  This option was there before, but it is not available now. Mainly because, most of the machines of a model have the same mother with the exception of the graphics card. Even the processor is switchable (graphics card is not). So for this reason, all void models are compatible with the same drivers except for wifi (since it may be different and you know) and gpu.

After several months of that Windows 7 has become very slow and unresponsive, so I ask for help from the same person. He removed the windows 7 and tried to install another, but all his attempts failed. Since that time, my laptop did not work.
  I used the HP Web site to know the cause of this problem. I knew that there is a Recovery Manager and I should update or reinstall this cover, but I don't know than before. I reached hardly to HP technical support in the Middle East. They guide me in Egypt HP service centers but all these centers very stupid and useful because they said that recovery of this model not available with them because my laptop model not available in the Middle East. When I get back to the technical support HP in the Middle East, they told me to return to the centers of service again as they can contact HP technical support to the United States and get the recovery of this model, but they refused. Accordingly the HP Middle East technical support solve this problem in tips to return me my laptop in the USA.
  My laptop did not work for 4 months, due mainly my error and stupidity and lack of cooperation of HP technical support in the Middle East and Egypt HP service centers.
  Please help me as soon as possible.

• SSD upgrade failed - not found boot drive

  I need your help guys... I've been everywhere on the net, try different methods to clone my Windows 7 for SSD and failed repeatedly.

  Here is my setup, I have a HP Envy 14 with a 500 GB HARD drive. I bought an SSD to speed things up.  I have 2 OS (dual boot),

  Win7 and win 8, on which Win8 is the default operating system (according to the news of easyBCD).   I just want to clone the Win7 OS part.

  (Win7 - C drive), (Win8 - F drive) and recovery on the D drive.

  I tried these t hings upafter the defragmentation and backup)

  1. While on Win7, I created a copy of the image, but strangely, thought, once the process is complete the copy of the image is Win8

  I've used EaseUs to do backup and clone Drive C

  Swapped with the SSD HARD drive and got a message could not find a boot disk

  2. because I failed on the first try, I formatted the SSD and opt instead for a new installation.

  -J' I downloaded the ISO of Win7, swapped the (empty) SSD newly formatted

  -Started on the Win7 Installer, and have the operating system installed on the SSD.

  -J' thought that I was until I noticed assigned HP keys do not work, the USB drivers do not work, I could not turn on/off wifi. The reason may be the missing drivers (bloatware since the HP recovery disk - given that I didn't copy that one)

  3. after the attempts, I formatted the SSD drive. I read somewhere to use the HP recovery instead.

  -J' cloned the disc to my HDD to the SSD HP recovery

  -Swapped with the SSD HARD drive

  -Started my laptop and not found boot drive... (even after pressing F11)

  can you tell me a better way to do it?   Or if someone could point out what I did wrong, or perhaps missed?  Really appreaciate... This was bugs me for the last days...

  If this does not help, I suggest to do a reinstall of HP standard on the SSD. Once done, do a restore to a previous image in the OS Windows, is not using any bootable media.

  Remove all devices, dock and removable media connected to the computer and try the following steps to resolve the problem:

  1. Check if the hard drive is listed in the BIOS. Restart the computer > key 'F2 '.
  
  
  2. For Windows 8, shut DOWN the computer > press Assist key > key press F2 to access the BIOS.
  
  
  3. If the hard drive is not listed, the problem may be related with the material. Reset the BIOS once.
  
  
  4. Use the arrow keys on the keyboard to find the "Exit" button and select an option "Load optimized or default values", save the settings and exit the BIOS.
  
  
  5. Then check if you are able to start the operating system.
  
  
  6. In the case, if the problem persists, it may be related with the material.

  I bought a Satellite Pro A300 that came with Windows Vista pre-installed on it. I was offered a Windows 7 Uprgrade for 30 by Toshiba that I bought and got 2 discs:

  I have updated successfully however the drivers Toshiba disk does not list my model of laptop. I tried to install the drivers on the disk for the OEM software such as drivers of web cam (which are not available online), but they do not work. Also now my DVD player does not open and I can't view the contents of the disc?

  Can someone advise who I come into contact with to get a drive for my laptop model?

  I have a pc hp pavilion touch laptop 14, which has been having a defective hard disk that the operating system was not start and the system test indicated that the hard drive contained errors.
  
  I replaced the hard drive with a new one and before installing the hard drive I formatted with a win installation 8.1. I thought the laptop would just start normally to win8, but gave me a screen saying:

  boot device not found please install an operating system on drive hard drive (3f0)

  The hard drive is new and I did not not how its gives me this error!

  In addition, this laptop does not seem to boot from a cd to format!

  Hey BHK6,

  I found out what was wrong! It was so simple!

  I just need to make the boot inherited from the bios, like that he started directly from the hard drive and does not need of any software pre installed HP to start.

  I've updated my laptop HP for Windows - 10 - PRO EDITION (64-bit).
  
  Update went well.

  All the drivers seem to be installed device and work.

  Operating system works very well.

  I'm having a problem with sleep / Hibrernation modes.

  When I close the lid for a few seconds and then reopen the lid the laptop does not wake up.

  When the computer goes to sleep it seems to go in hibernation. Even though I disabled the hibernation in the power of the system settings.

  When I press a key on the keyboard of the laptop won't wake up.

  It will not wake up from sleep or hibernation mode.

  I need to power cycle the notebook to log in Notepad.

  My laptop (HP 15.6 "15r011dx with the baytrail-M Intel Pentium platform) works very well with Windows-10 and wake up very well to the mode sleep and extended. So, I know what present works with Windows-10.

  How can I fix?

  Do I need to install other drivers/software?

  This feature is not supported on this HP laptop?

  nvrd32.sys file is a chipset driver and must be installed via floppy F6 during initial installation.

  Method 1: To do this, follow these steps.

  a. you can download the chipset drivers from Toshiba Web site and copy it to a floppy drive.

  b. press F6 at the start of the installation of Windows XP.

  c. follow the on-screen instructions to install the drivers for the chipset.

  Method 2: You can contact Toshiba to restore to factory on the laptop.
