Hello

It seems that this software confused your OS.
Try this;
Start Notepad, and then press F8. Usually, the Advanced Boot Menu should appear.
Now you should choose the option: last good configuration.

Alternatively, you can try to start the computer in safe mode. The option can also be selected in the Advanced Start Menu

Select this check box.

  • Black screen after installing attempt

I tried a windows 7 upgrade on a desktop D5100t and on the last restart I got a black screen with no video.  I finished the Upgrade advisor scan and deleted all software problems before the upgrade.  Help.

That's where I was headed.  The "Starting Windows" animation is an animation of fixed resolution (1024 * 768).  After that, it loads the graphic driver and going to the "preset" resolution  If something went wrong the resolution then it could try to drive an inconsistent signal.

You hear the windows startup sound?

Windows 7 has some nice features around HDMI connections.  Try this: start the system and let it go to a black screen.  Once the hard disk activity remains somewhat, unplug your HDMI cable.  If you do not have your audio files via the HDMI port, you will hear the sound of "Bell" with a disconnection device.  If you have not your audio via HDMI, then of course you won't hear anything when you disconnect the cable.  Wait a few seconds and plug it back.  This will force windows to enumerate the screen again, and it can give you the office (or the log on screen).

    Hello

Try this and let me know.

Boot the computer normally and log.

Black screen, hold down the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

    Select Task Manager.

At the bottom left, select details (if it is not already selected).

Click in the header of column Nsoul to organize the processes in alphabetical order.

Look for an entry called to run once Wrapper (RunOnce.exe) - If you see it listed, right-click on it and select end task.

    The office is now show?

If this is the case, download Autoruns on the following link and save it in your downloads folder.

    http://download.sysinternals.com/files/Autoruns.zip

When you have that, open your download folder, right-click on the folder zipped to Autoruns, select "extract all...". "and in the next window, click Extract.

A new window will open displaying the extracted content.  The application you must launch is the 2nd in the list (in format autoruns 636ko) but this by right clicking on it and selecting 'Run as administrator' -click 'Yes' to the uac prompt.

Scroll down the list until you find the entrance to RunOnce (it may well be 2 entries) and Remove the tick (s) in the box next to it.

Restart computer and see if it boots now on the desktop.

  • NB100 implemented black screen after Windows (with bar)

    Hello
    I have laptop nb100.

My Windows XP is not loading (learn how to Windows with screen bar, then it blocks black).

I thought just re-intall Windows XP, so I tranfered my WinXP to .iso format and placed on my formatted USB (XP and .iso seem well).

I changed my computer to boot from USB and f12 on start up and it goes to the USB port, no probs. Then, I get a black screen with these choices:

1, text-mode Setup (flash start again after)
2nd, continuous mode GUI installation, setup + 1 start windows
---> DEBUGGING Options. Try if you have the hal.dll error<>
Debug the rdisk 1 2 boot partition
Debug the rdisk 1 3 boot partition
Debug the rdisk 1 4 boot partition
Debug the rdisk 2 1 boot partition
Debug the rdisk 2 2 boot partition
Debug the 2 3 rdisk boot partition
Debug the 2 4 rdisk boot partition

Option: text-mode installation 1, (start to flash again after).
kicks in a blue screen with the Windows installation
    wallpaper load some info
then it crashes on Setup starts windows

I have Win Xp SP2, was originally installed SP3, but can not find the drive (have to SP2 and 3) so I have Win XP SP2 through ISO then installed on usb (not sure if that is the question)

All I want is to re - install the computer (no I have not re - install discs), so I thought it would be easier to re XP - install.

    Any assistance received very highly.

    Thanks in advance :)

    Hello

    > so I tranfered my WinXP in .iso format and put on my formatted USB key

Sorry, man, but I did not understand how you have transferred it.

I advise to get windows copy disk and USB drive to make a bootable usb drive to install windows.

