  I don't have a file number from my chat conversation last night. The other contact took end PMs Twitter last night and this morning.

  The good news is that suggested Twitter support team download us the CS6 software on the site rather than use our disks, and who seems to have made a difference. We were able to activate with the downloaded version a bit ago. Not sure why there is a difference between the discs and the download on this issue, but I'm happy to live with this mystery in exchange of software work.

  According to the description of the problem, it seems that you can not install the patch (KB2929437), this problem may occur if one or more of the following conditions are met:

  1. The Windows Update database is damaged.
  2. Antivirus software is configured to scan the folder % Windir%\SoftwareDistribution.
  3. Service (BITS) Background Intelligent Transfer Service does not receive a content link header.
  4. A required system file is incorrectly registered.

  You have probably installed a 64 bit version of Flash for Firefox plugin.

  If I understand your message, you have deleted the preinstalled Toshiba OS and installed a clean Win 7 OS in this notebook. Right?
  This means that all drivers must be installed after the installation of Windows.
  In some cases the Win 7 use standard Microsoft drivers that are part of the operating system and some devices may be recognized automatically, but in most cases you will need to install the correct drivers.

  Than other cell phones use the same chip as C650 LAN card? I doubt not all laptops use the same LAN chip, which means that different driver must be installed.

  I recently purchased a Qosmio G30-102 with nVIDIA GeForce Go 7600. In Chapter 6 of the manual, it refers to the utility of photo as part of the QosmioEngine installation development. Appears not to be entered preinstalled on your laptop. How can I get this program and why is it not already there?

  Are you sure that this app is missing on you laptop to 100%?
  I ask because usually the image Enhancement Utility V3.8.0.0 TOSHIBA must be installed

  The QosmioEngine is active when you use the Qosmio Player TV or the DVD player Qosmio. In addition, the image of Toshiba Enhancement Utility is available on models nVidia Go7300.
  If you have the nVidia Go7300 graphics card you might check the windows, tabs in the nVidia desktop Manager Applications

• WLAN on Tecra 9100 - LED should go orange if the s/w keyboard shortcut NOT installed?

  I bought a Tecra 9100 that had been restored to XP SP1 and without good Toshiba utilities that most drivers seemed to be OK - for example screen OK but USB has been 1.1 until I added the Intel Chipset drivers.

  I can't get the WLAN card to work by sliding the switch (close microphone) - also, it does NOT appear in Device Manager. I spotted a post below (which was locked) where Pedro said WiFi hotkey software must be installed to make it work. Two questions:

  1 if the s/w keyboard shortcut IS NOT installed should always be able to mount the light Orange / appear in Device Manager
  2. is there an alternate download site because I tried 20 times in the last 15 hours at: http://support.toshiba-tro.de/tedd-files2/0/cmod-en-20070925121500.zip (for the common modules) and the site just seems to be 'dead' - nothing is received at all

  The shortcut key has nothing to do with the WLan card status in Device Manager! The keyboard shortcut software only controls the function FN + F8.

• KB976422 update does not install

  Windows Udate KB976422 will not install for me.  Whenever I run "update" it tells me that the update is an optional facility for my system.  Whenever it works, I see little CPU or disk activity.  The update task never ends.  If I run the update during the closing of the process, the PC stops later (long after I'm aslepp) but is still listed as an optional update after a reboot.

  I am running Windows 7 Ulitimate (64-bit) with 6 GB of RAM, 2.2 to disk (RAID 5, even if the OS is not on the RAID device) with all other updates installed suuccessfully.  The troubleshooter in windows didn't find a problem or suggest a way to proceed.  Is there a way to fix this, or should I just live without it?

  Hi, I tried to install SP2 for Vista pack recently without success. Basically, I'll install and my computer stops then starts up and when installing it will cancel and say changes in recovery does not summers.

  When my computer load back to the top of the screen and the icons have become much bigger and my computer seems to be missing a lot of pilots.

  I tried to disable all the startup items.

  I tried to uninstall my Norton 360 program.

  Stand-alone setup I tried and it also does the same thing.

  Ran sfc/scannow, and it has detected an error and fixed it but no difference.

  I tried to run the system preparation tool, but loading upward it checks updates and asks me to install an update first. When you try to install the update, it happens at the same point every time and just hangs. If I wait long enough he will say: impossible to install and it is that I get.

  When I check history the next error code update to SP2 install is e000023f. I tried to check whether that SP2 was installed in part. When I go in the installed updates it have SP2 listed, but when I right click on it gives me no option to delete so I guess it was not installed. By going to computer/properties also confirmed that it is still SP1.

  Any help would be greatly appreciated that I like this update because my computer doesn't seem to be good at all currently underway. It takes more than an hour now to intall minor updates.

  If N360 is no longer installed (and before you reinstall it):

  1. download the Norton Removal Tool, save it to your desktop: ftp://ftp.symantec.com/public/english_us_canada/removal_tools/Norton_Removal_Tool.exe

  2. close all open applications (that is, anything with an icon on the taskbar).

  3. click right on the file saved in #1 above, and then select run as administrator to run the utility. DO TAP not your keyboard until the race ends, then restart.

  IMPORTANT! Should not connect your computer to the internet or any network without a fully functional anti-virus application & completely updated installed and an active firewall!

  Your misguided (IMHO) use of System Mechanic may have caused your problems. If you think your registry needs to "clean up" or "repaired" and need more convincing that it doe NOT, read http://aumha.net/viewtopic.php?t=28099 and draw your own conclusions.
