microsoft Community Forums.  A window tells me to set up a Windows Live ID account for connection and provides a line to select.  When I click on a blank screen flashes and goes away.  I created a Windows Live ID account via another method and tried again.  Still unable to connect to the Community Forums.  I can't find a spot on the Microsoft Web site at this address (since I can't connect to the instance).  The site suggests to contact my computer manufacturer I did (Compaq) and this has led me to this forum.  Any help would be appreciated.  I really have to use the Microsoft Community Forum, as I did in the past by simply signing my Windows id and the password.

  It really doesn't look like a hardware problem, so it must be linked to the software on your PC.

  I was able to finally get an answer from cat and solved my problem with the payment from my Bank.  I've been under pressure to resolve within 24 hours because of a fraud watch, was so worried.  I kept getting a canned message that says I'll see if I can solve in the forums of the community instead with a link.  Since I had already listed my personal information billing question, I was really very irritated that this message kept repeating.

  To solve this problem, perhaps when a cat of support is desired and issue filters through like a billing you could message read differently, such that "we're busy with other customers but will be with you as soon as possible, you are important to us..." "or something like that... certainly not go to community forums!

  Without knowing what PC you have or even with the operating system you use, it is difficult to provide specific answers.  In view of the subject line you post, I assume you have a cell phone company, like a Probook or something similar.  It may be wise to ask your question in the Business Enterprise Community.

  That said, all touchpads I know, including that on my Probook 6470 b, can be disabled by following these steps:

  The new forums don't seem to be very accessible from the ipad/iphone interfaces. Try to drill into the details of the questions and answers is not working at all - you get just high level pages once again - the forum can be improved to support this - is there any other way to access the site of these devices?

  Hmm ok for me on iphone 1 click on the post link does nothing but highlight, 2nd click then open - boring, but it works.

  On the ipad, no amoint click Don't open the link, but if you keep your finger on the link and wait until the context menu and then click on open it is not in.

  If both are usable - just not the environment.

  Maybe the next iOS version update safari and solve this problem. Question for the moment of closing.

  Is that someone of another problem of sttrange on the forums with messages for 1 year before apperaing ago hours of messages? -Next and Previous displays time stamped also randomly? Maybe it's just a bug using Ubuntu Firefox 4.0 for Ubuntu Natty, who has just updated (sudo aptitude update)?

• Acer orbicam driver for windows 7

  Acer Orbicam came with my laptop, which originally had Windows XP.  I recently installed Windows 7 and the camera does not work.  I get a message no camera is installed (or found), a driver is required, and this does not seem to be found in the computer.  I saw offers online for free download of the driver, but do not know if they are reliable, because they also seem to want to install other programs, such as advertising.  Is there a website where I can get what I need to do the camera work?