You can make a USB bootable in 2 ways:

    1. manually with the command prompts

    http://forums.computers.Toshiba-Europe.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=53324&TSTART=60

2 automatically using programs such as WinSetupFromUSB or Novicorp WinToFlash

I'm guessing that you have reinstalled Windows from a DVD, right?

Your PC came with a version of HP OEM of Windows preinstalled, and it is the only version guaranteed to work on this unit.

You should consider reinstalling using HP recovery media to operate again.  It's a set of DVD and a CD that will erase the hard drive (removing all data, applications and settings, reinstall the original OS, drivers and utilities for HP. In some cases, you will be able to order a USB instead of discs.  You must order at HP; they cannot be downloaded.

You can look online for recovery from the paged media related: http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers

Once there, enter your product name or number. On your software page and download the drivers, select your operating system and version. Click on "Update".  If the HP recovery support is available for your computer, down near the bottom of the page, you will see an entry for the command Recovery Media-CD/DVD/USB. Click on the symbol '+' to expand this entty and click on order to press for more details.

Or, if you prefer, you can do the same by contacting HP Customer Service:

If you live in the United States or the Canada, details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/phone-assist.html#section1

If you live elsewhere, contact details are on this page: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Note that if HP no longer provides a recovery media for your model, a few other sites, you can check are: http://www.computersurgeons.com/ and http://www.restoredisks.com/

Don't forget to read through the material in the linked thread before attempting the recovery: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c00707939

    Good luck

  • E5 - 511 black screen after installing Windows 10

Hi, not sure I can ask a question here already?

Well, this: I improved my longs E5-511 Windows 8.1 for Windows 10. After a cold start, it appears a black screen, until I have press the power button until it stops. Start again, it's OK, although slow. I found discussions on this matter by Google, it seems men to the Intel HD Graphics driver. According to Device Manager, I later. There is a 64-bit device driver Windows 10 on the Intel web site that looks much newer, but it refuses to install it.

    Any ideas?

You can try the drivers on the website of acer for your model:

    http://us.Acer.com/AC/en/us/content/drivers

If this does not work, you can download and use the Intel driver update utility.  The best thing to try first the driver from the Acer site.

  • Black screen after using the popular repair disk.

I have a Dell Latitude D620 XP with SP3.  I installed a utilityAnd repair/tune-up that seemed to go well. Then several hours later, I found it with a black screen and it will not get after the BIOS loading before the black screen drive hard light Charlotte.

I tried to start safe mode, and the hash of the path works in only about halfway to the bottom of the screen. I tried disable automatic reboot, then Safe Mode w / networking. still stuck... I use another dell latitude which has its own problems.

He was left in the repair shop for 10/11 with windows files corrupted and missed all of the updates. When the community hands me the answer to my loop of black screen on the xp operating system, because I am sure they will be, I'll get into trouble I have with the machine running Vista.

There is a relevant reason to denote the unit D630 Vista OS. I had exchanged batteries because the update of flash plaqyer needed a good battery to install successfully, and vista units battery will not take a charge.

  • Satellite L350D - 11K: black screen after downloading the Tempro updates

    Hi Forum,

yesterday, I admitted Tempro download several updates on my satellite L350D - 11K.
During the last update, it was an update of the firmware, the system crashed, and it no longer starts.

After removing the battery, the system starts up, but now it has a black screen and I don't know what to do.
Pressing any key F doesn't show any results and I have no recovery CD.

Does anyone have an idea what to do?

    Thxxx in advance

    Hello

I don't know why it happened, but if the short workaround solution posted by boarder will not help, so I see good opportunities to contact the ASP in your country for assistance.

    > During the last update, it was an update of the firmware, the system crashed, and it no longer starts.
You're talking about the firmware update
Maybe it was a BIOS update which failed and so the laptop will not start again
As already said in this case that only the ASP technician could help you.

It seems during the BIOS update process, something went wrong and therefore the laptop does not start correctly.
You should know that the update of the BIOS is always a risky job.

Unfortunately, you will not be able to solve this problem. You need a help of an ASP.
