Re: Lenovo Helix Touch screen faulty

Salvation of the Germany,

I have exactly the same problem here. I bought the same propeller with i7 and 8 GB system. Unfortunately, I have the same problems. The touchscreen began to be insensitive or lag on the screen. Then somehow, he started to make the phantomtouches on a point again and again. This phantomtouches fight with the stylus, trackpad and sometimes the keys in my hand. Needless to say that the rate of phantomtouches is very high that you can't win the battle.

I tried a recalibration, driver updates, windowsupdates, did a restore (x 2) and reset the entire Thinkpad Helix to the initial state of the delivery. After doing the reset via the computer restarted windows and... the phantomtouch was on the exact same as before. Before I could register my pcname and so on.

Don't not to mention that this error in Tablet and notebookmode portfolio. Sometimes the phantomtouches stopped, but they I come back 5 minutes later.

Would love to see a solution.

I understand that you can not use the touchscreen on your Lenovo computer.

I read all the possible articles relating to this and tried to fix it, but none of it works. Some cite the year that it is a bug on the power management in windows 8. Even if this did not help me.

    I tried the following:

    1. I have tried reinstalling windows 8 with a thorough cleaning, essentially a reset (he didn't want to try upgrading to windows 8.1 since all these users facing the same problem)

    2. device Manager > human interface devices > USB input device. In this, I disabled the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the power management tab. Also disabled "USB selective suspend" in the power settings.

  • U430 hinge of the touch screen

I got Lenovo U430 Touch at the end of August and have noticed that the hinge of the screen was not very strong but it was working again fine. But today the hinge is broken and I can't close the form properly without adjustment. I didn't drop it or damage and I looked and saw that other people had similar problems and say it was a failure of the production. Is there anyway I can get a replacement or what I send in repairs? I'm in College and I'm going to be needing for a few weeks so I can't send repairs yet. And if $99 fees are not covered by the warranty? I called Lenovo support and they said that they can't watch my laptop until I pay the tax. I feel like the quality of the Lenovo has declined recently. Any help would be appreciated.

Lenovo has concluded an investigation into reports of mounting hinge laptop U430 Touch and U530 Touch chess. If the laptop has not been deleted or otherwise damaged and is under warranty, please contact Lenovo's Service for support.

    Thank you

I'm having same problem with black 10 2 that I just got. The touch screen stops responding, but a reset of the driver it will back 100% of the time. Unfortunately I can easily stop responding again by wailing on the keyboard of the OS or a game. This seems to be a software problem (likely firmware or BIOS) but I return the product and get a new one to try to rule out hardware problems. Also, I am pleased to also about as costly as possible for Lenovo catastrophic quality control. If all goes well, there will be the drivers or firmaware posted soon to update this but in the meantime, I hope that they like shipping of all new material, free of charge, to infinity.

  • Major problem with the touch screen after upgrade Windows 10

I bought a Lenovo Yoga 3 14 "a few weeks ago and upgraded to Windows 10 as soon as I got it.

Since I started using it, the touchscreen will be occaisionally go "crazy". Crazy is the best way I can describe it because it will start input touch by ignoring or doing his own random touch input on the screen. Nothing the laptop will start to switch between windows and opening and closing of the things.

This laptop is not running Windows 8.1 long enough for me to know if she has had this problem before the upgrade.

    Any ideas?

  • X 1 carbon Gen3 touch screen camera does not

    Hello

As in the description, I have the 3rd generation X carbon 1 with a touch screen. I have problems my camera integrated into the work. I think that I remember when I got to my laptop, but I haven't used in a while. Yestrday, I googled Hangouts to try and use the camera again, but it did not work. I continued to look for his start-up. I tried to download the latest drivers (who would never complete installation because it could not find the device). I deleted my antivirus. I disabled my ad blocker on my Chrome. Rebooted my laptop several times. I did a bunch of stuff, but nothing seemed to work. I went in the program of camera integrated by default on my laptop and it shows just a camera with an X through it, it seems that my laptop is not plugged properly or something. A way to fix it? It is a tiny little problem that I can fix it with, or is it a bigger problem at hand? Or... I'm just delusional? I never had a built-in camera?

Open settings of Lenovo from there, you can control your camera, WiFi, Bluetooth and much more ensure under camera that the security mode is not enabled, if it is then it will not be sent the images from the camera turn off so he can send photo again since that one thing security when you use not the camera to prevent hackers / intruder to misappropriation of your camera to see what you at home so they can penetrate when nobody is home to steal things.

If that does not fix it reboot the bios then find section i/o in the bios and make sure integrated device said he [Enabled] and not [Disabled] if there disabled that also areason why it won't work.

  • T450 problem touch screen

Hi, I noticed recently that my touch screen of my T450 does not work.

Also on my computer properties it says that there is no available Pen/Touch input.

Sometimes it appears and still does not work and most of the time does not appear.

Is there some sort of diagnosis or procedure to check whether it is hardware or software problem?

I guess I found the problem.

It's the same problem with other models and it seems that it is a compatibility issue by combining touch screen + smart card reader.
