  I just put a laptop Toshiba Satellite M55-S139. I added a 1 GB RAM and everything seems to work, even the Aero Interface.

  For this particular model, I could not find another A40 Pro which has a DVD - RW, only DVD ROM. I also suggest to buy an external DVD - RW writer because an internal hard drive will cost much more. Probably triple what external there. External, you can find for about 50 but internal will cost at least about 90 more taxes. I'm sure it is internal that correspond to this machine, but at the moment I don't have the time to research each compatible model search of the car, it's why I suggest an external drive.   I tried 9 times to burn a DVD.
  I tried several software programs including InterVideo WinDVD came with the laptop, DVDFab Decrypter and those that I use most of the time, DVDShrink and ImgBurn.

  The log of the software indicates success, but most of the DVD will not play back - even on my laptop. Most of them won't open even - it just keeps telling me to insert a disk in the drive.

  Only once, I successfully burned a part of a DVD with InterVideo, and I could play on my external DVD player. But I was not able to duplicate my success (and only partially burned - perhaps InterVideo's just a demo). I tried to save as an ISO image and also just the files.

  I'm using Memorex DVD-R. Can someone help me please! I tried the DVD forums and nobody knows the answer. Is this a hardware problem?

  This means that you have created two DVD-R virgins for the installation of recovery?
  Please, start your laptop and press F12 repeatedly. When the boot menu appears put the first recovery DVD in the optical disc drive in the menu, choose the CD/DVD and start the installation with the button ENTER.

  You can also try to start installation of recovery image stored on the HARD drive.

  If you didn't change anything about this either on the second partition of HARD drive, try it please follow:
  Start your laptop and press F8 immediately several times to enter Advanced Startup Options. If everything is OK the first option, to fix my computer. If this option is available, please choose and run with the button ENTER.

  Then simply follow the menu on the screen and you will enter in the System Recovery Options. The last option should be Toshiba Recovery option. Please use this option to start the recovery image installation.
  As I've written before, this should work if you didn't change the default settings.
