  Your subscription to creative cloud is independent of CS4 and should not interfere with the installation of the Acrobat 9 that came with you more. Run the Creative Suite Installer and installing it will give you a screen where you can choose which application you want to install.

  If you have tried and it doesn't work, we will be able to best solve your problem if you can provide more details as suggested by Mylenium. What is your OS and what exactly happens when you try to install Acrobat CS4 discs? You receive an error message?   You need not install older versions in order to get the last update enabled.  During the CS4 activation process, you can specify the eligible previous version (choose the oldest among a list, then enter its serial number).  Choose any one you had just before CS4.

  You need a disk FULL/license to do a clean install, not an upgrade license.

  Take it back to Wal-Mart and see if you can exchange it.

  Download the installation files and use the serial number, you need to activate.

  Contact the manufacturer of your computer that you initially provided with your computer, with Office already installed.
  Ask them to provide the office disk/s.

  Update requires the same Service Pack level.  For example, if your current Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 or SP2 installed, you will need to uninstall the Service Pack to be able to use the Windows Vista Ultimate Edition disc, you have that has no Service Pack integrated.

Can someone dvise me. I bought the upgrade of Apple and it is the international version.

  You can try to remove a registry key located at the:

  HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VSTA\Solutions\ {GUID}
  The {GUID} value will be different in your environment.
  Make sure that you remove the right key.  Confirm by checking the DWORD value "Url" to the key.
  Restart Excel and you should be good to go.
