Re: Map of Satellite A350 ATI graphics driver needed
Hello
A few weeks before, I bought a Satellite A350. I installed Windows XP and I can not find the drivers for the card of graphis. This laptop seems to be to use a card ATI Mobility Radeon 3650. The ATI website, there are drivers for the cards 'Radeon', but trying to find "mobillity radeon" there is no model 3650, even 3400 or 3600. At Toshiba website, there is no drivers for XP and drivers for Vista displays an error message (can't open center manager or a similar message).
could you help me to find drivers for XP?
Thank you.
Thank you for this interesting feedback!
You are welcome in the forum! ;)

Hello
The blue screen of death is usually due to a software problem or malfunction of the equipment. In your case, I recommend reinstall the graphics driver.
See the page of the Toshiba driver for updates.
If it doesn t help and the blue screen appears again and it would be very interesting to know the details of the blue screen, for example stop: xxxxxxCheck it out.

ATI graphic driver constantly crashing on the satellite
Hi all, if this question is asked before, please accept my apologies and me directly to the answer.
I have a Toshiba Equium running Windows XP (sp 2) but there seems to be some kind of conflict with the graphics driver (ATI Mobility Radeon 7000 IGP) which forces the system to crash several times a day - sometimes at startup, sometimes it crashes just during the operation. The error message says that ATI Graphics driver got into an infinite loop.
I have the latest version of windows and the ATI updates but it seems to make no difference.
A trawl of the internet forums suggest that many people have had this problem, but nobody seems to have a good solution.
Hi Steve
The BSOD appears and it is said that the ati32dvag.dll of the driver is stuck in an infinite loop. Am I wrong?
I found also several threads on the infinite loop problem ATI graphics driver.
Especially, he arrived at the course to play games or run solid 3d applicationsLucky is right. You must install the graphics drivers from the Toshiba page.
If this does not help, you can try to use the drivers from the site omegadrivers.net -

If I uninstall the ATI graphics driver, is it OK?
I read that there could be problems with the help of the automatic update to install the graphics drivers? That's what I used. In any case, I intend to uninstall my ATI graphics driver and reinstall it in the hope of fixing the problem of sleep.
I want to just make sure: is it OK to just uninstall the graphics driver? The screen still works? I guess there will always be a standard video driver from microsoft so the screen should work again right?
See you soon.
There is no problem by uninstalling the ATI graphics driver and a video driver included with windows will be used as a Standard VGA driver or something like that. So it's not like you'll get a black screen after a reboot.

To me, it seems that the graphics chip would cause this issue may be due to a higher internal temperature? ?:|Have you noticed a higher temperature while this problem appear?

Satellite L850-1VM - graphics driver more recent need
Hello
I own a satellite L850-1VM with Windows 8 is installed.
It works well except that GPU - Z reports a bug in OpenCL. To fix this problem it ask me to update driver ATI. The driver available for this PC on the Web from Toshiba site is the 8.982.10.6000. Latest ATI driver is 13.4. Available on the ATI site driver refuse to install asking me to get the driver of Toshiba...You know a release date for the new version of the driver? There is a long way from 8.982 and 13.4!
Or you know of a way to install the standard driver on Toshiba laptop?
Moreover, why my computer is not visible on the Web from Toshiba site?... It seems that my computer does not exist for Toshiba...
Concerning
Stéphane> you know a way to install the standard driver on Toshiba laptop?
Toshiba drivers are modified for mobile use. We hear that this driver supports a GPU overheating protection.
Drivers ATI original don t support such characteristic and that is the reason why this driver cannot be installed using the standard installation procedure. But if you want to use this driver at your own risk, you can install it via the Device Manager.
Here, you get an option of advanced installation that allow you to choose the folder containing the downloaded driver of the driver files. In this way, you could install such 3rd party driver. -
