  OK, I've created a document 162,7 "x 90.6" (work plan) for a design I design. The document was created using all the flaws - I think that's where I was wrong.   just for info: won´t you get more than 256 MB of RAM. The only graphics memory is your dedicated, I Don t know what you mean with that shared, in my view, there is no available shared mem.

  I have a Satellite A200 here, my friend took instead of pc, and they told him it t could not be fixed and needed a new motherboard... Well, I've managed to fix it and connect it to the internet (I've fixed a few PC) anyway I did all updates, then it took forever to stop.

  Now, he won t load it just says: everything that s of loading. Or I get a black screen and now it doesn't want to load... I can t get into doing a restore or do a hard test drive. do you suggest anything?

  As far as I know recovery disk can not be downloaded so I t understand what you did exactly.
  Anyway if material s notebook is OK you can install OS using original recovery DVD disc or install the OS by using the original installation disc for Microsoft.
  If you have the original recovery DVD (ask your friend if he or she has a) use it for installing the OS.

  If you are using Microsoft disk all the necessary drivers, you can find on Toshiba download page under http://eu.computers.toshiba-europe.com/innovation/download_drivers_bios.jsp

  When I insert the SD card into the laptop, nothing happens. My SD card does not seem to be recognized by the system.
  I tried to different maps, but none of them have been recognized.
  SD host controller is listed correctly in the Device Manager.
  I don't know what happened, but there is no problem with SD cards before you recognize.

  Hi there, my suggestion would be first uninstall and then reinstall the drivers from your SD controller (available for your laptop model on your regional site of Toshiba drivers). • Trying to install win xp pro on the Satellite A200 - TH1 (PSAE3C)

  I just bought this laptop. It came with vista. I want to install xp pro on it, I mean keep vista as well. So I made the partition and assigned 72 GB for xp pro. Now the problem is that xp pro install cd does not recognize the hard drive. It says no hard drive present.

  It is a SATA drive. So I did some searching on Google on it and found that xp pro doesn't have SATA drivers and this is why you may not see the hard drive. I need to install the SATA drivers with xp pro by pressing F6... and blah blah. Given that this laptop didn't come with the disk, then I found on some forums to include drivers with xp pro cd and make an iso image and try to run it.

  I tried several times but each time it gives me error this cable is broken. Is someone can pls let me know what is the problem? And also if anyone can guide me to get the right drivers for my SATA drive and intel 965 PM chipset... If I go the Intel Web site.

  They are all. EXE files. I want the driver files only, so I can insert them into the xp cd. Thanks for your help and guidance adavance.

  I was able to get the drivers... now, I came across another hurdle... When I put the XP installation cd (which is an ISO bootable disk... This includes the xp sp2 and realtek nic drivers) it gives me message that searching for media... RTL8100E/8101E v1.02... test failed... Check if the cable is connected...

  Any ideas? What should I do now? Any suggestion would be appreciated... Thank you

  In fact the XP drivers for the A200 series aren't coming out over this period. I didn t find on the page of Tosh.

  The memory that you install is not covered under warranty HP of course, but more memory quality carries its own lifetime warranty.
